Taurus squints his eyes and charges the creature, landing a solid blow, causing the blazing light from the creature's eyes to sweep wildly across the room. Adamus and Falyf shield or avert their eyes, but Haris gets both beams full in the face, finding himself blinded from the intense brightness.
The creature's natural hide deflects the blows from Adamus and Falyf, and the creature responds with a series of claws and bites, leaving deep lacerations on Taurus' arm and face. 8 HP damage

Did you mean to attack Adamus with the bite? 15 doesn't hit Taurus. His AC is 19 currently.
Edit: I did not intend to charge. I never included it in my action or my attack roll. Was it required to reach the creature and attack that turn? Even so, Taurus's AC would be 17 and the 15 would still miss.

The creature screams in pain as Adamus' hammer crunches into its shoulder, nearly bringing it low. It's tongue lolling and dripping spittle, the thing glares hatefully with its strange light-emitting eyes.
Is Curraine trying to heal Taurus or just Haris?
I'm going to wait for Falyf to go before I finish the round and the frog-creature goes again.

Falyf's attack misses completely, mostly due to plain bad luck as the creature reels back from Adamus' blow.
Surrounded and severely wounded, the creature sweeps its eyes across the attackers again, blinding Adamus and Falyf. It then attacks in desperation, trying to claw its way to freedom through Falyf, slashing his arm with one claw. 4 HP damage
Blindness will last longer than this combat. We'll handle it after.

Curraine has selective channeling and will typically be healing the entire group each time he channels. Or you could look at it like he's excluding all non-party creatures and humanoids each time he channels.
Curraine begins to direct traffic once he realizes that most of the party is now blind. Adamus, back up and slide right. Faylf, don't move, it's moving away Clearly he's no longer monitoring the hall.
Curraine draws his longsword and sheilds his eyes from it's eyes. Curraine is basically standing in the doorway.

Though he's the only one to see it, Taurus' axe takes the creature down. Blinded, the rest of the group hacks away at the corpse for a few additional seconds before it's obvious the creature isn't fighting back.
Motes of light float in the vision of those blinded by the creature's eyes. For a while, it seems like the blindness might be permanent, as Haris, Falyf, Curraine, and Adamus stumbling around rubbing at their eyes. Luckily no other residents of the keep come to investigate. You are just about at the point of deciding on resting in darkness or being led by Taurus from the Keep back to town when sight begins to return. It's a slow process, but about an hour after the attack the party is recovered enough to continue.
After a quick search of the scribe's chamber, you find three flasks of holy water, a potion of cure moderate wounds, and one of the trade agreements you've been tasked to recover stashed in the creature’s mushroom nest.

When the blindness doesn't immediately remedy itself the hulking barbarian initially considers abandoning his crippled party members, taking the loot, and running off. Blind, they were nearly useless. Who would fault him?
Cooperate, Explore, Report... Damn
Those were the words I spoke. Those are the words I will live by.
Taurus is waiting at the doorway when everyone's vision finally starts to recover, "Let's keep moving. We have a lot more ground to cover".
Adamus Vintersten

"By the gods, what was that thing?" Adamus asks as he hears it being hacked to bits by Taurus' axe. While his vision slowly comes back, Adamus sits and waits as opposed to panicking.
"Indeed, we should keep moving." Adamus replies as he picks up and stows one of the trade agreements.
Haris Hawkson

"If Taurus hadn't put it down, we'd be one man away from being discovered by the next expedition", Haris continues to blink out the lights, "That was near fatal. Keep moving but lets do it strategical-like and keep rank-and-file. In case of another brawl, you two brutes in the front, Falyf and me in the middle to make sure that our preacher stays safe at a distance.

Bros, just so you all know, I'm not a speedbump and don't expect to be treated like one. I'll take the rear position and cover your arses, as that's what the party needs. I'd also like a tick with this statue. If that next squat isn't filled with Gremmies, I'll be here checking the statue
Curraine slides over to the statue as the two brutes muscle the door open.

Curraine examines the statue but can find no religious significance to it.
Meanwhile, Taurus and Adamus force the door open to the western room. Inside rubbish and black mold choke the far end of the chamber. The slightest movement kicks up dust and spores, choking the stagnant and already foul-smelling air. Waving the dirty air away, both notice the large black shells of some kind off beetles amid the refuse. At first they seem like they might be dead, then one twitches an antenna and scuttles slowly around to face the door.

As long as nothing has happened yet and/or the beetles haven't charged in to attack, Curraine uses his abilty to speak with animals and tries to ask them not to attack the group.

Still don't think an map update is required. Adamus and Taurus are the only two the beetles can reach until the group shifts.

Taurus has trouble getting a clear swing on the beetles attacking him. Adamus crushes one like a watermelon, sending shell and bits of sticky goo flying everywhere. Falyf looks for an opening, but until one of the men in the front line moves he can't get to melee.
