Curraine will continue covering the hallway with his bow while channeling energy for the party.

Curraine's healing energy flows through the party. Haris and Falyf get in each other's way and fail to land a blow against a beetle, but both get splattered with remains when Adamus drops his hammer on another one. The remaining bud snaps around angrily, but cannot find a good target.

1 Beetle left. Everyone take actions.

In a final flurry of flying bug parts, Taurus and Falyf take down the last beetle.

After wiping off goo and bits of carapace and the occasional gland, still glowing even after the beetele's death, the group searches the room.

Among the mess in the room’s northeast corner, there is a small bundle of four half-buried trade agreements; all are written in Kelish. Haris is the only one to discover a small sack containing 200 silver pieces and a set of bronze bracers of armor +1.

Curraine lingers for a second, looking over the dead beetles, and quietly asks Gozreh, "Is this the path for me? I'm trying to do more for the good of the world but it seems to be taking a heavy toll on nature's creatures"

Sovereign Court

Taurus, Adamus, and Falyf enter the room described on their crude map as a library.

Three rounded alcoves in this chamber contain the rotting remains of scroll shelves, honeycombing from floor to ceiling. Scattered amid the compromised shelving are damaged scrolls, and a number of still-sealed scroll tubes.

After a thorough search you recover a dozen documents, and even though they are written in Kelish, they bear marks and seals indicating they are more of the trade agreements you are searching for.

Once the trade agreements are safely stowed, Taurus gathers the group and leads the way into the ominous web-filled area.

"I don't suppose any of you magic-users have a way to clear this webbing?", the barbarian asks as he looks from Adamus to Curraine to Falyf.

With a performance flare, "Yes - behold! The magic of a torch!", Haris smacks flint and steel together on a pair of torches improvised from scavenged femur bones, some hemp rope and lamp oil. Handing one to the arachnophobes in front, "Didn't any of you four bring one? Not very Pathfinder-like to go spelunking a dungeon in the dark.

Curraine belly laughs at Haris' querry Haha ha, Bro you're funny. Don't any of you hard chargers see in the dark? Then he unslings his backpack and breaks out the 3 torches he's carrying and passes them out.

Turning to Taurus, Bro-zilla, not all things that don't involve a sword are magical. But no, Gozreh hasn't provided me with the juice to get rid of spider webs.

Sovereign Court

The webs are thick and strong, but can be moved through with strength checks, cut down with weapons, or burned with fire. At the moment you can only see about 15 feet down the hall from the corridor that leads to the webbed area.

"Impressive", Taurus grunts. "Would you two mind burning up this webbing with those torches so we can move on? I did not come as well prepared."

Once the webbing is cleared the hulking barbarian will lead the way through the room.

Sovereign Court

Curraine's online character sheet doesn't list torches among his equipment. Is that sheet not accurate?

Grand Lodge

Falyf will help to burn the web, if he is given a torch.

Silver Crusade

No. I can't figure out how to catalog things on the website including money so I keep a character sheet of my own. I also have a HeroLab sheet going to boot.

Sovereign Court

Curraine, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, but please copy your current inventory to the character description on the site if you can.

Everyone else - the webs continue through the hall. I need to know who is clearing them, and how. At the moment only Falyf has declared so, which puts him alone in front. Haris has a makeshift torch, but didn't declare if he is doing so as well.

The webs burn easily under Falyf and Haris' torches, though the smoke created stings eyes and forces the occasional cough.

I hate for Adamus to waste a good roll, but the hallway is 10' wide and currently Falyf and Haris are in the front ranks. Falyf has already made his action, which leaves him in melee. Haris has yet to act, but is occupying the other melee spot. If he moves, then Taurus will be able to step in and make his attack before Adamus can close to melee. Feel free to declare another action, or use a missile weapon if you have one (I'll let you keep the attack roll in this case - just reroll damage).

Sovereign Court

As Haris backs away Taurus quickly steps up to take his place and swings his weapon at the giant spider, but the attack falls short. Falyf breaks his unlucky streak and cuts into the creature's side. From the back ranks, Adamus hurls a javelin that passes uncomfortably close between Taurus and Falyf and lodges onto the spider's back.

The spider convulses for a moment, shakes the javelin free, then skitters halfway up the wall and bites at Falyf, who dodges the attack easily.

Though his muscles still tingle from the poison, Haris seems to have suffered the worst of it.
