Before we get caught up in some other adventures, why don't we finish exploring the main area of the map? Get that one area back at the River Crossing? Then we can go find out why everybody wants us to meet them at Oleg's. Seems like everybody and his brother was trying to go to Oleg's.
Dris heaves a big sigh. Its kinda creepy going everywhere with 2 dead bodies. Oh, I mean 1 dead body. Maybe if we put a party hat on Norn it would be a little less weird. She tries prestidigitating Norn's helm into a purple party cone hat with streamers. Nooooo. That's really not any better. Note to self... Do not dress undead minions in purple. It brings out the grey in their skin.

GM Nel |

Hearing little dissent, we will go west.
After a day's ride through the wilderness, the group sees a pair of hills ahead. A dense patch of raspberry-like berries grows in a long, thin valley between the two low hills here. Much of the thorny thicket is draped in the white gossamer silk of spider webs. The best of the berries seem to lie at the heart of the thicket, but harvesting must be done slowly to avoid being lacerated by the thousands of thorns.

Mornaura |

"Oh, look at the thorns! Those fangberries really don't like to be picked... " the witch says in astonishment.
Survival: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30
Uh, a natural 20. :) So... is that enough to collect some without bleeding to death, or just to know it's not an easy task...? ^^

![]() |

At first Dris is very excited about the berries, but the first time she gets scratched she'll step back.
Yes, I'll stay here and guard with Ionnia. She'll cast mage armor on herself and Purrcy.

GM Nel |

Mornaura knows how to navigate around the maze of thorns, and is able to get to the center where the juicier ones are, helping Kaeso along to help her. On the way, she is able to craft a suitable basket from dried vines and pieces of the less thorny bushes.
With the two of them, the berry picking in done in an hour.
While Kaeso's armor seems to be thick enough for the thorns not to penetrate in Mornaura does take a bit of damage from time to time.

Kaeso and Mornaura eventually emerge from the bushes, with a stash of fangberries in their arms. Definitely enough for Bokken's needs! (At least everyone hopes so...)

![]() |

Using a thick piece of leather to help grasp the bushes, Dris will take a handful of cuttings of the thorny vines.
I can plant these around the outside of Oleg's fort. If its ever attacked again-- Entangle will make them into a very nice defensive barrier. And in the meantime, berries!
Knowledge Nature: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22
(This is to take appropriate cuttings, maintain them, and root them properly when the time comes.)

Well, Dris muses, munching on berries from the top of the baskets, if everyone's all healed up, where to next?
As you guys know, I wanted to go get the unicorn, and then take him and Norn to Erastil's temple pool. A huge longshot that anything would happen, but I wanted to try. But... that's kinda out of our way.
She snags a couple more berries to snack on. Or we could just head back to Oleg's and see if Restov has sent word on helping Norn... or if we're going to have to sell everything to come up with a Raise Dead for him. We could decide at that point if we're taking Norn to Erastil's temple for Jhod to keep fresh.
And I can come back later for the Unicorn.
So whaddaya guys think? Temple or Oleg's first?

![]() |

Well, since nobody seems to mind, shall we go get the unicorn, and take him and Norn to the temple of Erastil?
Most direct route: Directly west to unicorn first. If there are no disruptions then to temple of Erastil in a straight line (Statue hex, boggard hex, temple hex)

GM Nel |

Over the course of a day, the group travels through the forest to find where the unicorn lies. As before, the body seems to not have decayed, and seems as majestic as the first day the group saw it.
With Kaeso's help the unicorn is loaded unto Ionnia's wagon, and the group heads for the temple of Erastil. Late into the afternoon, just in time for supper, the group arrives at the temple. There Jhod has a cooking fire going, although it is evident that he is cooking for one. Jhod is not evidently in sight though.

![]() |

Dris whispers Purrcy, could you scout along the edges to make sure everything's ok? I upped Purrcy's intelligence this level so that he understands common now.
Then, more loudly, Hallooo! Jhod? Are you here? It's us! The Heroes! Plus or minus a couple.

GM Nel |

After a few seconds, Jhod's head pops up from up at the top of the temple stairs. "Ahoy there! Hah! You never know who wanders in these woods. I don't want to be anyone's meal, or be burglared, for that mater. No siree! But if it is you guys that is very nice. Nice indeed-aroo! Come, I prepared some strew for me, but I got some cured meats up in the temple I can bring down, adding meat to a stew is no trouble at all."
I upped Purrcy's intelligence this level so that he understands common now.
He needs a point in Linguistics too to get the language, but otherwise cool with that.

