There's a reason why my Summoner has a con score of 14 ... it's called life link, free action to take damage that would cut my Eidolon down to 0 & apply it to my Summoner :D

No crit for you! Only because the crocodile fought defensively.

NOOOOO!!! The one good attack roll the dice gods of paizo decided to give me clutched away by the foul machinations of a GM. *sighs* well, let's see a level 6 fighter get off 4 attacks in a round and do 69 damage :D

Thanks for the reminder, Rowles!

It's unclear to me which buffs are still active aside from haste, but I don't think Wizz's inspire courage is enough to make any of my attacks hit this round.

YW, also Inspire Courage is active for 1 more round (unless wizzy pops it back up this turn (hurray Lingering Performance!!)

EDIT:Prothero? Don't you have Precise Shot (looking at your feats...) That means you don't take a negative anything on attack rolls...

With the creatures size he would not any penalties with precise shot.. And yes Wizzy's inspire was still up this round, but on his turn he activated it again.. Eveyone is getting a +3 hit/dam, Gire and Black are instead getting +4 hit/+3 dam

Wizzy reactivates his Inspire Courage and pulls a wand out..

Precise Shot only helps with shooting into melee, but Wizz makes a good point about the creature's size. So, without cover, but with Inspire, my attack roll results were 16, 9 and 14. Sadly, I don't believe that changes the result any, since Gira didn't confirm his crit with a 17. But thanks for pointing stuff out, folks. I forget things, especially when posting when multitasking.

Prothero is correct. He still would have missed. Such is the luck of the GM Bold Strider Dice Bot (TM). I also just assumed the -4 was from cover since he was shooting past a wave of melee and through a doorway.

Prothero, Kyra, Blackjack, Giradoux and Rowles all attack the beast relentlessly, eventually felling the beast. Some of the attacks were successful, others not, but the end result is the same. The beast is dead! Long live the beast!

Assumptions. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The party explores the room a bit more.

Perception:
Prothero: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11
Gilthanis: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Floggentop: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 20
Giradoux: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Rowles: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Blackjack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
1d3 ⇒ 3

Kyra finds a bloodied ancient knife on the floor of the bathroom in one of the stalls and the head of the half-orc Sheg is lays on the floor where Maldroog dropped it when Floggentop broke the Mists' enchantment, however the man's body is nowhere to be seen. Giradoux thinks on this for a second and then notices that one of his slashes partially opened the belly of the beast. A few keys hang from the opening attached to a belt... Andoran faction mission. There is not much else of interest in the bathrooms of the museum, though there was more than could possibly be expected.

---

The party regroups and heals their wounds as the crocodile did go down only after it savaged several party members. Remember that two of you still have Cursed Wounds. After healing up as much as possible. The Pathfinders move to explore the storeroom.

As the party is exploring the storeroom, they find little of interest, however Prothero begins to feel a bit odd, as if the Mist is accelerating the Vargouille disease infecting his body. He turns a corner to investigate a few boxes and then returns with absolutely no hair on his head and his ears have grown into leathery wings, while tentacles sprout on his chin and scalp, and his teeth become long, pointed fangs. Quite hideous. Don't worry. Just flavor because the Vargouille disease is awesome.

All that's left is the main exhibit hall with the legendary ziggurat.

Do you proceed or turn back? ;)

As Wizzy cries out, Prothero turns to look in an ancient mirror propped against the wall, and shouts in alarm, "Ayy! Is it starting so soon? I had little enough hair when I walked in here tonight, but my ears were quite handsome I thought! And these things on my chin! God, it's horrific! But, Kyra, you said I should have some hours, right? I think if we resolve this matter of the strange curse affecting the museum, perhaps it will resolve my curse as well. And if not, I'll call upon the Society to help me with it, as is only right."

He squares his shoulders and says, "Let's go take a quick look at this ziggurat, then get out of here!"

Excellent flavor, DM! I'll keep him hairless from now on, will have to decide whether any other features stay with him after the cure.

Sounds awesome!

The Crocodile wounds are the issue, those are just norma :)l

"Not much of this place to go, we will need to prepare before advancing"

Probably get the buffs in place THEN crack the door?

So, the way it works is weird and I rule that you can heal everything but the wounds first, so you don't have to roll a ton of CL checks. With those rolls...

Blackjack: 4d8 + 4 ⇒ (8, 1, 7, 8) + 4 = 28
Giradoux: 4d8 + 4 ⇒ (8, 7, 5, 3) + 4 = 27

Blackjack and Giradoux are healed up to full minus the Poisoned Wounds.

This time Blackjack will fire up his Bard Song before entry and then maintain as a free action (10 rounds worth)...- Inspire Courage (Su): +1 morale bonus on saves vs. charm and fear and +1 morale bonus on attack and weapon damage rolls to allies who can hear.

C'mon, don't you wanna have your character known as tentacle face? It'd be your hook! :D

Assuming that you are all ready since you had a day to post prep.

Rowles opens the door and the Pathfinders see an overwhelming number of primates along the edges of the room. Mock vines cling to the wall of this grand exhibit hall, and huts of grass are strewn about the open area. At the center of this sprawling chamber, a great stone ziggurat rises out of the mist, almost scraping the 50-foot-high ceiling. At the top of the ziggurat, a rail thin elven gentleman is strapped to an altar, his bare chest painted with strange sigils and monkey paw-shaped blots of paint.

The Tik Taan hold court here, a band of savage primates (all escaped from the Absalom Menagerie) snarling, spitting, and cavorting madly about the ziggurat. Nearly 20 apes, baboons, and other monkeys revel here, but a terrifying howl shatters the revelry as Rowles opens the doors and the primates scatter into the mists, making way for their champion. The mist whisper-chants the word "Da'Tunga... Da'Tunga...".

Three idols (mask fetishes) scurry among the other primates, hiding their presence in the midst
of their yowling thralls. Floggentop recognizes them as the Tik Taan.

Giradoux looks at Rowles, who responds with a look of acknowledgment. "We're gonna wait for Wizzy, we both seem to hit better when he's around."

The gorilla king, Da'Tunga, lumbers towards Rowles, the point man, and lashes out at him violently.

Da'Tunga falls unconscious. The apes go crazy and start rampaging around the room, while the mask fetishes shake and quiver before cracking and crumbling to dust. The mist starts to slowly dissipate as the apes and monkeys flee from the windows.

This fight is ridiculous on high tier. The fetishes have no attacks and the other primates are specifically not supposed to fight. Blech.

A man tied to the obelisk seems to come out of his stupor. Help me! Heeeelp! The man informs you that he is Nigel (the man you've been looking for). He is incredibly grateful for your rescue and gives you a rare Mwangi weapon as a present for the Society. The weapon is an incredibly ancient Mwangi spear that Chelish explorers found near the colony of Sargava during the reign of the expansionist Chelish Prince, Haliad I. It would be worth a great deal to the Pathfinder Society and they’d hungrily pay to include it in their collection.

Fin!

That sounds awesome.

I'm curious if adding in a 1 level dip of swashbuckler for their panache could be helpful (after all, free finesse and using a whip with combat reflexes could be mean...)
