Hello everyone! Please post the following below:
PFS #
Day Job roll
Initiative
Perception
Thanks! We'll get started soon once everyone checks in.

Score!
#40025-1
Craft (Painting): 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (18) + 24 = 42 I decided long ago that Lucija is kind of the H. R. Giger/Zdzislaw Beksinski of Golarion.
Initiative: 0 (+4 for Naghamadi)
Perception: 0 (+8 for Naghamadi)

Awesome! Happy to get this one! :)
PFS# 132,076-12
day job take 10 (intimidate from caravan): 10 + 10 = 20
Faction Dark Archive
Initiative: +1
Perception: +7
I am just finishing up another scenario and have to apply the chronicle, but otherwise good to go.

GM Aarvid |

Checking in. Probably with 7th sorceress. May have other options depending on party mix and tier.

PFS# 95823-1
Dayjob: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Faction: Liberty's Edge
Initiative: +3
Perception: +12

![]() |

Nota Bene: Lucija's approximate appearance can be viewed from her profile; Naghamadi is best imagined as a slender, stylized, iridescent Beetlejuice sandworm.

![]() |

The highest character I have is lvl 5 but it's cool if yall want to move up a tier.

I will stick with Victoria - Sorc-7 as she could play high or low tier.
PFS # 9884-8
Day Job roll - none
Initiative +9
Perception +4

@Tektite: Since my character's level 8, and there's apparently a few lower-level characters, my vote would be for your level 9 Inquisitor. I'd prefer we wind up in the 7-8 Tier.

![]() |

Apl=6.5 if Tektite brings his 9th. That will round to 7 and four player adjustment on 8-9 tier, right?

EndlessForms |

Victoria is correct. That would push you ino the high tier with the four player adjustments.

![]() |

I admit, I don't know much about that whole Tier-determining formula.

![]() |

So Tek, is Baz 8th or 9th? I think it will make a difference. I see in status bar 8th.

Impromptu over night camping trip in the morning. I will try to post before we leave but will not be back on until Thursday evening

Since Orik has passed on to the Grand Lodge in the sky, I guess I'll hover over and see how the rest of the team does.
My first PFS death in almost 60 sessions. I guess it was just a matter of time.
I wasn's sure how to progress him much past this level anyway, so perhaps you just simplified things for me...

![]() |

We can probably try to bring you back, you know....

EndlessForms |

It's bound to happen to everyone eventually. I've had several characters die (all of them got better!). One was heroically trying to stay when I should have run (playing a level 7 up in the 10-11 tier). My paladin lost his mount twice in a row. My druid lost his animal companion and then a couple games later got a nasty x3 greataxe crit that took him from full HP to death in one hit.
At 5th level you can probably raise him with a little help from your companions. Levels 1-2 you might as well restart. Levels 3-4 is tough because you have sunk a lot of time into the character but don't quite have the resources for a raise. But by 5th level and after most of the time you can get raised unless you die multiple times or aren't able to save your body and thus need something more dramatic than a raise dead.
Now everyone just needs to make it out of this encounter alive....

![]() |

This is the closest I've ever come to character death in Pathfinder - I'm the king of close calls, though. My Witch also lost his familiar once, although he shouldn't have because it only got reduced to 0 hit points rather than negative Constitution, and my brain wasn't working well enough at the time to realize the rules would be the same.

![]() |

Awen died in his last game Thornkeep: Enigma Vaults.. Hey.. I just realized.. That's two scenarios in a row EF has done his best to "retire" Awen!!! LMAO!! It is a painful and harrowing experience, but Awen will contribute what he can to the pot to help Orik out. Perhaps we can even bring his body out with us in order to raise him and complete the scenario. That would at least reduce some of the costs.

![]() |

And keep in mind, we are playing up a bit with some 5th level characters. Even with the 4 character adjustment, the combats will be on the tough side - and we were missing our second highest level ally.

![]() |

true true. I wasn't blaming EF.. I was just laughing about the situation.

![]() |

If anyone has any of those "I'm not using this until I really, really need it" types of tricks, items, or Boons, now looks like a good time to use them.

![]() |

Yep...the most I've seen die in a scenario is one character. I've had one character die before. But we're now down 3 and looking a TPK straight in the eye.
Quick question: Can a reroll be used on another player's dice? I don't have any rerolls, but was wondering if it's possible to give it to another player (like a second try at Insidion's fort save?).

EndlessForms |

If you have more than one reroll (multiple character portfolios or more than one t-shirt, etc), you can let other players borrow your things so they can get a reroll but each player only gets one reroll. So unfortunately other people can not give you their rerolls and let you keep rolling until you make it.

![]() |

It still means he can have a reroll if there is one - gods willing, that will be enough.

![]() |

I have a portfolio re-roll he can use. I can post the picture if you need it EF. I will mark it used on my profile. I do not have any others.

![]() |

If I had working lungs right now, I'd be blowing a party horn.

![]() |

Me too. :)
I was so glad not to die (at least not yet!). Hopefully this keeps things from being a route.
Great use of a reroll, Victoria!

By the way, by the standard rubric for hired spellcasting, my treatment will cost 660 gold.
Put that with what Orik will need, and the total will be just under 1,020 gold out of each of us.

EndlessForms |

If Orik wishes to pay in PP:
raise dead: 16 PP
restoration: 4 PP each (so 8 PP total because you need two of them)
So that's 24 PP, which means Orik has just enough to pay for everything with PP although you don't have to.
Player characters may not pool Prestige Points to obtain more expensive boons or services, even if they are members of the same faction. As a general rule, Prestige Points are designed to be spent by characters on themselves.

EndlessForms |

You have time to get the spellcasting done and jump back in the game. You're in a big city and not on a tight schedule... yet.

![]() |

How about me? Is 110 gold per person fine with everyone?

![]() |

Works for me. Can contribute 110gp for Lucija and 200gp or so to Orik. More if we get paid.