![]() |

Well met! We have some good news! And some not-so-good news. We defeated the Stag Lord! So bandit activity in the area should drop off... by a lot. Your stews should be a lot safer now!
And I'd really welcome some stew. Anything besides boar meat. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm getting a little tired of bacon. Purrcy yowls his agreement.
Between hungry bites she continues,And then... we found a dead unicorn. Somebody killed it and took its horn, and then left its area... fouled. Do you have any idea who might have done such a thing?
Even worse news; Norn died in our struggle with the Stag Lord. I really miss the big lug. I was hoping You and Erastil and... that holy swimming hole... might be able to raise Norn and the Unicorn. What do you think? For one of his devout followers, and a sacred creature of the wild, do you think Erastil might cough up a special blessing?

Lady Ionnia Orlovsky |

"Hi Jhod' She says as she smiles and flirts.
"oh you have stew sounds excellent, I wish we had bread to, but when adventuring" She giggles and looks about."Any place to pull our lovely selves in from the road. I would hate to leave our stuff here as well as the preserved corpse of our friend Norn here exposed"

GM Nel |

Jhod does have noticeable grief on his face after Dris points out the corpses. "Oh dear. Not very good omen, this unicorn. I am also very saddened by the passing of your friend, especially being one of the blessed of Erastil."
"Honestly, Erastil is very much a god that respects the cycle of life and death. Things live and things die. But this unicorn... there is something vile going on if what you say is true. As for its body, it seems probably Erastil himself is preserving his corpse, but I do not know for what purpose. We could attempt to Raise him, I suppose. But that is probably magic beyond our means right now. Maybe we can attempt to speak with dead on him? He may be able to tell us more about what happened to him before he died?"
"The same is to be said of your friend. However, his death was not in vain, or surrounded by evil, but simply death in the line of duty. Whether or not Erastil looks favorably on Raising Norn is a bit of a mystery to me right now. I know it may seem harsh to hear for some of you, but such is the way of the lands."
"I doubt these waters will be of much help, I have found while their regenerative magic is quite miraculous, you can only receive Erastil's grace from them every few days."
To Ionnia he says {b]"I have taken to cleaning up and refitting the cave up the stairs into some livable space. I have contacted my superiors in Brevoy for some help restoring this temple, but of course it will take months for laborers and pilgrims to come help. You are all welcome to stay up with me, there is plenty of space, although no luxury."

![]() |

Drispeera was about to say something snarky about Erastil, and then held back. Did you suggest a Speak with Dead?. That's a great idea. Are you or Ionnia capable of casting that spell? It would be good to know who would attack and desecrate a unicorn.
We are determined to Raise Norn, and perhaps the unicorn if we are able to at some point. But could you keep Norn and the Unicorn safe here and um, you know, "Fresh," until we can come back with the right spell stuff? Actually, the magic horsey seems to be able to keep himself fresh. So just Norn.

GM Nel |

"Sadly, speak with dead is a bit over the level of power Erastil grants me, sweets. But it's not an expensive scroll if you want Oleg to get one. As for your friend..."
Jhod walks over to the pool and from the water pulls out a whole leg of ham. "I killed this boar about 6 days ago. As you can see, the meat is good as new. Seems Erastil's blessing flows in this waters, and although not extremely powerful, it is strong enough to cure minor wounds and, as it seems, preserve the dead."

![]() |

It feels weird putting Norn underwater, almost like we're drowning him. But if it will keep him, you know, ready, until we can figure out how to raise him, that's cool. And I guess Uni will be safe here too, until we can get a speak with dead scroll.
So shall we eat, and rest up, and head to Oleg's in the morning? We can see what Restov has to say about a scroll for Norn, deliver the berries, collect some rewards, and place our spell orders. Anything else we need to do before heading back?
Dris holds up a hand to politely refuse any further helping of boar meat stew. Still finishing off the big guy from before. But thanks.

Kaeso the Human Fighter |

After eating a prodigious amount of stew, Kaeso pulls Jhod aside discreetly, and says "Um, I don't know how to say this, but could you teach me a bit about Erastil? She was Mom's god, and she meant to teach me, but then she passed, and Dad didn't care too much about such things." Perhaps I can help finish Norn's work, should he not be raised. . .
I miss Bingo.

