The front loaded zen archer what to do after 6th level

Advice

I'm building a character for a future game.
Right now that is going to be a Zen archer. All the standard feats and stuff are taken for the archer.

So here is what I have including monk feats

Quote:

(monk)Precise Shot
(feat)Improved Initiative
Perfect Strike
(monk)Point Blank Shot
Weapon Focus
(feat)Deadly Aim
Point Blank Master
(feat)Combat Reflexes
(monk)Improved Precise Shot
Weapon Specialization

I'd like some suggestions for what to take for 7 to 15.

I did see a thread about going in a different direction after 6th but it was kind of vague. There aren't any good monk guides and I have tried looking at other Archery guides like Ranger and Paladin and they have not been much use.

I am not trying to make an optimized character. I am assuming the game will end about 14th level, so things that use KI Focus Bow would be kind of useless.

Any ideas would be helpful, thanks.

It's easy to end up with an optimized zen archer without really trying. Your list sounds a lot like one (no offense); a ZAM gets more good feats for free than most classes get by trying really hard. So if you also put your regular feats into archery, you're way ahead of the pack. Not that that's a bad thing.

But you can also decide that you're "powerful enough", and put some feats in a completely different direction. As a ZAM you can actually afford to "waste" a few feats on some RP/concept thing, or just on additional flexibility by picking up another role.

.

Alternatively, you can go into Huntsmaster Inquisitor at level 7, and pick up Boon Companion. Take for example the Ankylosaurus, and by level 9 you have a very tanky mount to drive you around while you take full archery actions.

At level 11 you'd gain the Bane ability, which is pretty sweet.

well, since you already have combat reflexes, you should consider going the Snap Shot Feat route. It's pretty awesome. You can do it fast as a Fighter or slow and stay in Monk or something else.

A pretty nice progression can also be Empyreal Sorcerer into Arcane Archer. there are several threads for this option.

I took iron hide and Dodge on mine and then plan to take improved natural armor once or twice to boost AC to the sky and the be in melee from level 9. But i keep zen archer all the Way. Flurry gets you more shots at 8, 11, 15 and 16. Snake style May also be a good plan if you dont plan to be in melee.
