A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for Levels 3–7.
Absalom is Golarion’s busiest and most populous city, but one of its largest populations goes largely unnoticed. You must venture into the sewers beneath the City at the Center of the World to stop the meddling dragons within from disrupting a vital Pathfinder Society operation.

I'll be taking the first six players who provide me with a character sheet and/or full stats filled out in the character's profile. We'll get started as soon as I have six players. I'd like everyone to check in at least once/day and preferably a couple times a day during combat. Thanks everybody!
GM Mike Tuholski |
This is a PFS scenario being played for credit so, yes, this is PFS rules. The party makeup ultimately isn't up to the GM; If six melee characters want to play together, I'll let them. If six casters want to play together, that's fine with me. If someone doesn't like the party makeup, they are welcome to change characters before we start or back out and let someone else play. I'm flexible as long as we have six dedicated players.
Connor McGinnis |
Every party needs a healer! (And he's a great attacker at a distance!)
I'll start posting as him when the scenario actually starts.

Edit: Sorry I was going to join in, but D20 is blocked at work and I'm not always sure I can get enough time online at home to be fair to the rest of you. {sigh}
That's too bad, hopefully you can join in something else. Thanks for being considerate to the other players though.

Ok, so far we've got:
Jamie playing a pregen
Conner playing Borenor Warrick - cleric
Zizazat playing Sahar Hasna - Barbarian/WitchConner - who is your patron deity?
Erastil (God of family, farming, and hunting, favored weapon longbow)
And thats Connor with an "or", not an "er". Sorry. It's just a pet peeve of mine when people spell my name wrong. Wanted to point it out early is all.

If we don't have a level appropriate character can we build a level 3 character? If so how does wealth work? I'm not sure how the rules for PFS work.
I can crunch a level 3 pretty quick. Thinking a magus or a fighter. but if not then I will use a pregen.
Sorry, but for PFS you either have to have a third lev character or play a third level pregen. You can't apply that credit to your character until they hit third level then. You should review the PFS rules in the Guide to Organized Play first and make sure you register and get a PFS number before we start.
Desmond Aesculus |
Hate to be a pest, but I figured you may want me to be more direct with my application. I'm itchin' to spill some dragon blood.
Desmond witnessed the inhumane way is adoptive parents were treated, and grew to hate his own humanity. His childhood was marked by a continuous string of fights and brawls as he fought back against the taunting of his peers.
Desmond's elven father, Jemaine, taught him to care for animals and run a farm. Though the family was greeted coldly in the neighboring village, their crops were welcome to be traded for in the market. This is largely due to Jemaine's winning attitude and natural charisma. Desmond grew up with a respect for beasts and the natural world, but his early experiences left him a gruff and somewhat unlikeable fellow.
Though respecting of his father's vocation, Desmond has sought a different life. While he still helps out on the family farm, Desmond has joined the Pathfinder Society in an effort to see various parts of Golarian that he would otherwise only read about in pulp novels.

If my math is right we have four characters ready now.
Pregen, Jamie
Borenor Warrick (Cleric), Myself
Sahar Hasna (Barb/Witch), Zizazat
Desmond Aesculus (Ranger)
We need two more characters, preferably some sort of rogue or something along those lines since we have a healing tank, spellcaster/barbarian, and an archer ranger

Yep, this looks good. I've got Who's Yer Con coming up tomorrow through Sunday so we'll wait a few more days before starting. If no one else is interested by then I can run it for just you four (it usually goes quicker with fewer people anyways).
GM Mike Tuholski |
Ah yeah, sorry. You've got the right pregens, I meant level 4. You can certainly play that. Just to warn you, a lot of people complain about the pregen ninja (I've never looked at it, so I can't tell you why), but I was at a table where the pregen ninja got dropped in a single flurry by a monk so maybe they're on to something. It's up to you; you can still play it, that's just my warning.

Hi, I'm Desmond's player. I'm really excited to be a part of this. I played my first PF game in October - with Desmond - and I have had a hard time getting in sessions more frequently than once or twice a month. I've only played Society games, I just don't have time to play a regularly-scheduled in-person campaign.
I have a roll20 account, but I haven't really used it at all. Anyhow, it's great to 'meet' you guys/gals.
I just hope Desmond fares better than he did last night. Our GM ran some kind of exclusive module (something about Demons, but I can't remember the title). And Desmond was the only survivor - and he only made it out alive because he failed a will save that forced him to run away like a scared little boy. I just hope the electronic dice are warmer than the dice last night.
@GM Mike: I noticed that Desmond's session last night hasn't been recorded yet. I'm sure it will be up in the next day or two. Just FYI.

That's fine RE not being logged yet. Realize that once you start playing in a PbP you can't use that character for any other (i.e. real-life) games. So you can use Desmond in this game, but you might want to have a backup to play in real life.

I figured I wouldn't be able to use him while we do the PbP. No need to worry about that.

So it looks like we have:
Pregen, Jamie
Borenor Warrick (Cleric), Connor
Sahar Hasna (Barb/Witch), Zizazat
Desmond Aesculus (Ranger), TJ Wolfe
Pregen Ninja, Hawktitan
Jean, Theinyore
That's six players. Make sure to visit the Discussion thread and get your characters ready. I'll open the gameplay thread so you can all introduce yourselves. We'll probably start Sunday afternoon-night.
GM Mike Tuholski |
Still waiting on Connor to check in with Borenor in the Gameplay thread.
Haven't heard from Theinyore for a while but if you're still interested please check in with Jean soon in the Discussion and Gameplay threads.
I will start tomorrow whether you join or not; as long as you jump in before the first combat you'll get full rewards. Once it starts I would like to you check about once/day unless something comes up; I will try to be flexible.
