WhtKnt, a quick change, can Patrick have a taser along with the side arm instead of replacing it. the side arm is a sig 226, navel edition, which will fit a silencer, is a silencer available?

I was double checking gear/profile prior to posting and moving forward, and realized I had a couple more questions, and needed to resolve the purchases better.

And how many of each of these were they willing to furnish? Smoke grenades x2 are already standard in the kit (as I go back over the kit again). The darts are normally purchased individually.

I listed extra above, just in case. Our briefing gave us no concept on how many civilians we'll be seeing so....

Edit - I'm not sure I did this right given licensing, but for the moment, I'm going to assume that the Agency or US Military has provided those ... If I have erred, I'm more than willing to adjust.

Am also rejigging some of Kolya's equipment picks (based on how I'm building his character and his modus operandi)

Will likely forego the Skorpion machine pistol in favour for a handgun that can be carried without attracting obvious suspicion (thinking Makarov Pistol (effectively a Walther PPK) - c/w Concealed Carry shoulder holster.

Also ditching the machete and will carry a straight razor.

Like Sariel, Kolya will forgo wearing the military fatigues in favour of seasonal gear.

Also do we have any local currency on us??

You are provided with several hundred Euro apiece. No problem on the equipment jiggering. The Agency can provide licensed equipment. Beyond the grenades provided in the kit, they can provide as many as you can afford. They will grant you 10 darts to go with the gun at no cost, but more than that, you must purchase.


One last question ... I don't see anything about FCB, as I think that's a Pathfinderization. IF they're allowed, I think I'll put them into skill points, and see what my encumbrance looks like ...

It occurs to me... none of us have any face skills, so I'm 90% likely to pick up that Ghillie suit if my encumbrance will allow it.

Oof. I'm already in heavy load at 110 lbs, and counting. (The big gun is 35 lbs by itself. O.o)

Yes, FCB is strictly Pathfinder.


I apologize, It appears I'm less ready to roll out than I thought, I should have done the weight assessment earlier. I'm going to have to strip down on what I'm carrying, and most likely will drop down to the HK PSG1, and save 19 lbs there ... And the ammo weight as well.

~140/150 lbs, just ... won't do. And that's with rounding, and without the weight of tranq darts, as there's no weight listed.

How much information did our briefing include, like terrain, square miles of the Barovia, language of locals, etc?

Languages of the locals is a dialect of German. Terrain is mostly wooded mountains, and square mileage is roughly 4 sq. miles. To the best of our ability to determine, Barovia has one town, also called Barovia, and a castle where the lord resides. Weight of the darts is roughly .5 lbs. for 5 darts.


Adjustments made. Still 128/150, but it's realistically the best I can do.