GM Nel |

To Kaeso, "Sure thing, son. Old Deadeye is old but wise, and welcomes everyone willing to respect and revere nature and the old ways."
Animals held in high esteem by Old Deadeye include elk, deer, and other hoofed creatures. Those who please Erastil are often rewarded by increased yields, both from farm and field, while earning his disfavor can lead to damaged or ruined crops and poor hunting. Erastil's herald is known as the Grim White Stag, who appears as a gigantic white stag with branches in place of its antlers, and vines wrapping around its legs.
Depictions of Erastil are commonplace in the homes of his followers. Such images usually portray the Ulfen deity as either an aged human with the bow and gear of a trapper, or as an elk-headed humanoid. These depictions often show Old Deadeye holding fast against various beasts and animals of the wilds. In times of need, Erastil has also been known to appear to lost hunters in the form of a stag.
Jhod and Kaeso chat the night away, giving way eventually for a very fair and clear morning. Birds are singing away, and the land just seems calmer now without the Stag Lord roaming the lands.

![]() |

Dris gazes fondly into the fountain. Don't worry you brave beautiful creature, I'm coming back for you. And you too, Norn.
So gang, are we off to Oleg's?
I miss Bingo too. I wonder if he'd come back and make occasional cameos.

Mornaura |

"Mhm. As much I appreciate that Erastil keeps Norn's and the poor magical beast's remains safe, I must admit I'm glad we're leaving this place... I'm feeling a bit uneasy under his vigilant gaze. Anyway, let's go find out what Kresten has achieved for us. I hope we get our friend back in a few days."

GM Nel |

Everone packs up their gear in the morning, and gives their final respects to Norn. The day begins with a mild somber tone, but as the group clears out of the forest and into the plains outside Oleg's, spirits are lifted even if just for a moment. The plains are a welcome sight, especially for Ionnia's wagon.
Later in the day, off in the distance, Oleg's outpost is finally in sight. Although the structure looks the same, it seems to be bustling with activity. It looks like a new stable was built outside the outpost, and even that is filled to the brim with horses and mules. As the party gets closer, you see Mikmek jumping up and down at the top of the palisade, trying to get seen. "HHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYY"
As the group approaches, a small crowd gathers at the gates. Oleg and Svetlana are both outside and begin a cheer that spreads to every single person in the outpost. Applause and whistles muffles every other sound. Oleg approaches the group, and reaches out his arms to help down the ladies.
"Friends! Thank you for all you have done for us. I heard victory has taken its toll on all of us, but you have victory none the less! Please, let's go inside, and let me take your horses. Kresten just arrived this morning as well from Restov, bearing news."
The group is ushered inside among the crowds. It looks to be local farmers and trappers, as well as a pretty large contingent of guards and soldiers. Oleg gets the group into the main house where Kresten sits.
"Aha! There you are, finally." Kresten gets up, shakes Kaeso's hand and bows to the ladies. "Please, sit, we have much to discuss."
The dining table inside has been set for around 10 people. Attending the meeting are Kresten, Oleg, and yourselves. However, there are a few more familiar faces currently standing around the edge of the room. Svetlana is here, looking much better than just a few days ago at the Stag Lord's Fort. Behind her, looks like Mikmek sneaked in through a window in the back, and is listening in enthusiastically. Hiding under some of the shadows in the hallway leading to the kitchen, you spot Akiros, who upon being noticed simply nods his head in acknowledgement.
And to your surprise, Bingo steps out of the kitchen munching on a sausage. He looks up at the group. "Agh! About time ye'll show'd up! Tir'd of prancin' around the forests, finally?" Bingo takes a seat at the table, and props up his boots on it. "And yes, the fort is safe. Kresten left a group'o guards down d'ere."
Kresten smiles, then gives out a very large piece of parchemt to Kaeso. "For you, lads and ladies. Courtesy of Restov."
Note added to flickr for everyone to read. Pausing meeting for any RP opportunities up to now, I know that was a lot.

![]() |

Upon arriving at Oleg's Dris goes around and hugs all the friendly faces like Svetlana, Bingo, and even MikMek. She is a little astonished by all the genuinely warm greetings.
She'll whisper to Purrcy, What do you think about all this? I am used to victory parties to celebrate vanquishing our foes. And I am used to people being nice to me to curry favor with my family. And I am used to men being nice to me for well, the usual. But I have never had so many people actually happy to see me. Purrcy just yowls in response.
Yes, I'm sure they'll thank us with food. Very soon. And to Ionnia she'll say, I feel a big shopping trip coming on!
Caught up in the exuberance, she'll even hug grumpy Oleg, stoic Kresten, and a perhaps caught-off-guard Akiros.
When Kresten presents the Official Notice from Restov, Dris' jaw drops and she's just stunned. Then a wide grin spreads across her face. I always knew this would happen someday. I just didn't know it would be this soon.

