It makes a difference. It looks like our levels are now 6, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8
6 + 6 + 6 + 7 + 7 + 8 = 40
40/6 = 6.67 which rounds up to 7 which means we should be playing subtier 8-9 with the 4 player adjustment. At 39 total levels we'd have gotten to choose which subtier to play since at 6.5 we get to choose which way to round.
But don't worry. You don't have a choice not to level up so there is nothing you can really do about it.

It’s the holidays, it’s to be expected.
Also thanks Kols that Thorek made those checks. It’d be embarrassing for a Dwarven Inquisitor of Kols to not know his own pantheon.

So fun fact, this is actually the last combat encounter of the scenario. Once this combat is done, the trilogy is finished!
Turns out you really don't need to do the hammers sub-plot for prestige.

The cursed wound heals up if someone beats the DC while healing you. Out of adventure it will cost nothing to patch up.

Thorek drifted away after the mission. Bound by oaths to Kols, he kept his word on the secret of the sky citadel. But, with the discovery of Koldukar, the Inquisitor spent many a month leading Dwarven scholars into the ruins. His share of the profits was always meager (day job), as every crown made was invested back into the expedition. For Thorek, this was a mission of the gods. The history of his people was finally ready to be rediscovered. And while it might take decades, or even centuries, to fully understand the secrets of Koldukar, he was ready to lay the groundwork. At least, until his oaths to the pathfinders called to him again.
For this expedition, he extended an invitation to Boftil to join him. In the Dwarven berserker, he saw much of his own pain. He hoped that some time away from blood and death, and instead doing good for their people, might likewise help the damaged soul.
