Jirin Tupel |

Round 9
Will vs DC 17: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23 12 damage, not Sickened
Round 10
Seeing the drow resistance crumple before them, Jirin does her best to aid Kelkzar and Trevor in defeating the priestess by willing her to be slow and clumsy in avoiding attacks.
Evil Eye on the priestess for -2 AC.
Status hp 42/54, AC 15

GM Blood |

Rowena and Trevor both hit the drow priestess, but it seems some magic is resisting some of the blow reducing the damage. Rowena stomp was a very minor one, but Trevor's blow was still mighty. Jirin's hex causes the female drow's defense to weaken.
The female stands up suddenly, faster than you are able to react and hit her with She stood up as a swift action that does not provoke. This is due to a cleric spell she cast while in the fog, you can probably guess which one.
She decides to attack and takes it out on Trevor, the morning star arcing with negative energy. As she hits him, a spell goes off, and he feels his muscles stop working. She then follows up with a second blow. Make a Will Save DC 15 or be affected by a Hold Person spell
Attack #1 vs Trevor: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 22 *Hit*
Weapon Damage: 2d6 + 12 ⇒ (3, 2) + 12 = 17
Channel Smite - Negative Energy Damage: 5d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 6, 5, 2) = 16 Will DC 18 for half of this damage
Attack #2 vs Trevor: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21 *Hit*
Weapon Damage: 2d6 + 12 ⇒ (6, 2) + 12 = 20
Edit, forgot to Save vs Jirin's Hex
Will Save Drow Female vs Hex: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (5) + 13 = 18 *Fail*

GM Blood |

Remember the ground is difficult terrain and Rauno's spell bonuses. I also delaying the melee after Rowena in case that incurs extra attack bonuses.
Round 11
Initiative Order - Drow, Rauno, Rowena, Kelkzar, Trevor, Quintus, Jirin
Drow Male AC 20 T 13 FF 17 CMD 21 Both are Nauseated, #5 has a -2 to AC Hex (Not in stats)
Drow Female AC 25 T 13 FF 25 CMD 25

Rauno Redpath |
Round 11
As he finally manages to shake off the dark effects of the drow's spell, Rauno focuses on the prophetic phrase he was able to wrest from the near future, even as he draws yet another wand and starts to invoke its power.
Maintain Foretell, draw wand of enlarge person and start casting on Rowena.
All allies a +2 luck bonus on ability checks, attack rolls, caster level checks, saving throws and skill checks. Round 3 of 8 now used.

Rowena Lordail |

Rowena starts with a leg sweep.
Flurry trip: 1d20 + 17 + 2 + 2 + 2 - 2 - 2 ⇒ (19) + 17 + 2 + 2 + 2 - 2 - 2 = 38 flanking, heroism, foretelling, flurry, TWF
Vicious Stomp: 1d20 + 12 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 12 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 1 - 2 = 23
Damage, assuming the hex penalty is not in the stats: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
First attack, stunning kick: 1d20 + 12 + 2 + 2 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (8) + 12 + 2 + 2 + 2 - 2 = 24
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8DC 17
Off-hand attack, kick to the weapon (disarm attempt, could provoke an AoO): 1d20 + 15 + 2 + 2 + 2 - 2 - 2 ⇒ (19) + 15 + 2 + 2 + 2 - 2 - 2 = 36 The Morningstar flies out of the priestess' hand, and Rowena snags it out of the air as it shrinks back to its normal size.
Iterative attack, bring morningstar down on priestess: 1d20 + 3 + 2 + 2 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 3 + 2 + 2 + 2 - 2 = 21 plus its own bonus.
I'll let you roll its damage.

