So sorry about my delay, everyone. My charging cord for my laptop got mangled in the inner workings of my recliner and would no longer work to charge the battery. Then it took a little time to find a replacement cord of the right type and get it shipped to me. But it arrived today and now I'm back online and trying to catch up all over the boards.
To better facilitate getting chronicles out to everyone quickly once we are done, please reply to this thread with the form below filled out.
You may roll day jobs now, if you prefer, or wait until we are nearing the end of the scenario. If you do not roll it before I am filling in sheets, I will complete it as if you had taken ten on the roll. There WON'T be an opportunity to make purchases after the mission briefing, so it would be a good idea to have those resolved before we begin.
Player name: (as you would prefer to see it listed on your chronicle)

Email: (you may spoiler, space out, or PM this if you prefer it not be shared on the boards)
Please feel free to ask any questions you have and let's have a good game all!

Everything is not great, but I am really working to get back on track. I'm working on your update next!
Zavita |
Just sent out feelers for a possible GM to take over until Bluedove can get back on track.
GMG |
Hi all,
I can take over GMing. However I am traveling at the moment, arriving home late on Friday. First update will therefore probably be in the weekend. I assume you can wait the few extra days.
GMG |
OK, seems we have:
Doyote: Cavalier 5
Henrick Bulwark : Ranger 5
Maldrek "el liberto" : Wizard 4
Professor Dario Westone: Bard / Ranger 3
Skarn Moonbane: Oracle / Barbarian 7
Zavita: Oracle 6
Total: 30/6 = 5. With 6 players that means tier 6-7
GMG |
Guys, next update tomorrow.
Meanwhile, can you post your PFS-ID and faction for me? I need to report this game as part of online gameday. Don't worry, we will continue and finish the game!
Also:
Boon rolls (boon on 20 or 16):
Skarn: 1d20 ⇒ 12
Doyote: 1d20 ⇒ 14
Zavita: 1d20 ⇒ 13
Maldrek: 1d20 ⇒ 2
Dario: 1d20 ⇒ 11
Henrick: 1d20 ⇒ 14
GM: 1d20 ⇒ 3
No luck!

I have been hit with a flu, will hopefully recover soon but posting might be erratic.
Professor Dario Westone |
I'll be traveling for the next two weeks. I should be able to post daily from the hotel with few distractions, but just a heads up if you don't hear from me.

You were trained in a nowdefunct philosophical tradition—such as that of the nowdestroyed Galtan universities or Lirgeni astrologers—and learned to use logic and reason to persuade others. You can use your Intelligence modifier in place of your Charisma modifier on Diplomacy checks to persuade others and on Bluff checks to convince others that a lie is true. (This trait does not affect Diplomacy checks to gather information or Bluff checks to feint in combat.)
This applies to passing secret messages for this moment. It is a grey area and I may change my opinion later. That does not mean I will revisit this ruling for this situation, that stands.
At the beginning of your turn, you may, as a free action, roll a single d20. At any point before your next turn, you may use the result of this roll as the result of any d20 roll you are required to make. If you do not use the d20 result before your next turn, it is lost. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Intelligence modifier.
I see no reason why you could not wait six more seconds to try to get a better roll. Note that I normally assume that characters do not know what they rolled before the action is resolved. However this ability is called prescience for a reason: you know exactly what the result would be if you attempt it at the time.
Also good thinking on the bluff to pass a secret message. All in all I will use your second prescience roll as the bluff roll for secret message. You-know-who can then roll sense motive against that to detect it.

Thanks for it, if later you found something that makes the answer more clear, please say it to me.

Guys, I am on a skiing trip until March 6th. We will resume then and finish this.

1 person marked this as a favorite. |
I didn't say nothing to Skarn the first time because if he doesn't pass his save it will not make sense, and post something like:
If Skarn passes his save, then...
If Skarn and Henrik fails their save, then...
If everybody but Skarn pass their save, then...
If everybody but me fails their save, then...
Well, that could be even worse.
GMG |
Well done team! I am sorry for having this take this long.
I will try to get your chronicles out on Thursday (I am on a business trip today and tomorrow).
Henrick, can you make two fortitude saves for the energy drains? Both at DC 18. You won't be able to get to a friendly spellcaster before 24 hours have passed (unless Zavita can cast the restorations and has the components).
If you fail either one or both: are others willing to chip in for restorations or will you pay for them with PP (4PP each)?
Zavita |
Unfortunately all I have is lesser Restoration. I will not get the normal version until level 8.
Professor Dario Westone |
I don't mind chipping in PP either

Skarn Moonbane |
You can't chip in PP as far as I know, only gold. 4pp total isn't a big deal, it's what they are for. If Henrick really wants to pay in gold instead, I'll chip in of course.
