As bloods spews everywhere, Paicho keeps a cool head and continues his inspiring word.

Deyno's raging attack puts another poor creature out of it's misery.

Qatala moves around agilely, avoiding the rats in the path. Her whip is used skilfully to bring down a cultist to floor.

It was enough! Combat is over.

Without mercy and wasting any more time, Deyno, Qatala, and Flyn quickly dispatch the remaining cultist with precision and power. Searching the bodies thoroughly, you find the holy symbol of Groetus, made out of pure silver, and a couple weapons, and armory that may or may not be of use to you.

+1 Heavy Wooden Shield, +1 cloak of resistance useful for anyone?

Nearby the entrance of the Swift Prison, a few abled looking constables are relieved to see you and greet you. But they also stand in a sea of ragged and injured people, cultist and constables alike. A cleric tends to the wounds of the constables.

A gruff looking one opens the doors, "I suppose you're not with these vile monsters, any help we can get, we'll take." They let you in without questions.

The interior of the prison is somewhat a dungeon crawl, although it has lots of rooms that add no content to the scenario. I plan to streamline this part slightly for PBP sake. Is everyone okay with this?

Will definitely describe as much as I can! Even with streamlining, I do want to make sure it is immersive as possible.

"With your help, we've seem to have secured the grounds, that's what the men are claiming anyway. Can't be too sure about the situation inside, but as far as I know, we need all the help we can get."

The large wooden doors (You are entering from the south)are opened to reveal the interior of the prisoner, a large hallway greets you. The hallway is wide and fits several, currently broken, market stalls. The place has been severely trashed with wood splinters, papers, food lying all over the room. An obvious sign of a struggle that happened throughout.

Two large rooms are found on either side (West & East), is the mess hall and the kitchen. The place is in a similar condition to the market hall. It contains several enormous wooden tables, stained by years of use and abuse, and now blood. The rooms smells musty and rotten. A few dead cooks are found dead, stabbed repeatedly.Nothing to add to scenario content in the kitchen & mess hall.

Your two options for moving forth is below.

The Eastern room doors lead to a chapel, and further ahead seems to be a wide indoor yard.

This first bit is on the way to the bell, after Kiboko questions the druid of Groetus.

Kiboko, there are many gods other than Groetus deserving of worship. Many gods that better embody things I think you value. Groetus isn't evil, but I've never met a follower of this god that wasn't up to some wickedness. Perhaps Cayden Cailean, Erastil, Gorum, or Gozreh would be to your liking. The bell rings a beautiful and soothing sound, but it does not produced any effect other than the tone. Paicho writes in down. Once the group is satisfied with their observations, they continue down the path into the swift prison.

Nothing else to do with the bell mechanically. To my surprise, and as much yours, the bell is a relic yet ringing it doesn't produce anything per the scenario.

Heading into the wide prison yard, you see a horrible sight. Rusted, iron flakes dust the ground around a series of thick gates. Within the keep’s yard, four derro corpses surround an insectile quadruped. Countless barbed crossbow bolts penetrate the strange beast’s hide, and where its head should be, thick ichors moisten the ground around two separated feathered antennae. rats scurry around the place feeding on the dead, you decide it best not to pay attention to the rats, and continue your journey into the Keep.

In case anyone wanted to identify the creature, it is a DC13 Kn. Dungeoneering to identify that it is a Rust Monster.

Within the keep, the sight is not much better. Broken furniture litters the room: parts of a stool, a modest writing table battered in twain, and several smashed chairs sprawl across the keep’s wooden floor. Two sets of similar stairs on either side of the room East & West will take you downwards into the cellar, dubbed by the residents of the place as 'Stavian's Fair'.

Mosquito Witch Handouts

There is signs of movement on both sides of the stairs, neither looking more significant than the other. The room is symmetrical, suggesting that they both likely lead to the same floor below. Flyn perceives that both sets of stairs are rigged with tripwires. Likely a trap set behind.

Would you look at that. Paicho does give the Rust Monster a wide berth, even in death. You definitely don't see that everyday.

Further ahead Well spotted Flyn. Paicho's mind is still on the bell, commenting out loud, That bell did make a lovely sound, but it didn't seem to have any type of magical effect. I wonder what the trick of it is?

Both sides are equal in activity of movement, and Flyn easily disables the trap on one of set of stairs.

The groups proceeds to the first level of Stavian’s Fair. All is fairly quient, and not a single soul is to be found. The room contains four large solitary confinement pens reserved for political dissidents. The room looks relatively preserved in comparison to the upper level.

In one of the corners of the southwest cell, there is a diary left behind. Several pages beyond the last entry was torn out, and the last passage details the horrific abductions.

In the handout slides.

Similar sets of stairs on either side again bring you to the lower levels.

Paicho casts Heightened Awareness on himself.

We may have a trail to follow, if whoever wrote this is able to drop paper. Shall we.
