Not at all. Pact of the Tome makes you a better magic user...which is kinda what the party needs.
Pact of the Tome then it is....granted trying to pick out what's right to choose can get interesting, went with the following.
Cantrips - Druidcraft, Minor Illusion, Shillelagh
1st lvl rituals - Alarm, Floating Disk
Utility for the most part, not really powerful but beneficial in a lots of ways , mainly in distractions. Malthorn is aware his personal failing as a scout, better than the normal but not by much and far behind the best in his class. Minor Illusion and Druidcraft would allow him to distract those he needs to pass while Alarm would allow him to protect where the companions slept from unwanted intrusion unaware.

Ok went back through the post and loot is a scarce thing so far, found some items in a jewelry box in the haunted house, so far as I know all of the items in the niches in the cellar were left there. And Ismark has paid us 50EP for burying his father and escorting Ireena to Vallaki. The cleric so far has run off with the sacred bones, guessing we;ll catch up with him later perhaps.
We had 4 rings worth 25gp/ea, gave one to everybody, as they will keep it's full value and can be traded easily. Made payments for the two Inns out of the party kitty before splitting 4 ways and giving everyone 65gp

The sheet is not protected so you can update your own. Initial armor/shield/weapons was not entered with a gp value, however I did enter in the starting gold what you show available on your character sheet.
If the platinum necklace can be sold in town then everyone will have approximately 190gp more.
On a side note, do we want to maintain a group kitty for general needs, (Inns, scrolls, potions, wands ect) or continue as I did today, I pick a fairly close but even number which left 16gp 9sp in the kitty?

Niles just checking, is this a change for this AP? the PHB states EP are .5 gp or 1 gp = 2 ep. And platinum are used above gp.
Just making sure accounting is reflected correctly on the loot sheet. Means either the Inn is a bit high priced and Ismark paid us well (250gp) or the Inn is much more moderately priced and we got way less for escort services (25gp)

I do most (90%) of my posting from work and now the paizo.com site is being blocked. This means that I'll only be able to post from my phone or from home. So my posting rate will decrease dramatically for the foreseeable future unless I can figure out some workaround or convince the new IT person to unblock paizo for me. I'd like to keep this game going, albeit at a slower pace. However, I am currently GMing a fairly long running Iron Gods game and if this one gets in the way of that one I'll be forced to drop this one. I hope you guys understand and I'll do my utmost to keep up an acceptable pace.

A Happy New Year to you all! I need to offer a heartfelt apology to everyone for disappearing like I did. It was an amalgamation of things that led to it. A rough finals season, traveling, holidays, family drama, my older brother's wedding, and a shocking and much too young death of a family friend. These are just excuses, but ones I offer with a plea for forgiveness over my absence. I certainly want to keep playing in all of my games and plan to catch up as best I can now that I am back in my apartment.

Sorry I meant to comment then the kids needed something and I forgot. Anyway my preference would be to ask reliable posters in any existing games first then open it up for general recruitment second.
Between you and Fangdragon, Niles that accounts for 3 of my 4 long term commitments.you would know more of the player pool within those games and availability /desire to add another to their existing commitments, that said I welcome any of them to join us..
