Dead Suns:

The young woman looks at the verge of tears.

"Yes, we did someone find alive; he is hiding in a different part of this dungeon, waiting to see if we could rescue you".

Dead Suns:

I'm putting all the looting off screen. Im confident that you can find everything you're looking for

You gently lead the youngn woman out of the cryps, and back up the stairs. When you reach the storage room, Roldare cries out in happiness. He and the young lady fall into each others arms, crying.

While both of them take a much needed rest, you head back down into the crypt to light the lantern the mayor gave you. As you reach for the flame, a figure rises from the tomb. It floats and is see trough.

"Thank you humble heros for saving these poor souls and preventing a great evil from escaping. I am Kassen. Please accept my blessing."

A part of the tomb slides open, revealing a shield and a gem. The spirit slowly fades from view.

If there is anything you still want to do in the crypt, let me know. Otherwise I'll proceed to the conclusion

Jurgen will also put some work in inspecting the rest of the burial chamber to see if he can figure out just who the intruders were. Were they just tomb robbers?

Before they leave the tomb, Araklifest uses one charge of his wand of CLW.

CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Dead Suns:

From the main burial chambers, two crypts split off:

One crypt is the resting place for a number of villagers, each one entombed inside a stone sarcophagus. Unlike Kassen's tomb, none of them appear to be disturbed.
The other crypt contains the resting place for some of the raiders that
attacked Kassen so many years ago. The central sarcophagus has been disturbed, its lid lying broken on the ground in front of it. The corpse of a masked man lies beside it. The dead man is wearing gray robes and an iron mask that covers his face. The stench of rot hangs heavy around him.
When you search his body, you find a note: “The amulets are entombed with Kassen and Asar”

DC 15 Knowledge (religion):

This man is a follower of Razmir, the living god whose cults have sprung up all around the Lake Encarthan region.

"That's a Razmiran mask.. shady people, but what would they be doing in a remote village like this?"

Araklifest takes the gem and the shield from the revealed hiding place.

Dead Suns:

The gem is a deep blue. The shield is in excelent condition.

Dead Suns:

With the undead horror defeated, you gather up Roldare and Dimira back to Kassen.
Roldare loosses much of his nervousness with the return of his sister. He never lets go of her hand troughout the journey.
The journey itself is somber and uneventful.

When you return, an anxious crowd gathers. Knowing there is not much he can do against the spread of rumors, the mayor asks for a report right there in the village square.
Upon hearing of so many dead, the crowds anticipation quickly turns to horror when they find out what has happened. The mayor takes the light of the everflame from you in the lantern.
The news quickly spreads throughout town and the harvest celebration turns melancholy. The folk do not blame the you for what happened, and most are rather grateful that this new menace is ended. The grand feast is still held, but it is not the same as it was in previous years. This year, many are drinking to help forget that they have lost friends and loved ones. Plans are made to return to the crypt and bury the slain townsfolk

Unless there is anything else you would like to do or know, we are done. I'll make chronicles tonight.
