The male halfling bends down, drops his crossbow and feels around the ground blindly.

I think you have this fight well under control (and can easily beat the remaining halfling down without trouble. Let's just declare this fight over.

The conscious, blind halfling drops his sword and tries to act tough, only for the crowd to continue laughing.

Eventually the crowd calms down a bit. ”Th-they were set up. Maybe all the Pathfinders were set up…” They begin to disperse. Some of the folks come up to shake your hand and apologize for mistrusting you. You gain a +2 bonus on attempts to gather information.

The glitterdust fades and the halfling eventually regains his eyesight. "Look, I don't know all that much. We find people, pretend they are spies, they pay us to shut up. Most of them don't blow pixie dust in my eyes, though."

You can get more out of him with a DC 20 Intimidate check. Otherwise, where are you going to next? People were nominating The Docks before these halflings attacked.

Lasaraleen has a way with words, but the crowd doesn't know about these two halflings. They wish they could help.

Grog however looks at the halfling dead in the eye and watches the little guy's resolve shatter. "Okay, okay. No need for violence." he glances at the female halfling and the crossbow bolt sticking out of Liminy. "Okay, no need for more violence."

"We used to work for... the church of Razmir. Like I said, we'd set people up, rile the public against them, and then the church would help their reputation or something. Anyway, this new lady comes up and pays us triple what the church did for the same job. She's a towering woman with black and white hair. She comes to us, we don't know where she lives. Some Varisian feller come by wanting to buy up mah vermin repellent, trying to barter off some potions or whatnot.     Lasaraleen suggests the party visits Gar's Last Meal. This inn looks rather comfortable and clean. The price isn’t too bad, either. The only bad thing about this place is that it reeks of fish. The taproom is always busy, with lots of customers and visitors. This could be a good place to get some information!

    After about 1d3 ⇒ 3 hours of talking to patrons, Liminy is eventually led to a pair of minstrels. Two human sisters who both play the lute and try to outperform each other. Liminy catches them inbetween performances and sits down with them while they have a drink. Their names are Lily and Lilah.

    Lily and Lilah pretend to bow while seated as Lasaraleen compliments them. Lilah pipes up first. "Yeah, supplies have been drying up, haven't they? Yeesh. Weren't they stolen or something like that?"

    Lily says, “I heard the thefts were fake. One of those Pathfinders was in here a few weeks back asking around about the Shining Crusade, wanting to know if anyone had a picture or a drawing of what the soldiers back then looked like. I asked her about the thefts, and she said it was all a lie to let the smugglers drive up the prices.”

    Lilah adds, “Yeah, I remember that elf. She gave me the willies, her and her boyfriend both. Glad I haven’t seen them around town lately.”

    The ladies laugh and take a drink. "Anyway, the stage is cleared up, time for our next performance." Lily stands up and Lilah follows. "I think that's about all we know about supplies. Best of luck on your search!"

    The interior of this enormous wooden long house is brightly lit and filled with the sounds of laughter, music, and merriment. Food scents mingle with the smoke of cooking fires and tobacco pipes. Servants carry food and drinks from the open kitchen area to the various wooden benches and tables that ll the hall. Many of the patrons are armed and armored, proudly bearing the insignia of local militia groups on their cloaks and tabards, along with the sword and tree symbol of Nimrathas.

    I'm assuming you are still showing your Pathfinder allegiance.
    Opening the front doors causes a sudden silence to fill the hall. The soldiers glare at you like you caused a war. After a few moments they return to their conversations, but at a quieter level. They are carefully choosing their words, lest you get the wrong message.

    Gadget follows along in Grog's shadow, clutching her hands together looking extremely nervous as she makes her way through the establishment. She does a couple of very quick glances left and red before shutting her eyes occasionally to avoid the awkwardness, but as a result only make it more awkward. As Grog reaches the bar, she just stands facing the bar behind him and doesn't order anything.

    The bartender keeps his mouth shut but offers you drinks and milk as requested. As soon as that's over he just mutters "Pathfinders, hmpf" and promptly excuses himself with a weak excuse about checking milk supplies.

    The bar clears, leaving you alone except for a one-armed human man. He wears a green cloak bearing the symbol of Nirmathas. He walks up to the table with a noticeable limp, and his left arm is missing from the elbow down. He introduces himself as Imad Sharras.

    “Now is not a good time for strangers to be asking questions in Tamran. There are rumors that spies walk among us and that Pathfinders are among those spies. I find it a little hard to believe, given Pathfinders helped me out in a time of need,” he remarks, gesturing with his hand to his amputated arm.

    He notices your glyphs of the open road. “So here is my offer. I know something of potential culprits you may be following, and I will tell you, but first one of you must drink this,” he says, producing a small blue bottle from his pocket. ”Drink this, and you will ensure my trust.”

    You can attempt a Diplomacy check to earn his trust without drinking it. Otherwise you can try to make a Will Save, DC 13.

    If you drink it:

    As you drink it, Imad fires off a stream of questions, testing your allegiance to Molthune.
    “How long have you been working for Molthune?”
    “Who is your Molthuni contact?”
    “Do any of your allies have ties to Molthune?”

    If you failed the Will Save you must answer these questions truthfully.
    If you made the Will Save, you can attempt a Bluff check, DC 15 to act like it compelled you to tell the truth. He'll believe anything you tell him.