Kelkzar Redjaw |

Kelkzar mashes his fangs and tusks together over the prospect of a good standup fight and delivers two smashing blows with his falchion before following it with a slicing blow from his fangs.
Attack (falchion) #1 1d20 + 12 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 12 + 2 + 2 = 24
Damage 2d4 + 16 ⇒ (1, 4) + 16 = 21
Attack (falchion) #2 1d20 + 7 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 7 + 2 + 2 = 27
Damage 2d4 + 16 ⇒ (3, 3) + 16 = 22
Attack (bite) 1d20 + 5 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 5 + 2 + 2 = 27
Damage 1d4 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

Trevor the Yellow |

Will save with Birthmark and Foretell: 1d20 + 11 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 11 + 2 + 2 = 32
Will save with Foretell vs negative energy: 1d20 + 11 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 11 + 2 + 2 = 17
Trevor doesn't really feel the effect on his muscle, for he reels in pain, knees buckling from the mighty blows the drow lands on him.
Trying to see beyond his smashed nose, he spits a tooth and lifts his axe, asking for Iomedae to grant him the strength to fight.
LoH: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 5, 2) = 18
Feeling some responsiveness in his numb left arm, he pivots the axe's shaft as he steps forward, moving his blade up then down, looking for an opening.
PA, FF, Frost, Holy, Enlarged, Rauno's aura: 1d20 + 14 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 14 + 2 = 243d6 + 1d6 + 17 + 1 + 2d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 4) + (3) + 17 + 1 + (2, 5) = 41
PA, FF, Frost, Holy, Enlarged, Rauno's aura: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 6 + 2 = 283d6 + 1d6 + 17 + 1 + 2d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 2) + (6) + 17 + 1 + (4, 2) = 38
Confirm and additional damage: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 6 + 2 = 183d6 + 1d6 + 17 + 1 + 2d6 + 3d6 + 1d6 + 17 + 1 + 2d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 1) + (5) + 17 + 1 + (4, 6) + (2, 1, 1) + (5) + 17 + 1 + (5, 4) = 76

Trevor the Yellow |

Not sure if flanking applies for me, so add +2 to attacks if it's the case.
With the flank, the priestess prone and Jirin's hex, I wonder if my crit confirms. It would be nice!

GM Blood |

Yes I forgot to include the hex in there, so this round her AC is basically 19 for being prone
Rauno begins to use enlarge person on Rowena while she trips and disarm's the drow priestess and uses her own weapon against her. Nice move!
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Kelkzar lands two blows with his weapon and a bite, but the bite barely damages her. Quintus moves forward and the priestess lashes out with her shield and misses and Quintus slashes down with his scimitar leaving a nasty wound.
Shield Bash, Prone: 1d20 + 11 - 4 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 11 - 4 + 2 = 14
Quintus Scimitar Damage vs Priestess: 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
Finally Trevor takes the full damage from the negative energy which seems to infuriate him as his enlarged axe chops into the priestess leaving a large gaping wound, but the follow up attack lands in the same place, splitting her in two. Flanking does apply here and in now way can she withstand a hit for 114 damage.
LF %: 1d100 ⇒ 51
Combat Over!

Quintus of Taldor |

"We need to keep moving. If anyone is still hurt, I'll cure them while Rauno and Jirin look at what the drow had--we might be able to use some of it."
CMW from wand on self, 24 charges remaining: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (3, 5) + 3 = 11
CMW from wand on self, 23 charges remaining: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (4, 1) + 3 = 8
CSW on Trevor: 3d8 + 8 ⇒ (5, 3, 6) + 8 = 22 x150% = 33 HP cured
CMW from wand on Rowena, 22 charges remaining: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (1, 1) + 3 = 5
Feh.
CMW from wand on Rowena, 21 charges remaining: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (7, 5) + 3 = 15
Looks like 5 rounds of healing, with Trevor brought almost up to full and Rowena up to full considering her CON loss.

Trevor the Yellow |

"Thanks Quintus! She was mean and tough! Let me drink something then we move!" says Trevor as he wonders at how cruel the drows seem.
He reaches into his bag and gets a potion that he downs without a second thought.
Feather Step 10 minutes.

Jirin Tupel |

"Well, they did say something about protecting a master's chambers, right? I doubt it would be behind bars, so the west passage seems more likely to me," says Jirin. "But, these drow people seem to like that kind of thing, so maybe..."

