Guided by Enzial, the dryad guides the pathfinders through a hidden trail, avoiding the kobold sentries and their traps.
However with the biting cold threatening to freeze the group before they reach their destination, the group pushes on with the aid of the cold weather gear given by the Twinhorn tribe.
Give me a Fort Save DC 15 or be fatigued for the next encounter and take 1d6 ⇒ 1 nonlethal damage. Gain a +5 to check due to cold weather gear.
The tunnels bear numerous carved petroglyphs and stylized murals, depicting significant scenes in the kobolds’ history and distant mythology. Among these are images of a humanoid with hair on her head, a blade in one hand, and patterns that suggest armor covering her body.
The party can also find among these a rounded cartouche containing several Dwarven letters and words.
It is a gladdringgar, a dwarven mark carved into a cave to prove to others that a dwarf reached that point. This one identifies the carver as Ivvora, servant of Vildeis.
As a free action on its turn, a creature can use its benefit to gain either damage reduction equal to half the table’s APL (minimum 1) or cold resistance equal to the table’s APL until the end of that encounter. Each PC and companion creature can select a different benefit.
