I will have to get back to this tonight after I consult my character progression chart I made a while back.
Yay! Unsurprisingly, I'm picking up another level of Unchained Rogue:
- +1 to Dexterity
- +9 HP (6 + 2 Con + 1 FC + 1 Toughness)
- 12 adventure skill points (8 + 3 Int + 1 from being human) and 2 background skill points, allocated as follows: +1 Acrobatics, +2 Climb, +1 Disable Device, +1 Escape Artist, +2 Intimidate, +1 Knowledge (history), +2 Perception, +2 Sense Motive, +1 Sleight of Hand, +1 Stealth
- +1 to BAB (whoo, first iterative attack!)
- +1 to Reflex saves
- Rogue Talent: Charmer (rerolls on Diplomacy checks 2/day)
The following bonuses are gained from the Automatic Bonus Progression rules at 8th level:
- Armor attunement +1/+1: Can attune with both a suit of armor and a shield at +1 enchantment bonus. Niklos doesn't use a shield, so this doesn't really do anything for me, sadly. :/
- Resistance +2: +2 resistance bonus on all saving throws
- Toughening +1: +1 enhancement bonus to natural armor
- Weapon attunement +1/+1: Can attune with two weapons at +1 enchantment bonus. Could I use this to enchant a harrow deck? That would be cool.
In addition, Niklos gains the following ability that I think the GM should know of:
Cheat Fate (Ex): At 8th level, once per day, the Sczarni swindler can reroll any one d20 roll she has just made before the GM has revealed the result. She must take the result of the second roll, even if it is worse.
That might be a bit inconvenient in PbP, at least when it comes to saves. Just be aware that I might want to reroll any catastrophic failures on that front.
Also, for some reason, I seem to have put down my Disable Device score as being three ranks higher than it actually was. Anyone have any idea why that might be? I can't recall if that is an actual bonus or what. :P

- +6 skill points (+3 stealth, +1 Know:Planes+Arcana, +1 Spellcraft)

Weapon Attunement
From my character creation:
You can attune to the Harrow deck, sure, as far as I'm concerned the Deadly Dealer allows you to treat it like a weapon. You can also enchant it with special abilities like any other weapon.
I would also like to 'Attune' my claws...when I grow them. Is that ok? Or can I just say my 'Natural Attacks.'(Claws and Bite)
So, are Basil and Gisele having trouble leveling up, or...?

@GM Sappy: I figured it out: goggles of minute seeing. With that in mind, I'd like to put the rank I put into Disable Device into Knowledge (engineering) instead. Is that okay with you?
Also, just to make sure, can we attune to harrow cards and natural weapons?
I've had Gisele's harrow deck attuned since dat 1, but i cannot remember if thats base or because of weird magus rules.

It's mostly just my focus. Until I get my sugars down into human ranges my ability to think with clarity and remember stuff gets fuzzy. I might forget to post every once and a while. Just poke me if it seems I'm missing.
@Niklos: Good spot. Sure, retrain.
And yes, you can attune decks if you can use them as weapons (Dealdy Dealer-like) and natural weapons. Since you are level 8, there is no reason not to attune two weapons, but next level you'll have to choose between two +1 or one +2
Okey-dokey! In that case, I'll be making my harrow cards corrosive.
Edit: No, wait. That's not how it works, is it? They'll just be +1, unless we find cards that are already enchanted... right?

Exactly. Then, ABP would force you to lower the bonus, but I'll just allow you to stack them (corrosive cards attuned to +1 become +1 corrosive cards)
So should my sword be a +1 keen rapier, then? I've been going by RAW until now.
My bad, that was a house rule that I tried in another game of mine and thought "Oh, it works pretty nice, I'll add it to Heart of the Cards"... except that I didn't tell you. Ops.

I agree that it looks easier than it actually is.
Basically, if you found a weapon or armor with a special property, you had to give up your attunement bonus. I'll let you stack them, so if you find/buy a flaming weapon, with your attunement bonus it would become a +1 flaming weapon.

Off the top of my head, there are the things you took from Marzalee's bedchambers, Eliara's scimitar and... the kisses IOU.
Sorry absense, was dealing with our only warehouse worker getting fired at work (he deserved it) then got the news of the death of a close family friend. I should hopefully catch up tonight.

@Everyone: Okay, I went through all the gameplay posts (of which there are 560!) to look for the loot...
- Hajeck's harrow deck (who has that thing, anyways?)
- some unspecified stuff from the tengus (whazzat!?)
- Rogg's pie (mostly eaten)
- Christmas presents (already divvied up between the group)
- ticket booth money and the IOUs (already divvied up)
- the glamered scimitar (what is this thing worth?)
- six pieces of lapis worth 100 gp each
- three potions of cure serious wounds (who wants some?)
- marvelous pigments (worth 2000 gp when sold)
So yeah, not a whole lot. I didn't really think we'd have a chance to sell stuff, or I would have kept closer tabs on everything. I'll try track everything from now on. Barring any objections, I think we'll liquidate everything except the potions, once we know exactly how much everything is worth. I'll grab one of the potions, and I think Basil and Gisele should have the other two.
Also, as an aside, browsing through our game so far made me realise how much fun I've had. The adventure itself is a blast, and all of you are really good roleplayers. Overall, this has definitely been one of the more pleasant gaming experiences I've had here on the forums. So, you know, good on all of you! Let's keep it going, yea? ;)
@Gisele: Sorry for your loss. Take time, if you need it.

Very well. That'll be 1200 gp, 7 sp, and 5 cp per head. I think I'll go for a quick runner's shirt, unless we want to pool our resources for something more expensive.
...and assuming that the shirt is available, of course.
