With Chuffy safely out of the way for now, Poog realized that he needs to help Reta.

"Squealy, but we need to take down this beast quickly before it kills any chiefs. Attack!"
Squealy wades into combat, absorbing the AoO :(
If he survives, he will set up a flank with Reta.
Poog will then draw his wand of Cure Light, and begin inching around the battlefield.

Squealy bravely rushes into combat, as befitting a creature of his stature. He manages to hit the effigy, but fails to pierce the amalgam of objects that serve as a skin. To make matters worse, its retaliatory strike knocks the courageous pig out of the fight. Not too close to death but wounded badly, he gives off a smell of crispy bacon.
Reta continues to slice away at the statue, not doing much, while Mogmurch immolates it with his bomb. It smolders but does not catch aflame. Chuffy then dodges the fireworks launched at him and deals a mighty blow to its back, taking a moment to escape harm's way. Angry and damaged, it roars, spewing fireworks and raining blows down on Reta. The hits are enough to knock her out as well.

Squealy Nord, currently in great pain but not letting the little things stop his incredible rage, tries and fails to pierce the shell. Chuffy has a better effect with his bolt than the pig, and Mogmurch's bomb tears even more structure from the effigy. It totters, looking to be close to its last legs: This is it!

Poog sneaks behind the construct and manages to firmly anchor Reta to this side of the Boneyard. While the effigy has yet to become aware of his presence, its fireworks still arc in his direction, singeing him, while it backhands Squealy with a burning fist.
Despite all his porcine power and dedication, even such a fledging hero cannot withstand the blow. So ends the mortal legacy of Squealy Nord, the great boar of the Licktoad and Birdcruncher tribes, though his name will doubtless be passed on in song forever.
With no one else in sight to hit, the monster turns about and notices Poog, smacking him as well.

"YAAAAAAA-HAHAHAHAAAA!!!" Mogmurch cackles in vindictive fury.

Mogmurch throws his last bomb, to what seems to be no effect. Poog's fiery blast takes a fair amount of toll on the effigy, further drawing its ire. It raises a colossal fist to crush the annoyance in its way, and-
-A crossbow bolt sprouts from the pumpkin serving as the statue's head. It totters one last time, then keels over into the ashes of the campfire, its own light extinguished and body broken. As the chieftains stand about and heal their wounds, other goblins slowly crawl out from their hiding places to observe the scene. They used to bow and scrape before you, some willing to die for your causes - now they will all follow you to the gates of Hell (and preferably back).
A few goblins perished in the attack, but who remembers their names? More important is the loss of Squealy Nord, perhaps ones of the greatest heroes of them all. A fine idea for a quest, that - finding a way to bring him back. Still, this is not the time. There is a feast to be had, after all. It takes a bit of time (not for you, that is, but your tribe), but with a bit of cleaning and preparation of additional food, the great feast is back on!

Chuffy comes outta the brush...and kicks the pumpkin head. "Whew! That was close! Stoopid Pumpkin-head! Why you attak us and mess up party?
You OK Weta?"
Seeing they all survived, Chuffy dances a jig and sings a jingle...
"Chuffy, Weta, Poog, and Mog,
Exiles from ole Brinestump Bog,
All Chiefs now for Birdcrunch Tribe,
Lots of cider they imbibe,
Get attacked by Pumpkin-head,
But they strike and kill it dead!!!"

Poog kneels over the corpse of Squealy Nord and begins to weep.
The smell of cooked bacon begins to waft through the goblin camp, but Poog won't let anyone else come near.
He scoops up the limp form and runs off into the woods to pray for forgiveness from his only real friend.

When Chuffy sees Poog carry Squealy Nord off, he gets sad...he follows after 'em...
"Chuffy sorry 'bout brave Squealy...if he not sacrifice self, we all be dead...bought us time to kill stoopid pumpkinhead...
We put Squealy on ice...we steal much money from longshanks and pay cleric to bring Squealy back..."
