Kamu needs a move action to find out where she is, so you´ll could move there and attack once i guess with 50% failure chance.

Kamu's scent ability will automatically find her if he is adjacent to her. Given his faster movement speed, he should be able to find our evil captain with no problem.

So there will still be the 50% miss chance, but it sounds like Kamu can make an attack, and Sritaro can move up and also make an attack, both in the correct square, just the miss chance due to invisibility, correct?


That´s what i tried to say^^ Searching someone with scent in the adequate area is a move action, i looked that up. Doing that will put Kamu next to her, so he can attack with the normal miss chance for invisibility applying. Same is true for Sritaro. And the rest.

Right now you know where the invisible Captain is. She is at the stairs and Kamu is right next to her, nose pointing at her. Everyone and their pet still has an action. Sritaro could move and attack, Kamu can attack, Greyveil could bomb. All attacks have a 50% miss chance, but splash damage applies. Only Mia has a problem, since she would need line of sight to apply hexes or direct spells. Attack of Area spells circmvent that.

Seems my post got eaten again.

You can hear a cry of pain that ends abruptly and then something slumping to the ground. The smell of burned meat fills the ship and an invisible liquid runs over the floor.
After some time that liquid becomes a crimson red, drying on the wooden planks and you see the mutilated body of Captain Wardak lying on the first steps of the stairs. You find the key to the manacles that hold the rest of the slaves on her body.
In her chamber you find the remains of some half burned documents, containing some valuable information.

With Captain Wardak dead and her ship, the At Sea, seized by the Pathfinder Society, you have revealed Pasha Muhlia Al-Jakri’s involvement in attempts to infiltrate the highest levels of Absalom’s inner workings. The harbor pilot, Zigil, dutifully navigates the ship through the Ship Graveyard safely to the docks, where city officials take custody of the vessel.
You return to Lady Darchana to bring her up to speed on everything that has happened. Pleased with your success but deeply troubled by the implications, Lady Darchana has the bounty payment on Captain Wardak
and the At Sea authorized. She addresses you once more before dismissing you: Pathfinders, you have done a great service to Absalom today. The full extent, understandably, may never be widely known or recognized by the sleeping masses, but know that the Pathfinder Society can count on me as a friend and ally, and I hope that I may call upon you again in the future should the need arise.
Upon returning to the Grand Lodge, Rilla recounts what she can to Venture-Captain Valsin and you about her time spent in the Okeno slave markets on Stonespire Island, confirming several interactions with a
heavily veiled humanoid woman who forcibly took blood samples on two occasions. When Rilla inquires as to the fate of the other Pathfinders she was on assignment with,Venture-Captain Valsin closes his eyes and slowly shakes his head. No contact, is all he says on the matter.

I should be able to see all mechanical info i need. Also all equipment is important.

Maps will be on ditzie.com. You can move your pic there, but it´s important that you then hover with the mouse over it and press enter. This will safe the new arrangement and create a new link. You need to post that link then, else nobody can see what you did.

GM, bird familiars like the thrush are able to speak 1 language i can.
How would you rule their vocal performance in doing so?
As in, can they do a variety of voices, like high voices and low voices?

This is not mentioned in d20's description, but flavor wise it would be fun if the bird could.


Then it can be like that without mechanical impact.

Actually the bird or you can use bluff as in the rules, but you can´t mimick the voice cantrip.

More of a mishap, i´m actually not sure how it happened, it just came out somehow. It´s in, but still hurts a bit.
Don´t worry, will be gone in a few days.


Jakim Valstovs dropout changes some stuff, but no problem.

Nia Rumsfeld, daze doesn´t work on insects. Most of them and some other stuff are immune to mind affecting effects. Please choose some other action.


How to use the ditzie map:

Click on the blue map link in the gameplay thread i posted.
See the map, move your character token, hover the mouse over it and press "enter" on your keyboard. Ditzie saves and creates a new link then.
Please copy and paste that link from your browserbar and provide it in your post in the gameplay thread. If you don´t do this, we can´t see how you moved.

No. Swarms like that are immune to weapon damage.


Still have some problems with a dislocated Shoulder and there is a Con tomorrow and on Sunday, hope i can post though.

@Mia: The oil on spiders is kind of a houserule thing.
If you have lampoil, you could throw it on the spiders and then cast spark next round. Not sure how to rule it from then though.
Takes you two actions but sets creatures on fire without saving throw.
Guess i´d allow it to make 1d6 fire damage to balance it with alchemists fire.


FYI: I´ll be running Destiny of the Sands for PbP gameday 2.
If we manage, part 1 and 2, perhaps even 3.
Of course you have are invited.

We´re playing them all on Tier 1 probably, since i doubt you will get to level 3 or higher untill then.

Apparently i posted everywhere that i won´t have internet over easter holidays but here.
As a general rule, i don´t abandon my games. There might be some delays from time to time as i have to move a lot and am facing two oral graduation exams in the next three months, but the show goes on.

Said Trip was actually nice, since i connected work with a GM101 and a game (although i already played that scenario 4-5 times now).

After we finish this i would like to start destiny of the sands quite soon and hope it will be faster!