GM Nel |

Kresten continues "While the southern portion of the nation of Brevoy, Rostland, could send its own official agents south to attempt such colonization, such an act would cause unwanted repercussions for the delicate political situation in Brevoy. Rostland wants a safe southern border and an ally it can count on to back it up if things go badly—but it doesn’t want to antagonize its northern counterpart Issia by appearing to make blatant land grabs to expand their power."
"Rostland will support your colonization efforts, and be mostly hands-off. Not only do they issue you the charter, but they have sent a shipment of gold, tools, craftsmen, laborers and colonists eager to start a new life. You... met most of them outside. Not only that, but they have also assigned me here, to lead a small militia that will be under your command. Your buddy Akiros was able to talk his way into getting assigned here, under my supervision, as an "assett" due to his knowledge of the area and his help against the Stag Lord."
The party receives 50 build points as their initial investment from Restov
"Now the bad news; Rostland still does not want to meddle in what happens in the south. Because of that, no help was offered in regards to your friend Norn. I'd be happy to send a courier to fetch a cleric of great renown that will be able to restore him to life, but it would be at your own cost. The lands here are savage guys, and lives WILL be lost. At some point or another."
After a little time to process the message, Akiros jumps in. "Well, so now you know, we are now to found a new kingdom. The only strategic areas I know about are: Oleg's trading post, The temple of the Elk, and the Stag Lord's old fort. Oleg's is up at the north border, if we were to found a city here we could easily convert this trading post into a Shop, Stable or Watchtower. If we want to go a little more west, the Temple of the Elk would be a great foundation for a Temple. It would be a lot easier to restore it than to build a Temple from the ground up. Finally, the Stag Lord was a drunk, but not a fool. He chose that location on purpose, since it is against a defensible hill, near plentiful sources of water, fishing and trade, and connected to the central plains which we could easily convert into farms. We could re-fit the fortress into a Castle in the future, or if needed we could raze all the structures there to the ground and begin anew. Kinda like a cleansing of sorts. A new era in the Greenbelt."
After Akiros concludes, Kresten follows "Well we got a lot to do, so let us begin. Just so you know, your cohorts to the east and west have also been very successful on their explorations of their respective sections of the River Kingdoms. Your neighbors to the west even got a charter from Restov as well I am told."

Welcome back everybody! Happy grading for Kaeso, and happy computing for GM Nel and Ionnia.
Drispeera listens attentively to every word Kesten says.
Wow! Just....Wow!
But at the news about Norn, her expression saddens.
I know many of you were hoping he would come back and lead us with his calm and wisdom. Although, just yesterday, we mostly just thought he would lead us in further advenuture. Now there's the beginning of a new land. Until Norn returns, I would like to offer myself as leader.
Seeing some sour faces among her compatriots, Dris takes a deep breath and continues, I know many of you have no reason to believe in me that way. But I do have many good qualities for leadership. I was raised as a noble, in a house that was always vying for political position. My siblings were always competing with each other to be the most prominent.
This helped me develop a lot of skills. I am very good at navigating negotiations. I was not the strongest of my siblings. I was not the smartest. What I exel in-- is listening to people, caring about them, and becoming their friend.
She gives a little smile, I hope you will consider granting me the honor of leading you into becoming a strong, properous, and fair nation.

Over the next several days, anyone watching will notice a new side of Dris. She will put her hair up in a more dignified coif, and wear attractive, but simple, modest dresses.
She will spend her nights reading every book she can borrow on economics and military strategy and government.
In the days she will go and speak to the prospective colonists, asking them about their skills, their hopes for the new land, and listening to their concerns. She will carefully take notes in a notebook about each person's hopes and concerns and family members names. The next time she speaks with that person, she will (accurately) remember their name and ask them about their lame horse or their daughter's cough. She will bring remedies if she can.
Taking 10 with all Diplomacy checks: 23

The next time she speaks with her compatriots, Dris will announce with a smile. I've been reading the strangest, most fascinating thing. Are you familiar with the writings of Galtan philosophers Darl Jubannich and Hosetter? At first I thought they were almost insane. They go on and on about everyone being equal, and have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. And *then* the Galtans tried to make a government based on it. They made a real mess of things.
But the *Andorans* seemed to do pretty well. A representative government, with elections, who ever heard of such a thing? But I would like to give it a try. I propose that I run things for now. We'll Raise Norn. And, if Norn or anybody else would like to be leader, then in a little while we can have an election. What do you guys think?
TLDR Dris is leader for now, and when Norn is back we have an election. (IF Norn wants to be Leader)

Lady Ionnia Orlovsky |

Ionnia over this time begins helping the effort cooking, tending to the sick, singing and preaching.She often holds services in a tent offering advice, healing and simple song.

