A large half-orc with a bunch of hilts and hafts sticking out of odd places walks into the room carrying a cold iron greatsword in his hands, seemingly in the middle of an argument. "Yes, Bert, I know you wanted me to enchant you, but it'd cost a lot more. 'sides, this little black beauty is made of special stuff." The half-orc lovingly pats the hilt of a sheathed falchion on his hip. "L'il Blackie will hold up a lot better in battle. Let's face it, Bert, ya are a little dinged and nicked up. Thought ya might like to see a little less action...What's that, Bert? Oh yeah, there is someone else here."

He turns to the dinosaur and its pet Mwangi and says, "I'm Urktar. This is Bert." He holds up the masterwork greatsword. "I'm da brawn, he's da brains. Nice to meet ya."

He then lets his words trail off hoping for a positive response and his shoulders slump a bit as he stands there.

He then starts to mutter a bit ..almost as if speaking to himself, but just loud enough to be heard

" ....it does not matter, if you've not heard of me or my exploits by now you surely will sooner or later....even though I was almost sure _someone_ would have heard about me by now...ah well...I'll show them, I'll show them all..."

Thran then proceeds to absentmindedly kick one of his feet against the floor, kicking pretend pebbles before looking up at the others presents.

Her stern features crumple into a smile as she realises she has not met any of you bfore. Oh, marvellous, it is always such a pleasure to meet new friends in these little expeditions. And what burly friends we have too.

My name is Argenta she says, moving through the group, smiling, touching an elbow here, ruffling the dinosaurs feathers there and generally getting to know people.

I am sure we are going to work well together, after all the venture captain would not have put us together if we would not do so she says with a somewhat mischeivious twinkle in her eye.

Seeing Tere causes the deinonychus to leap up, and practically fly over to the elf. Before anyone has a chance to react, they can see the little dino nuzzling up to Tere, sniffing. It is clear that he has worked with the elf before, and the elf has survived him.

Having seen Shredder in action, Tere can't help but start when the deinonychus closes with him. He quickly recovers, though, and ruffles the creature's feathered crest affectionately before looking around and noticing the unfamiliar faces in the room. "Oh! Sorry, I'm Tere di Montefeltro. ***OVERSEER ANNOUNCEMENT***

Months ago, agents of the Blakros Museum in Absalom stole a holy dagger—a relic of the Kellid Twinhorn following and the Shining Crusade from centuries ago. What seemed a simple dagger was key to keeping a powerful villain at bay, and the Pathfinder Society has allied with the Twinhorn following and its bold spiritual leader Medda in order to return the relic, use it to perform a ritual before midnight on the winter solstice, and stem an undead invasion. “We are only hours away from the stone circle and our encampment,” Medda announces. “If we are going to make it there by midnight, we need to press on. Once there, we will use Ivvora’s hilt to perform our time-honored ritual and keep evil from our lands.” Medda produces the small hilt of a broken weapon with only a fragment of its black metal blade remaining. “Let us move. There are dangers in these ancient woods: orc raiders, bears that topple trees, and worse. Stay in groups and don’t get lost.”

As the Kellids and Pathfinders reach the top of the hill next to the Twinhorn encampment, they notice splashes of blood and the occasional corpse dotting the landscape. Medda raises her voice, calling, “My brethren, our families are under attack! Secure the camp and drive back any who oppose you. Pathfinder allies, join us in defense of our home!” The landscape opens into a burned hillside where blackened trees stand like lifeless sentinels. A crude blockade shields the entrance to a natural cavern.

Table GMs, area H is now open. Once you have completed area H, you may proceed to areas I or J. The Deepening Shadows condition on page 14 is in effect.

Argenta casts glitterdust, hitting everything but orange and forcing a DC18 will save or be blinded. If they fail they get another save at the end of their turn to get rid of it.

Alaric gives Shredder a good boost as the excitable creature rushes forward to strike at the blinded face of one its target, shredding a good part of it showing why he earned that name.

If we're going to use the token just to use it I say we activate the bardic inspiration from it, if not I'll start to tell an inspiring story about smiting undead for the same bonus - so either way inspire courage is up for this round. If it doesn't take an action to activate the token and we go that route I still have an action left and I'll ready an attack

Argenta fires off another magical bolt which hits her target hard.
Urtar proves himself deadly with his bow as his second shot picks off the creature and it falls..

Varanog seeing no other target since his original target is down takes his frustration on a wounded zombie. It goes down as well.

Thran advances forward as his allies pick off the enemy one by one.
Alaric breaks into a run worried that his little Saurian friend may have bitten off more then it could chew but Shredder Shreds one and bites into another!

I assumed that the black dead trees(?) would block charging and I was actually using them to get some cover from. If they don't I could have charged myself or at least I wouldn't have blocked someone else charge line
