After putting some distance between himself and the halflings, Jamamros begins clutching at his wounds and shouts out "If any of ya can heal me, I could really use some!" The dwarf is visibly wounded. He can be seen gasping for air, and at times struggling to move.

Hule attacks the healthy halfling, but the attack bounces off of the assassin's armor. Puss has some better luck, but misses his second claw attack. Kazzak finishes off the prone halfling.
The halflings continue their assault on the Pathfinders. The rest of the docks seems to have noticed the fight and are cheering on the halflings. The guards of the boat are especially vocal in their dislike of the would-be intruders.

Jamamros Samulkin

My only choice is to channel energy. It is the only type of healing that Jamamros has. As a neutral cleric he chose to channel positive energy, despite his rough demeanor. Didn't want to do it earlier since it heals everyone within the radius.
"About time ya heal me so I can rejoin the fight!" Jamamros stands up, knowing he was on the brink of death and takes hold of his wooden holy symbol. The dwarf closes his eyes and begins muttering under his breath, appearing to pray to the god Calistria. Halfway through, a glowing aura begins to encircle the dwarf and gradually spread out around him in a circle, with him as the focal point.
The unusual sight of the glow is only increased when everyone that the light touches suddenly feel their wounds, and the exhaustion from battle begin to dissipate.
Channel Energy Heal Living: 1d6 ⇒ 1
When Jamamros finishes talking to his god, the glow disappears. The dwarf stows his wooden symbol by placing it between his belt and body.
"Now let's go kill the rest of these little bastards!"
Please tell me if I did this wrong. I have mentioned it in other games I'm still learning some things, but based on what I know and what I have read I'm about 90% sure I did this correctly

Scarvane nods to Jamamros as he gets even more angry at the halflings above, bringing misfortune down upon them.

Be careful of healing unconscious enemies however. It could put them back in the fight. And I don't particularly like to go back and count to see if unconscious enemies should be awake now. Hah. Luckily 1 HP won't make anyone pop back up.
Scarvane casts Misfortune on one of the Archers.
Will Save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17
These halflings seems mighty resilient to the spells and abilities of Scarvane. Jamamros heals the group with his channel energy ability, while Fuzzfoot fires off a crossbow bolt, but it clatters off the roof.

Going to fast forward this as I don't think you have much in the way of ranged support or a way to get onto the roof of the building.
The archers take a few more shots at the team, hitting 1d5 ⇒ 2 Hule in the leg for 1d4 ⇒ 2 damage. They see that this is a losing battle and duck out of sight. The Pathfinders find themselves free from the halfling assassins, but their only leads are dead at their feet.
What do you do?

"Thank you, everyone - I took quite a beating. It was a tough encounter, but clearly we are making someone nervous."
Hule
|
"Seems that way, though for our part we've so far only managed to break a door and anger some guards. It's just as likely we're just making people irritated."
Kazzak Ebonheart
|
Well let's search these fellows before the guard reappears shall we? Kazak suggests as he begins to search the halflings and Puss again takes her comfy seat on the large half orcs shoulder as she sneers at Fuzzfoot.
See toldya Puss don't like no halflings... Kazak offers not truly apologetic.

