Glad you think so, because the only thing Pim is successfully doing right now is providing a flank for Lionel.
To make matters worse, it has all-around vision, so you don't even do that. :P

Chronicles are HERE! Kailun: please post the requested information and I will add your chronicle to the folder!
Everyone else, please let me know if you're leveling and your Perception/Initiative mods changed. You can also roll a new Day Job if you have one.

I did not level up, but I will roll my day job.
Profession(Burglar): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
The Maiden will spend 1 gp on rope.

As a side note, the east coast of the USA got hit with a major snowstorm. I live near Boston and we missed the brunt of it, but my family in New York got a ton of snow. So if you don't hear from folks for a few days you know why.
| GMTrex |
My mother in DC got 40 inches of snow in the same storm, lol.
I've added Kailun's chronicle to the folder and updated the Maiden's (I marked the wrong quantity of gold).

Eveline leveled up to 3. She took a level of paladin off Sarenrae.
She also has 1.5k gold pieces burning her pockets. I wanted to get a +1 weapon, but previous purchases made her balance lower than I hoped. Save money for later? In the mean time, she'll buy two oils of magic weapon.

Can I recommend Oils of Bless Weapon instead? They cost 100gp, not 50gp, but they still enable you to strike evil incorporeal creatures, *and* have the added benefit of counting as Good-aligned for the purposes of bypassing DR, *and* automatically confirming crits against evil creatures :-)

I'll give folks a chance to level up and will start Part II tomorrow.

Right, as it turns out, I finally got to keep track of my purchases and it turns out I have enough money for a +1 weapon, which would be the first thing to buy.
I'm otherwise ready to go, I'm ready!

Got fever, post frequency reduced.
Sorry to hear it, hope you feel better soon!

2 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 4 + 4 = 19 / 6 = 3.167 = APL 3 = High Tier with 4 player adjustment, same as last time.

Actually oils of bless weapon cost 50 gp just like every other potion or oil. It used to cost 100 gp, back in D&D 3.5, where the paladin's caster level was equal to one half of the character level opposed to PFRPG's level minus three.
I'm guessing I'll pick two oils of magic weapon and two oils of bless weapon. Can't have too much good stuff.
Initial sum: 1574 gp
Sold: Mwk chain shirt (125 gp)
Subtotal: 1699 gp
Bought: 2x oils of magic weapon, 2x oils of bless weapon = 200 gp
Total: 1499 gp

I respectfully disagree - potions and scrolls are at minimum caster levels / casting stats; a level 4 paladin has zero level 1 spell slots - they only gain one at level 5 (which is CL 2)...?
I realise this is a grey area. I pay 100gp, but I acknowledge the right of others to disagree, and pay 50gp :-)

Apologies, everyone. I have had an extremely draining day at work and I do not have energy for a (big, plot-develop-y) post this evening. I will get one up tomorrow. Thanks for your patience.

I'm going to explain this then. :)
A 4th level paladin couldn't make an oil of bless weapon, but the reason is not because he/she might not have the available spell slot but because the Brew Potion feat requires a caster level of three. Thus at earliest a sixth level paladin could brew a potion.
Why isn't it always a CL 3rd potion then? The feat itself demands it, so every potion should be CL 3rd minimum. But the Brew Potion feat says thusly (emphasis mine):
You can create a potion of any 3rd-level or lower spell that you know and that targets one or more creatures or objects. Brewing a potion takes 2 hours if its base price is 250 gp or less, otherwise brewing a potion takes 1 day for each 1,000 gp in its base price. When you create a potion, you set the caster level, which must be sufficient to cast the spell in question and no higher than your own level. To brew a potion, you must use up raw materials costing one half this base price.
When you create a potion, you make any choices that you would normally make when casting the spell. Whoever drinks the potion is the target of the spell.
So the paladin brewer can pick any CL from 1 to 3. To create the cheapest option, he/she'll opt to make a CL 1st oil of bless weapon, which in turn has the market price of 50 gp.

EDIT: I don't know when the 50gp price came onto the market, but the 100gp variation was still true in the early days of PFS - there is at least one season 1 PFS scenario that has Oil of Bless Weapon (100gp) on it.

Season 0 of Pathfinder Society was a beta run of the organized play, and since it was organized before PFRPG was even published, it used D&D 3.5

Well, it certainly wouldn't be the first (or last) scenario to hold big mistakes. See Among the Dead's chronicle. Nice title, there, right? "Among the Living". And there have been items missing from time to time.

Whoops! I forgot I could move on this map, and I said I'm moving to the Maiden's right side. I think the beastie appeared from outside my threatened area, since it's burrowing and stuff, but if I looked tastier, I'd take the hit since I didn't move.

Kailun: 1d20 ⇒ 19
New chronicles are HERE! Note that the Chronicle is three separate chronicles, with particular goodies on #2 and #3.
I'll need a couple days to prep the next scenario and you all will need a couple days to level/equip/mythicize your characters. Let's plan tentatively on getting started over the weekend.
Please post any leveling (I know at least Kailun is), adjustments to Initiative or Perception, and new Day Job rolls. Thanks!

I'll actually request a little pause before we start the last part. As some of you may have noticed, I still struggle to come up with the energy and inspiration to formulate posts, and I believe I'd be more able to allocate my time to PbP after Easter.
Eveline won't level up to lvl 4. And I'll use the default settings for mythic things (presented in the chronicles); you really don't need to learn the whole mythic rules to be extraordinary.
Mythic Maiden of Copper
|
Alright, I made a Mythic Alias for this character. She did not level up, but her Initiative is now +8 and a Perception of 9.
| GMTrex |
Indeed! Fortunately, Core makes everything on your chronicles legal. Otherwise Part III would be a bloodbath and probable TPK.
It might still be. :)
| GMTrex |
Everyone please check in and let me know you are ready to go! Make sure your stat line reflects your mythic status. We'll get started as soon as everyone's ready.

Well, that was a little quicker than I expected, once I figured out how to get Hero Lab to add the mythic tiers. I'm not sure I was as creative with the mythic stuff as I could have been, but he'll be an effective archer and will smite everything he comes across.
I'll just use this alias.
