Gaz's rage ends as the pumpkin pieces rain down. He is healed generously by his comrades before he can realize how severe they really were.

"Humf, thanks. he mutters as he tries to clear his head of the exhaustion and memories of fear and explosions. Information and Tactical

The trail spirals through the farmland surrounding the village. After following it through a cornfield, the trail ends at a clearing within the field. Dozens of pumpkins grow in this patch, though several appear to have been smashed. The still quiet of the late-autumn night amplifies a small, panting sound coming from within the patch.

The source of the panting comes into view--a little plant man with arms and legs formed from twisted vines with a small gourd carved with eyes and a mouth for a head. Around its neck is a necklace with colorful bird feathers. One of its hands grips a mallet, dripping with juices and goop from smashed pumpkins.

Ogre

The ogre leaps into the air and lands with a thunderous BOOM beyond the skeletons somewhat confused and frightened at the dead creatures clawing at it. It moves deeper into the ruins and bellows a challenge to all while swinging it's club in a vicious challenge to anyone willing to listen.

Prizm walks over near Gaz and starts casting a spell enlarge, and I don't lose concentration on my illusion due to effortless trickery

Scarab Sages

Information and Tactical

I would note that Gaz's archetype receives benefits the smaller he is in comparison to his opponents. Since it's a full round cast, I'll give you the option to discuss between the two of you if you want to pick a separate target.

Prizm also doesn't have line of effect or sight to direct the illusion further into the ruins. Its earlier position is as far in as Prizm can see.

The skeletons all swing at the illusory ogre. Though they seem intent on killing it, one of the skeletons breaks off after making its second swing at the illusion.

Now, I honestly do hate to run away from an enlargement! But the Titan Mauler buff of +1 to Attack and AC seems wiser than the +1 to Attack and Dam with a -1 to AC. Gaz is just a squishy pinata after all. Prizm's target is selected at completion next round though, right? If so Adoril and Corrin are nearby too.
Though, if you ever play with Gaz after this scenario when he's been rebuilt as a Human, enlarging is 100% the tactic he'll be going for against medium peeps.

If things seem groovy:
Gaz moves forwards, stomping and huffing with his axe out like a madman.
Double Move

The trio of skeletons are now blinded.

No need for will saves on friendly illusions =)

A skeleton that appears to be on fire shambles out from deeper within the ruins and dashes across the marsh towards Lya and Gaz, stopping abruptly between the two of them. Line of sight and all, tricky resolution in pbp.

Lya and Adoril:
Both of you are positive that those skeletons attacking the ogre are your typical run-of-the-mill skeletons. Hit em with blunt weapons, holy water, positive energy, yada yada yada. Adoril recognizes the fiery skeleton as a burning skeleton (he's fought some before), and knows that all those standard skeleton things apply, in addition to the fact that they deal additional fire damage, have an aura of fire, and explode on death (yay more things that explode on death!).

Prizm finishes his spell but finds a new target in Adoril. Upon its completion Adoril swells in size and stature.

The little gnome then moves over to get a view on his illusion and the new foe. With a wrinkle of his nose the ogre swells in size and strides into the middle of the ruins.

I made it bigger so I can see his head above the walls... so I can move him in further and maybe net more aggros, using effortless trickery to play with the illusion and keep it going as a swift

He then levels his wand at the new foe and it fires out a single shimmering missile with a resounding "pew"

Both of you saved for half dmg--that's 2 points of fire dmg

At this point, I don't see any point drawing this out having you guys fight 3 blinded skeletons. There's also a haunt that would trigger off the burning skeleton that makes people take more fire damage, but that ship has sailed =P. I say we call this combat complete.

Don't worry about healing or anything, all that's left is the RP wrap-up of the scenario. I'll get everything reported once people have posted in the discussion thread.

Scarab Sages

Information and Tactical

Among the ruins you find a steel box lined with possessions that survived the fire. Inside is a an unholy symbol of Gyronna, a bottled scream, a wand of burning hands (CL5) with 4 charges remaining, and a potion of fly.

The altar of stones was also an altar to Gyronna, a CE deity also known as 'The Angry Hag'.

Feather Seed uses a magical, glowing gourd to cleanse the restless spirits in the ruins, filling the air with a palpable sense of peace.

The festival continues into its final day, where the villagers hold a ceremony of forgiveness. Several villagers come forward and apologize to the PC's about their initial distrust, as well as their suspicions you had murdered Elm. Armeline also forgives the society, and informs you that she's willing to accompany you back to the Woodsedge Lodge to speak with Venture Captain Petulengro. Before you leave, Bertinard publicly thanks you:

“What happened 30 years ago was a terrible tragedy. We, all of us, allowed fear and division to triumph over mercy and love. A group of worshipers of the hag goddess, Gyronna. A group of worshipers of Gyronna attacked our village. They used illusions to walk among us and tore us apart. They framed us for betrayal and murder, and in the end, we turned against each other, hands full of blades and hearts full of spite. I felt the poison that had taken hold here gnawing at my faith, but knew deep down that something was terribly wrong, and with the help of my lantern, I revealed the truth behind their disguises. And, well, I’m not proud of this, but I led the charge against them. I let rage take over. I cried for their blood, for their hanging. When it was over, I followed their tracks back to their home, dropped their bodies within it, and set the whole mess ablaze. I may have put a stop to the threat, but in so doing, I succumbed to their influence nonetheless. However, Shelyn forgives me, and I have forgiven myself. What happened here just had to be tied to those cultists. Thanks to these brave Pathfinders, we need not suffer through that nightmare again!”

In thanks, Bertinard presents you with his lantern of auras.

Congratulations, folks! Chronicles will be available at COTN for attendees. Otherwise your chronicle will be mailed to you! Cheers!

Gaz stops in his tracks as a massive Adoril explodes a fire-skeleton bomb in front of him. Looking up at Lya with his eyebrows singed, Gaz starts letting out a rolling laugh. He finds the process of cleaning up the blind skeletons quite enjoyable, though he never fully trusts the hulking illusion and some may catch the little confused halfling swinging at it occasionally.

The final research on site is mostly over his head, but the leshy has won him over and Gaz will try to get Feather Seed to join them at the festival. Regardless of the Leshy's accompaniment, Gaz tries to turn the somewhat somber ceremony of forgiveness into an upbeat celebration.
