I don't particularly care, so yeah, might as well keep the roll.

Mogmurch:
Assassin vines are capable of surviving incredibly cold and hot environs. A constant stream of fertilizer and nutrients also render the plant moist and durable, able to withstand even most normal flames. Resist cold and fire 10.

They can 'see' reasonably in dim light, but their best-honed sense is a combination of all five, allowing them to perceive anything that moves in their vicinity. Low-light vision and blindsense to a range of 30 feet.

They are quite resilient for plants, able to take about as much punishment as a goblin chief before wilting and crumpling into death. About as much HP as any of you, more than the squishy ones but less than the stabbies.

Mogmurch wracks his prodigious brain for information about assassin vines, while Chuffy takes the direct approach and fire his crossbow into it. It seemed to notice the latter goblin at about the point at which he stopped to take a shot, but didn't expect someone else to start on the offensive, allowing the goblin to strike a weak point. While it appears surprised and unused to a direct confrontation, it rears up from the tree and prepares for a fight!

Mogmurch prepares himself for the fight, while the plant buries a tendril or two into the ground. A second later, similar vines erupt from the ground at each goblin's feet, attempting to hold them down. The big one then slithers forward and lashes itself at Poog! It smacks him in the midsection and wraps around and around, trying its hardest to squeeze the chief to death.

Not a particularly difficult target to hit, the goblins all manage to strike the creature, slashing and burning it back into a harmless heap of foliage. Poog drops from its limp grip, sorely wounded but otherwise okay. Some form of angry yelling can heard from the distance, perhaps from around the abandoned silo, but it doesn't appear to be going anywhere just yet.

You now have time to heal and look for truffles, and investigate the yelling if you wish.

Poog heals himself up, while Chuffy sneaks ahead again to scout out the disturbance. Shortly after a bit of banging around inside and flapping noises, a strange creature bursts from the silo. It appears as a feral-looking woman with tattered wings and taloned feet. While it (she?) still looks angry, the being starts to sing, not seeing any of the goblins yet but knowing something is about.

Everyone, if you fail a DC 16 Will save (sonic, mind-affecting, charm):
You are captivated by the beautiful song you hear, even more melodious than that of the greatest goblin storyteller. You feel the need to be close to the music and pay attention, moving to the source and doing nothing else but listening for as long as it graces your ears.

Knowledge (nature) DC 14:
This creature is a harpy, often seen as mix of vulture and siren in its habits. It uses its song to lure in victims, preferably sentient, pain-feeling ones, then savages them with claws and teeth.

With Squealy Nord's heightened sense of smell and prowess in the matter, it is little trouble finding more than enough truffles. At the feast, these will be made into delicious handcakes. Now all that remains is to return to the camp and signal the beginning of the festivities!

At the edge of the tribe's land, however, it becomes apparent all is not as peaceful as it was when you left. The somewhat common but rarely good or welcome scent of burning goblin permeates the air, and a few tribesmen can be seen running pell-mell in all directions. Reg Runtweed, one of the two who built an effigy of the chieftains as a (spoiled) surprise, notices your return and rushes up. "Th' statue, it's gone mad!" Reg gasps. "We brought some stuff from yer old stompin' grounds and conquests to build it, an' after a while it cam to life! Then it started killing everyone. It already got ol' Plunger, plus a few others! I guess you'll hafta kill it back. Plunge'n I spent hours on it, too..."

Still rather afraid of what he has created, Reg sprints off into the thicket. Before long, another voice, like that of a goblin in a much larger, deeper-toned body, can be heard. It is spouting some disjointed nonsense about killing goblins, especially you, and how it would like to prepare them for food. Rounding a bend, the monstrosity of a sculpture comes into sight, amid scattered cooking pots and burning goblin dog pens: a mismatched thing, shaped like a massive goblin, with a pumpkin for a head and fire in its stomach and eyes. It has some fireworks strapped to its arms and in its makeup, and the body is made from a mishmash of hides, wood, and a small furnace. "You will die and be consumed for what you did to me!" It booms upon seeing you, and it raises its arms to the offensive. This is it!

Huh, no one has Knowledge (arcana)? I guess it makes sense for most goblins, but Mogmurch and perhaps Poog. Still, I wish the scenario had said something.
