I will pass on this one, I'm in enough PbPs currently, including your Second Darkness one, DrEvil. I don't want them to take up any more time than they do already. Thanks, though!

I understand. I am hitting my max as well, and will likely be down-sizing games as a few of my "player" games end.

OK, even if I don't join your game for reasons of being over-committed, I will still - hypocritically - take it personally if you don't continue with my game. ;-)
~~I had PMed Herman/GM DoctorEvil that I might have to pass on RotR for such reasons, too - I'm still wavering, since it would be such a good game and group. But, GMing takes an awful lot of work - thank you, GM DoctorEvil for the game of yours I am already in! - and so I may have to cut back on a few player games to keep up a GM game. (Unfortunately, each GM game takes the same amount of time and effort as a fair number of player games.)

Doing a bit of research, the Dragon's Demand might be a little bit much for me to take on right now as a GM, especially since I haven't played it myself. (This always helps me in a number of ways, so that I can see it from a players point of view and generate some ideas about how I would run things.) It also seems to be made to be started by first level players, so it would be less appropriate to transition 'clones' of these characters into, at least doing it in PFS campaign mode.
So, I might do another one of the ones that I've played. Perhaps even the Beggar's Pearl, which has some great atmosphere, and I think this party is much better prepared for than my party was, or maybe the Night March of Kalkamedes.

I really know nothing about the modules and scenarios available. And as such, I will blindly follow whatever the group wants. My personal preference is games which are heavy on style and atmosphere as I think that brings out the best in a good party.
GM FurtiveZoog
I wish I knew about and, especially, had played more of them, so as to have a better idea of which ones are good and in what ways and which ones are less so.
A lot of it depends, as you suggest, on the party preferences. Personally, sometimes I enjoy all role play, at other times I enjoy a straight combat dungeon slog.
Farg

I'm indifferent as I have no experiences with PFS save for the first steps modules. I like combat and I like intrigue (kinda digging this module up to here) and Farg is built for flexibility.
GM FurtiveZoog
That's right, Herman. I need a table or something to keep track!
I have been tempted by The Disappeared, which seems to have a "Mission: Impossible" vibe, but I'm not sure how the concept really works with Pathfinders: the idea of disguised Pathfinders, with all their weaponry and equipment, just strikes me as silly. Maybe there are more ways through it, though.
There are also the modules for 1-2, Crypt of the Everflame, The Godsmouth Heresy, and Murder's Mark. The first two seem to be staples.
Another option is to go through more of the Year of the Risen Rune ones, if many of you are doing the Varisian Runelord thingy.

Ran The Disappeared also under Derek W....Guess I'm the one who needs to make a chart...REally I am up for any that I haven't done. If you want to run one I have done, I can stand on the sidelines and join up after. No biggie...
The rule is one Chron sheet as player no matter the character, right?
GM FurtiveZoog
Yup, that is the rule, as I understand it, at least if they aren't the Tier 1 and Tier 1-2's scenarios or modules. You can replay a scenario with the GM's permission, but just don't receive a Chronicle sheet for it. (Or rather, you do, but you get zero of everything, with the sheet just acting as a placeholder.)

I'm currently in a godsmouth heresy game. But that isn't for PFS credit.

No one, in any game I ran OR played won anything. I am officially cursed and require some divine intervention before things get seriously out of hand...

Guys I'm moving and it's way more work than anticipated. Definetly no post from me before tuesday. Sorry!
GM FurtiveZoog
I am kind of thinking of Pathfinder Society Scenario #43: The Pallid Plague for the next one, also with VC Brackett out of Almas. It is 4/5 stars, and seems to have some good, unusual aspects.
Thornkeep...
But ... I'm still thinking about Thornkeep, just because you are all almost level 3 and the first part is still doable as level 1-2. In about the same time as a scenario, you would all be up a level. It is 'just' a dungeon exploration, but I had fun with it and you could always go back to it now and then for a stint.
One possible fairly-straight through path could be:
1-2 The Accursed Halls - would play at 2+
2-4 The Forgotten Laboratory - could play at 3+
3-5 The Enigma Vaults - could play at 4+
5-7 The Dark Menagerie - would be at 5+, but could take a break and do 3 others or another module - probably Carrion Hill (level 5) - to get to 6th.
6-8 Sanctum of a Lost Age - would be at 7+ if we did Carrion Hill first.
So, it would be 3 short 'modules', 1 regular module that is really well rated, two more short 'modules', then on to parts unknown as higher-level Pathfinders. One advantage for me is that it would be mimicking the path I am on with a group, so that I would get to play things first.
Well, just one thought!
PS -- The times may vary... We had a fairly high posting rate, even though the GM did a less open initiative system, so that you would potentially have to wait more if people hadn't posted as often. I'm not sure how we would go through it or not, but it might be worth trying a level.

Back no internet yet at home so likely only 1 post per day from me for some time. The plan with Thornkeep sounds good.

The magical thing in the wine cellar needs to be looked into.
What about Sandor Bryton. he seemed to be sincerly concerned about Thalia and could likely be used against her dad?
Also a trip to Galt might still be in order to find the contact?
Wuliem BrokenCrown

I definitely agree about Sandor Bryton.
So, have we decided to expose the whole operation or just her role in it?
Wuliem brews up some Crafter's Fortune for this...
day job: 1d20 + 11 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 11 + 5 = 19...
Farg

Not sure I'd say we seek him out. However first we might want to find the contact in Galt to have better evidence.
GM FurtiveZoog
Hi All,
Unfortunately, I think I am going to have to change plans. Although I really wanted to do another scenario, and I really don't want to lose a group, I'm afraid that with other demands and some GM burnout, I am not going to continue GMing at this time.
I might change my mind in a few weeks or a month and, if so, I'll be sure to let you all know and see who is still available.
I should be able to get the Chronicle sheets out in the next day or two. If I haven't received your day job rolls I will just roll them myself and add the given amount to your total.
Thanks for being a great group!
~~ Matt

Hate to hear you leave. I'll echo that I hope it's just a short break.

Thanks for running a long string Zoog! If you need a player sometime, just drop me a note. Herman climbs to Level 3 with this Chron sheet! Hurrah!
Will purchase the Dust of Tracelessness from the Chron sheet for 250 gp.
GM FurtiveZoog
Thanks, all, for all of your kinds words. Yeah, it was fun, and I hate to see a good group not continue (especially having been its GM).
Perhaps if I slim down otherwise, or learn to do things with a little more moderation...
I had been thinking about trying to run one for the next online 'gameday', which I have heard should start sometime in March, so we'll see. I might come crawling back even sooner.
I was going to mention that Herman is also an online GM, but it looks like he is quite full up!
Wuliem & Herman - Did you want to do Day Job checks?

Herman Day Job:
Herman spends a day or two penning a new Andoran anthem about Fair Rule and the Will of the People overcoming all obstacles. He tries it out at his next stage performance.
Perform Sing: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30
Apparently, it is quite popular!
