"Good morning my dear." Jimmy says as he wraps his arms around her, pulls her close to him and snuggles his face into the back of her neck
"Today is the big day! I'll finally meet your parents!" Gwenhwyfar states excitedly.
"Do we have to get up right now?" Jimmy whines into her hair
"No. We're to late for sunrise anyway." Gwenhwyfar replies giving in to the bed's gravity pulling at her.
"Does that mean we can stay here until the next?" Jimmy says before gently kissing her neck
"No. But we can enjoy this a bit longer for sure." Gwenhwyfar replies. A shiver running through her body from Jimmy's caressing.
"So long as you are enjoying it..." Jimmy says as he kisses her neck again. His hand now resting on her hip
"Mmmmmhhh." If she wouldn't lack the physiology she'd purr.
Encouraged by her reaction Jimmy gets a bit more adventurous. His hand begins to wonder around Gwen's hip, until his hand is firmly on her butt, which he gives a test squeeze
A slight tension builds in Gwenhwyfar's body as this moves from sleeping in in a cuddly position to something else.
Jimmy gauges Gwen's reaction to mean that she isnt enjoying that and quickly moves his hand back onto her hip and continues to gently kiss her neck
Gwenwhyfar goes back to her purring equivalent. After a while she asks "Shall I make us breakfast?"
"I am perfectly happy like this." Jimmy says holding her
Gwenwhyfar lets Jimmy be happy for some more time before telling "I'm hungry."
"Well then you should have said earlier." Jimmy says, and sighs before rolling away and sitting up
"Why?" Gwenhwyfar replies and gets up herself to prepare something.
Going through the provisions she whips up a hearty breakfast for two and serves it at the table.
"Because then I wouldn't have insisted on more cuddling. We could have eaten and always gone back to bed." Jimmy says as he watches her work in the kitchen
"Be happy. This way you got more cuddling. Because there is no way back to bed while it is day. I have my prayer time to prepare for the day and we need to prepare our travel." Gwenhwyfar replies.
"Are we telling the others where we go?"
"We really should, so they are still here when we return." Jimmy says smiling, "I certainly am happy."
Gwenwhyfar enjoys the meal she prepared. Once done she does the dishes and tidies the room. Then she tells "I still need a map. Wanna come along?"
To achieve that she goes over to the meeting house. In the room with the maps she finds one that is detailed enough to find Nybor and the way leading there on it. "See there it is - Nybor. And we came past this town here on our way to Kaer Maga - Wartle. That makes it easy." she tells pointing to a town a mere 50 miles away from Nybor.
"Indeed we did." Jimmy says as he stands behind her and looks over her shoulder at the map
"Then let us go and find the others and tell them we're gone for a few days." Gwenhwyfar puts the map back and leads the way to teh construction site of Abomentolor's new Brewery.
The construction made some progress. Over the last days Abomentolor completed the ramp leading up to the entrance to the point that a cart pulled by two horses can drive up to the entrance. With a nice curb to ensure no one goes over the edge into the sea. But once the first wagon was up there to upload some of the larger parts needed inside it became clear that it is a pain in the ass to steer the cart back down. As it is not possible to turn it around.
So until the delivery of large amounts of beer starts Abomentolor has to expand that private road all around the Irespan piling to allow for straight forward movement. Luckily for him brewing beer takes weeks. But because of this he is grumpy. He managed to bluff most of the people that this was the plan to start with. But he can't bluff himself. "What are you doing here. Looking what honest work looks like?"
"No, we just wanted to tell you, that we are away on a trip to Nybor for a few days." Gwenhwyfar tells. She is all excited about that which clearly shows.
"What do you want in that hick town?" Abomentolor asks with disgust showing on his face.
"We're visiting Jimmy's parents." Gwenhwyfar replies with a wide smile.
Abomentolor looks at Jimmy and at Gwenhwyfar and at Jimmy again. Turning around he calls "Tauriell, do you want to meet my family?"
"They are all gnomes, aren't they? Why should I?" Tauriell replies.
"Oh, come on. They are mostly nice and if they start humping your leg you may put them down." Abomentolor replies. "I haven't had a good gnome party in years."
"But what do you need me for with that?" Tauriell asks.
"To show off! Just come with me and be yourself: good looking and mean." Abomentolor teases her.
"To you, or your kinfolk?" Tauriell asks and adds "But that would mean long and strenuous travel again."
"No, it would be only a few minutes. I'll get us there in no time." Gwenhwyfar disagrees.
"See - no problem. And if it still turns out to be bad, we can burn it down and be back for breakfast tomorrow." Abomentolor tries to be persuasive.
"Ok, why not. Maybe I find out what went wrong with you to make you the gnome you are now." Tauriell jokes.
"That is great!" Gwenhwyfar exclaims and takes all three in a group hug.
And she speaks a word and you find yourself on the shore of the Yondabakari River at the edge of Wartle.
Looking around she checks that she is on target. "Just wait a minute here. I have to take a look where exactly Nybor is." She raises into the sky until she is out of sight. After a few minutes she comes gliding down again. "I think I've seen enough to get us there. We're lucky it's a clear day."
Going for the group hug again she teleports all to Nybor.
"That is not Nybor." Abomentolor states the obvious, rubbing his hurting head.
"So you're saying you didn't grow up in the woods?" Tauriell jokes as she dusts herself off.
"Why would I? I'm not an elf. Abomentolor replies.
"Touché." Tauriel says with a grin. "So how do we get out of the woods and back into civilization."
"I'm so sorry." Gwenhwyfar tells "I can right that, I have just to try..."
"Thank you, but no thank you!" Abomentolor rebukes the offer. He casts fly on himself and raises over the trees. "It is not too far. This direction." He points where he sees the houses and flies in that direction.
"Great. What's not too far?" Tauriell asks.
"We'll be there before I have to walk again." Abomentolor replies.
"I know his stamina. It can't be that far." Tauriell tells Jimmy and Gwenhwyfar. She starts walking in the direction Abomentolor took off to.
Jimmy chuckles at that and takes Gwen's hand, walking with her
The walk isn't far and they soon approach the edge of the woods, and the town.
As the buildings come into view he stops. "This is just as I remember."
He stands for a moment longer before walking in. "It has been quite a few years since I have been here..." he says as they pass one of the houses. He pauses at an intersection for a moment before steering them along a ring road towards the further edge of town.
"Do your parents have a big house? If not, we could look for a room first. Just in case." Gwenhwyfar suggests.