" Elections, what strange things do you read about at night Dris. I thought you were reading the writings of some romantic poet or elven philosopher." She than smiled.
"How about we think on that and see if it can work, I mean with the examples you have stated we have Galt and Andor. One is constantly unstable and the other is well Andor" She says as she sits eating a simple stew as she takes a little time for her self

Well, I was reading this one book about vampires who sparkle in the sun. It was fun, but really kind of silly, Dris admits sheepishly.
But mostly I was reading these.She indicates a large pile of books about economics, government, laws, city design, architecture, and even agriculture. It is clear she hasn't been sleeping much.
Watching Ionnia's gentle way of tending people, she smiles. You are so good with them. They really appreciate you. You would be a great Councilor.
Dris continues her own efforts of trying to personally introduce herself to every colonist, craftsperson, militiaman, etc. When she returns to her room, she will continue to make notes about what each future citizen's concerns and aspirations are. If its possible to help them buy purchasing a small item like a new tool, or thread, or pair of shoes, she will buy the item from Oleg and gift it to them. She'll let small children ride Purrcy-- much to his dismay.
Continuing her train of thought quietly with Ionnia (and any of the party members who want to jump in,) Honestly, I would rather have Oleg or Svetlana as Councilor. I'm more comfortable with them. I keep feeling like Jhod disapproves of us women being leaders and wants us to get married and pregnant and start cooking something as soon as possible. Silly, where I'm from, everyone knows that women are better leaders.
But if Svetlana is Councilor, than that would put Jhod as Diplomat. And I really can't see that working, can you? Or switching with Oleg, Jhod would probably be an honest enough bookkeeper. But I don't think he has the disposition to craft out negotiations with the Merchants guilds. -sigh-
And getting back to the representative government idea...
This is all FLUFF. We'd keep the same mechanics from the rules. Any new titles, like Senator, would have no mechanical impact, but might be nice to place people in when we demote them. For example, when Norn gets back-- somebody is gonna get bumped out of a job.
One detail, up to GM Nel, is there is an alternative "Republican Government" with very minor kingdom stat adjustments.
See the diagram in this book? I believe this would work really well.
There's the elected leader, and her proxy (Heir=Vice-President)
Then there's a body of Experts, Guild Leaders, Generals, and Advisors. (All the Leaders) We could call it the House of Maesters or Councillors. They advise the leader within their field of expertise.(House of Lords)
But then there would be a second House. The People's House (House of Commons?) Every region (Hex) would have an election. Every adult (determined by race) would get to vote for a representative. This representative would take the concerns of their region to the capitol. They would also vote on any new laws.
What do you guys think? If you like it, I was thinking we'd have our first election next year. 3 days before the next Founding Day.
Didn't I tell you? As soon as we get down to the Fort, and everyone has a few days to settle in, we're going to have a Founding Day celebration. There'll be music and dancing and drinking and laughing. It will be our first Holiday! (Holidays are actually a thing in KM)

Kaeso the Human Fighter |

Kaeso is stunned by the news. He staggers for a bit, but then a grin spreads across his face. "This is so cool! Oh Dris, I don't care who leads or how you organize it--you know I'm with you--just check with Mornaura, we'll need her for sure--we'll need horses, and a guard force--and maybe we can get some land cleared and get these fields planted, maybe even get some settlers--wait till I show you what we could do with this land!" He's a bit breathless.
He startles Mornaura, Ioannia, and Drispeera with bear hugs. "Oh, I'm sorry. That did't hurt, did it?"
He walks around with a grin. "I need some beer! Who's with me?"

GM Nel |

He walks around with a grin. "I need some beer! Who's with me?"
"I thought noone would ever ask!" says Oleg with a cheer. Minutes later, drinks are flowing at the trading post.
This is a night of celebration, for on this day, Lamashan 28th, the founding of a new kingdom had begun...