Jamamros Samulkin

Jamamros wipes some of the blood off his body and joins Kazzak in looking at the fallen halflings.
"Ne'er expected them to give us such a fight. Good thing some of ya were able to bring 'em down, otherwise I might be seeing me god a little sooner than I wished."
Fuzzfoot Hogan
|
"And me, I like big kittens... perhaps he will warm up to me yet."
Looking at the sad shape of his clothes, Fuzzfoot joins Hule in his plea. "I am still pretty hurt as well, and now my clothes are torn and bloodstained. I am going to need to rest and cleanup if we are expecting another attack. And since we let a few get away, I fear that is likely!"
Jamamros Samulkin
|
Heeding the pleas of the party, Jamamros removes his holy symbol from his waist and closes his eyes. He begins mumbling under his breath as he prays to his god. Like before, a glow encases Jamamros and begins to radiate outward from him providing healing to all those within range.
Since we are out of combat, there should be no enemies around to worry about.
Channel Energy Heal: 1d6 ⇒ 6
2/4 uses of channel energy remaining. Good roll should put everyone back at full HP.
Fuzzfoot Hogan
|
"Thanks, Jam. I owe you a drink. This Ticklefish Tavern looks to be as good a place as any to get one."
Once the bodies are searched and everyone looks ready, Fuzzfoot leads the way to the tavern.
| GM Bold Strider |
The crowd boos as the Pathfinders overcome the Assassins, but then some of the men in charge crack their whips, indicating everyone should get back to work. The docks return to normal shortly after Jamamros heals them back up.
Fuzzfoot pushes the team onward to the Ticklefish Tavern and they see that there are an awful lot of the crew from the No Return inside drinking.
Fuzzfoot Hogan

I am fairly new to pathfinder, but in 3.5 I think there was a skill called Gather Information. Is there an equivalent in PF?
Fuzzfoot sidles up to the bar, and orders an ale to wash the blood out of his mouth. He looks around for anyone who looks to be a talkative person, to see if he can get some questions answered.
Hule
|
You'd want to roll Diplomacy(gather info) or Knowledge(local). Diplomacy is just diplomacy, and that's probably what you want. Knowledge of course has different modifiers for each kind (such as local). As a bard, you can try that as well.
Fuzzfoot Hogan
|
Yah, I guess I should be more specific... think I was just fishing.
I suppose in the grand scheme of things, what I am really after is where this Lady Anilah Salhar is. That's probably a bit much to ask though :)
So, let's at least see if we can:
1. Discern the current location of Pardu Pildapush - is he even on this ship at the dock?
2. Get a description of Pardu Pildapush. For all we know, he was the rotund man we broke in and found, and we just left him there...
In case you need a few more rolls...
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (16) + 12 = 28
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 27
Knowledge, Local: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
| GM Bold Strider |
Fuzzfoot starts moving around the Ticklefish and puts himself between two hulking Ulfen men. One of the men looks at the halfling and laughs. What do you need half-pint?
You try to get a bead on where Pildapush is.
The two Ulfen men laugh and take deep droughts from their ales. That fatass? That kinda information deserves a round of drinks, don't you think?
Fuzzfoot puts some coin on the table and the bartender brings by three ales.
You're a good half-pint. Drink your ale. The sailors give you the run down of Pildapush. You are fairly certain that he was the man in the building that you tried to break into early in the day. They also mention that he is on the ship outside, talking with the boss, probably underdeck.
Fuzzfoot Hogan
|
Well worth some coin!
Fuzzfoot orders another round for the Ulfen's, and then rejoins the others to share the information gathered.
"So, that probably explains the assassins. Those guards on the ship might be tougher, but maybe we can try to convince these guys to help us aboard?"
Scarvane
|
Perhaps we try to board the ship again. They are obviously aware that they have a kidnapped noble woman if Pildapush is on the ship as you say. Seeing as he bought her.
Hule
|
I feel that I've gotten us in enough trouble, catching the eye of the crowd whilst we broke down the door, provoking the guards on the boat... last thing I want to do is carry this one myself and end up failing the mission or earning a TPK. Deferring to others on this one.
Scarvane
|
We could call the city guard but if the woman is already on the boat then they may be wanting to take off here very soon.
Fuzzfoot Hogan
|
Well, I think we need to get on the boat, but I am not a good one to try and force our way in. However, I could try to Hypnotize the guards to let us board, but if it fails, we might be in for a fight. Everyone ready to back me up and push through if needed? Or anyone have a better plan? If not, then here is my hypno info:
Fuzzfoot leads the group to the boat, and attempts to hypnotize the guards.
