GMG's PFS PBP: Through Maelstrom's Rift (Inactive)

Hi there! Welcome to the Pathfinder scenario PFS 7-99 - Through Maelstrom Rift(Lvl 6 Pregens) which will start on or slightly after Oct 6, 2017 as part of PBP Gameday VI)

Pregens will be made available before the game starts. I will post a short blurb on the characters so you can make your preference known.

I first want to get the house rules out of the way so we have a common understanding. I assume you will have read this.

Please take notice of the following:

•I handle initiative in posting order.

•I expect you to use the appropriate lines (Race, Classes / Levels and Gender) to give me vital information (AC, Saves etc) about your character. You can take a look at my aliases for a PFS example.

•I attempt to post at least once a day during weekdays and at least once during the weekend. When I do not post: I have not forgotten about you, there were other things to do with my time that took priority.

•For decision making purposes: when two characters agree on a course of action we will go with their decision.

•And most important: this is a game and I expect us all to have fun while playing! If something causes you not to have fun: please address it (either here or in a PM) and I will do my utmost to get you back to having fun again.

I have ninja dotted gameplay. So stoked for this!

I hope we can avoid a lottery here. I will let you work out who gets which pregen. Hopefully this will be done at the latest in the first half of September, so I can then make the character sheets available to you.

Krakos, The Avalanche

Krakos’s devout worship of an elemental lord makes him something of an outlier in the Concordance, but he deftly balances the duties of faith and his pursuit of the Concordance’s goals.

I'd prefer to play Zephyr of the Forgotten Storm or Krakos, The Avalanche.

Jamilla sounds fun!

That said, I am sure they will all be fun to play.

Note that I will be on holiday until 7 August and very likely without any internet connection for that period. I don't think it matters for this game, but you never know.

I'm not exactly a "newbie," so I guess I'm SOL - but I'd be very interested in getting to play this sometime!

Folks, I have been very busy these last few days. As a consequence the pregens for Tektite and Nomi have not gone out yet. They will go out tomorrow (are on other computer that I do not want to start up right now, it is bedtime).

Since no "newbie" has shown interest I will give that person that was hiding in my closet the last place at the table.

I will probably put out the first gameplay post out in the weekend. Do not expect anything on Friday.

This will be my avatar for this - doesn't seem wholly inappropriate for the character I was left with. I was going to ask if anybody would consider trading, but looking at the other options, I guess it's not so bad. I just don't like playing low-INT characters, and I would argue against the idea that that aspect of the character even matches with everything else about him.

And we have started! Please put your perception and initiative modifiers on the map.

Unfortunately, I am on the road for the next couple of days, so my posting will be spotty until Tuesday. Apologies.

You wouldn't happen to have a non-rasterized (vector) version of this character's pdf so I could just copy the text and paste it into a character page would you?

My apologies for not posting. I had some things to deal with that had priority.

I am a bit concerned with the slow posting rate of some of you. This is a gameday VI game and as such we should finish by November 17th.

We need the time, so please attempt to post once a day during weekdays. If you are waiting it helps to post something like "Bill looks at the ground, hoping that one of his more well-spoken companions will do the talking". That way we all know you are still there.

If you are unable to post for whatever reason a short note here is appreciated. I can then bot you and the game can move on.

Looking at her character sheet, I thought that the burn damage was only applied if the save was failed. Is it both on contact and then again if the save is failed?

This 1d6 is in addition to the burn. Your attacks are also flaming in the demiplane