GM Blood |

Even though they are not moving, you are pretty sure they are zombies. Now whether or not they are vanilla zombies or some variant is hard to tell without them moving or giving any indication of their abilities.
Revealed the room that you can see beyond the iron bars. there are zombies laying by narrow tunnels leading east out of sight.

Jirin Tupel |

At the sight of the prisoner corpses, Jirin pales and shivers in fright at the thought of possibly having come to such a fate herself.
"Yes, let's...," she rasps, and quickly makes away! from the cells toward the corridor.

GM Blood |

I thought Trevor's enlarge person was a spell so it should have expired before the stinking cloud wore off. I'll say Rauno used a charge right before the cloud disappeared and give back the one he would have used on Rowena. The Air Walk should be good for a good while
Heading down the corridor to the south west, the cavern corridor widens into a small chamber before continuing onward. The floor has been smoothed here, Not difficult terrain and in the center is a large faintly glowing purple symbol.
You all recognize the symbol on the floor, it matches the one on the greater doppelganger's forehead and on the note from the greater doppelganger's master.

Trevor the Yellow |

Trevor is getting very nervous as they near the sign on the floor. He does his best to stop his armor from rattling, with little success. He nods to Kelkzar's offer with a face that says 'I know! I'm loud...'

Rauno Redpath |
Reflex 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Only Rauno's enchanted cloak shields him from the worst of the acid shower. Between this trap and the earlier oil and alchemist fire rained from above, Rauno now starts mental calculations on a parasol item or spell that may be of use if this trend continues.
If Quintus does not want to use channels/spells/wands at this stage, Rauno will use some potions of CLW.

Quintus of Taldor |

With grace worthy of Rowena, Quintus manages to get out from under the worst of the corrosive spray.
Reflex save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Quintus is hanging onto one channel in case we encounter any undead, so he'll use the CLW and CMW wands to fix everyone up once we know how much people have taken.

Trevor the Yellow |

Reflex: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
"Lovely..."

Rowena Lordail |

Reflex: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23
Rowena instinctively rolls as the acid falls, timing her roll to use Trevor as a shield, and taking no damage herself.
From her position on the floor, she pats Trevor on the bum, saying, "You needed a shower anyway,", then quickly wipes the acid transfer off her hand.

Trevor the Yellow |

"I think I have soap in my eyes. It stings!" jokes back Trevor, not wanting to show weakness.
It really hurts!

Jirin Tupel |

Reflex Save vs. DC 14: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
"Owwww! It burns, burns!" Jirin cries out as the acid fell on her despite sanding on the edge of the trap.
Want to Buy: a retroactive perception check for traps!
Status hp 30/54, AC 15 I know I passed the check, but did not get healed after the drow fight so am still carrying that damage.

Quintus of Taldor |

If the party isn't immediately attacked, Quintus begins to heal people.
CMW from wand on Trevor, 20 charges left: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (5, 5) + 3 = 13
CMW from wand on Kelkzar, 19 charges left: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (5, 6) + 3 = 14
CMW from wand on Rauno, 18 charges left: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (6, 5) + 3 = 14
CMW from wand on Jirin, 17 charges left: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (3, 1) + 3 = 7
CMW from wand on self, 16 charges left: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (8, 6) + 3 = 17

Jirin Tupel |

"Thank you, Quintus: you're a gem!" Jirin thanks Quintus for his assistance. She didn't feel fully back to normal, but his efforts certainly helped. Using some of her own power, she felt right as rain.
Healing Hex as CMW: 2d8 + 7 ⇒ (4, 3) + 7 = 14
"So, onwards?" she asked once they'd recovered from the trap.
Status hp 51/54

GM Blood |

You continue down the hallway past the illusory marker on the floor. Soon you come into another natural cavern.
Set into the cavern wall of this foreboding chamber are a pair of tall white marble double doors, streaked with veins of a faintly glowing purple mineral. Flanking the doors are a pair of tall ivory columns, each bearing a tentacular symbol burned into their surface. It is the same symbol seen on the greater doppelganger's forehead and earlier in the hallway
Map of the room visible

Trevor the Yellow |

"Looks like another acid shower is coming..." says Trevor, with a peeved expression.