Lady Ionnia Orlovsky |

Once she's debated the various positions with her friends, Dris will personally invite each leader onto the New Nation's Council. She'll say a few personal words to each of them. (Altho, not all are listed).
To Oleg, I see you as more than just a bookkeeper. I want your savvy with trade to increase the flow of money to our new nation. I'd like you to lead the Merchant's and Trade Guilds, and keep the Council up to date with any ideas to increase prosperity. Are you in?
To Mikmek, You have proven yourself to be a resourceful friend. You will be my Right Hand. I want you to travel the land and listen for all rumors of how things are going, and report directly back to Me... and the Council.
To Kesten, You will make a fine General. The men already trust you and respect you. Although, I really wish Norn was our General.
To Akiros, I'm sorry we got off on the wrong foot. I hope you realize I was just trying to sneak in, get Lady Svetlana, and get back out again without bloodshed. And then when we lost Norn, I was so... She takes a moment to compose herself. I hope we can simply start over. She gives him her most winning smile.
~~~
At the festival Dris is startled at first by Kaeso's enthusiasm. Then she grabs his arm and pulls him into a dance. Come on you big lug, dance with me! Wow, for such a muscle-bound guy, you sure are light on your feet.
Giddy with happiness, she'll try to dance with most of the gents, and even twirl the floor once with Svetlana!
For the first time in my life, I feel like I belong somewhere. People really seem to like me-- for just being me. I know they all wish Norn was their leader, but I'll do right by them. They'll see.
![]() |
After several weeks of trying to learn all she needs to learn, and get everything in the Nation started on the right foot, Dris will seek out her comrades.
I need some fresh air. Purrcy yowls his agreement. What say we go explore some of the area around here, and see if we can't find some adventure? Are you guys in?
Dris will slip a note on Mornie's door, inviting her to catch up if she can.
Ever since she's been Magister, she's been hitting the books harder than me. And... I kinda wonder if she's been avoiding me. I think she really misses Norn and is kinda upset that I... Well, hopefully she'll come around too.
Lady Ionnia Orlovsky |
Ionnia grabs her newest weapon, a weapon she has dubbed Maidens' Hammer. She consecrated the weapon with oils and water. Ionnia was gonna meet Dris,Kaeso,and Mornie and venture on. Ionnia was leaving Oparal with Svetlana and Oleg.
When meeting up she smiles and looks at her companions." Its a great day and by Shelyns' grace we will see it through" She smiles and than looks at the group."So where are we off to now?"
![]() |
Your daughter is lovely, I can see why you miss her. How old is she?
I had a thought-- did you and Jhod have a chance to go check out the graveyard, behind the Fort? Consecrate it, maybe? Mornie had a point, we don't want zombies walking around scaring our people.
I was thinking we really ought to explore the area around our capitol, maybe Keaso can pick out some good points for Watchtowers. We don't know our neighbors yet.
Kaeso the Human Fighter |
At the festival Dris is startled at first by Kaeso's enthusiasm. Then she grabs his arm and pulls him into a dance. Come on you big lug, dance with me! Wow, for such a muscle-bound guy, you sure are light on your feet.
"Well, I'm often told that I'm surprisingly light on my feet. Which, now that I think about it, isn't really a compliment!" Kaeso is delighted to dance with the fascinating and lovely Drispeera. Her appearance, her perfume, her blueness are all a bit much for him, and he starts to think un-Kaesoish thoughts. No, she'd never. . . not with me. . . Isn't she about two hundred years old?
To Ioannia: "What's the little girl's name? Well, aren't you pretty! Just like your mother. Lady Ioannia, may I have the honor of a dance with your lovely daughter?" Assuming Ioannia approves, Kaeso takes the little girl on a whirlwind around the dance floor, with lots of spins and jumps.
Lady Ionnia Orlovsky |
" I did not, though I know Jhod did. he is a very stern and devout guy" she giggles and than looks to Drispeera."Plus he blushes very easily, its almost endearing to see a man so uncomfortable around strong women"
She smiles and looks to Kaeso "Yes I do not mind is she doesn't"
" Oparal is nine winters old Dris, and she is such a wonderful girl. She is light on her feet and quick with a strike. I Think my brother has got the ideal for her to be a great Lady Knight of the realm"
GM Nel |
2 months after the foundation of the kingdom, Candlemere has grown to a modest size city of a few hundred inhabitants. North, Oleg continues to develop his trading post, and serves as a great strategic point for Candlemere to trade with Restov and the other northern nations.
News have come of a new nation also sprouting in the east. Another one of the groups chartered to conquer the Narlmarches was also given the right to rule. They have decided on the name Varnhold for their kingdom.
