All this these purely OOC posts in the gameplay thread are giving me anxiety.
In any case, a pincer maneuvre sounds fine to me. Niklos can go with Edda and Marinda opposite the paladin duo, so there'll be something in between the casters and whatever is in the room. Also, that'll give me a chance to get into a flanking position, hopefully.

Edda Winterclaw |

Wait! Didn't Marinda already cast Protection from Energy on us? Or did it lapse?

Edda Winterclaw |

OK! Then yes...let's drink those potions before we enter!

Edda Winterclaw |

I'd love the boots, but since I can fly that's a bit redundant IMHO.
However...as the daughter of a Pirate I would take the Folding Boat if I may, as well as an equal share in the coinage!
And as the only arcane spellcaster...the Ring of Wizardry!
=)
+1 potion of CSW
None of the scrolls or wand effects are in a Witch's spell list. So take what you guys want/can use and I will take the remainder and use them with Use Magic Device if I need to do so, or sell them.

Niklos Voski |

I'm not sure the specifics of who gets what are all that important at this point in the adventure, but just in case it matters, I'll swap my boots for the teleporting ones. There's not much else in there Niklos could use, in all honesty.
@GM Sappy: What can we roll to figure out how the kapenia works? Knowledge (arcana)?

GM Sappy |

I will show you how it works once it's restored, it should be apparent and if not Edda's spell was high enough to identify it.
And indeed, there are no more challenges that will require those items, but this is your time to be Scrooge McDuck with a dragon's hoard.

Edda Winterclaw |

Well..I'll take anything nobody else wants that I can carry and isn't nailed down!
=) Pirate's daughter. Remember?
The +1 Kurkri is a nice extra magical weapon if nothing else.
I guess we need to discuss if this is it then?
Do we (and/or the GM) want to continue?
Make new characters? Start a new game?
I'm up for maintaining this group...either keep playing what we have or start something new?
I would love to try one of the newer APs...or even do another stand alone game?
Pathfinder Second Edition is coming out soon this summer too. We could try something with that?

Niklos Voski |

Well, Niklos is ready to leave as soon as everyone else is—and everyone is carrying as much treasure as they possibly can!

+2! Unfortunately, rogues don't have martial weapon proficiency. :P

I'd be open to a new game with new characters, depending on how GM Sappy is feeling—I understand if he wants to take a break, or open his next game for recruitment. There'll be a slot to fill in my PbP schedule, in any case, so I wouldn't mind re-applying.

APs aren't really suited for PbP, in my experience—they just take too damn long to ever play to completion in this format, so most campaigns fizzle out sooner or later. That's very unsatisfying, not being able to finish a story. However, another module or some other short adventure would be ideal.
The playtest already destroyed any interest I might have had in PF2, so I'd rather not go in that direction.

GM Sappy |

Yes, the module is essentially finished: you just need to go home and then it's done, and I don't know which other module to follow this up with (it's a shame that Crystal Frasier didn't write her planned sequel, where Brambleson escaped to Golarion to wreak havoc).
In the next month I'll be quite busy, so for now I'll stick with the games I'm already playing or running, and in the future I believe I may give other systems a go, most likely Numenera.
But when I go back to Pathfinder (and I know I will) I'll surely give you a call!

Edda Winterclaw |

Agreed. Its been fun...but weird! (That's good too!)

Niklos Voski |

Yes, definitely a primo adventure in terms of writing, and expertly run, as well. Cheers!
I'm not necessarily in the mood to write a long epilogue for Niklos, but he's completely serious about buying that boat with Edda—assuming she's willing to take him on as her first mate. Find a few more scallywags in Riddleport, and sail south in search of plunder. Sound like a plan, cousin? ;P

GM Sappy |

I'm really glad that you enjoyed it: you've been an excellent group, and I've enjoyed tremendously running this module for you! As a first foray into PbP, I couldn't have asked for anything better.
For the kapenia, you'll just need to wish to return home when near the telescope and it will carry you. I'll write a bit of an epilogue tomorrow.

Why buy a boat? We have the folding boat I grabbed! I think we'll name her...'Harrow's Wrath' or 'Kapenia Dancer!'
