"I'm sure you find the motivation to come up with a solution." Gwenhwyfar replies with a mischievous smile as she simply hops over the gate and walks up in direction of the fountain.
Well let's try the obvious first. Jimmy says as he makes sure the gate is actually locked
"Not exactly elegant" is how Jimmy would describe his attempt
Jimmy easily keeps his gasp quiet as he drops into the garden. As he walks he uses his lay on hands to quickly heal himself.
He stops a short distance away from Gwen and watches her for a moment
Gwenhwyfar takes off her shoes and sits down at the fountain, hanging her feet into the water. "I see you made it." she greets Jimmy.
"Not with quite as much ease as you." Jimmy says as he pulls of his shoes and sits next to her
Gwenhwyfar smiles drawing circles into the water with her feet.
"What are you thinking?" Jimmy asks as he watches her
"Nothing." Gwenhwyfar replies looking at the ripples in the water.
"Well I'm thinking about how lucky I am... And how special you are." Jimmy replies slowly. Looking up at the stars.
"Charmer!" she accuses him with a smile.
"I try." Jimmy says smiling back."Besides, you are easy to compliment."
Gwenhwyfar turns away from Jimmy and lays down on the rim of the fountain. Her head she rests on Jimmy's lap her eyes gazing at the stars.
Jimmy runs his hands through her hair. Smiling down at her. His eyes follow the curve of her cheeks and the nape of her neck. Wandering. He finds himself looking at her lips more often than not. He leans down and kisses her, holding her face gently.
Gwenhwyfar returns the kiss half heartedly still gazing into the stars as Jimmy releases her.
"What is wrong Gwen?" Jimmy asks looking down at her with concern
"Nothing. I just want to lie here and enjoy the view with you. See there how they form signs." she replies pointing at some stars that seem to cluster together.
Jimmy cranes his neck and looks up at the stars, "I have heard they have names, but I don't know them." Jimmy says watching her finger and trying to figure out which stars she points to
"I call that one dust bunny." Gwenhwyfar replies.
"Dust Bunny?" Jimmy says looking down at her with a silly smile
"Don't question the expertise of star astronomer Gwenhwyfar." she replies.
"Is there a dustpan and broom up there somewhere as well?" Jimmy says grinning
"No! This is a sky where Dust Bunny can roll all over the place without fear of such things." she explains. "And look there is the Giraffe."
"That one I can actually see." Jimmy says with a chuckle, "What is your favourite?"
"Over there: The Winslow!" Gwenhwyfar points at something that looks like a small reptilian floating in space.
"That makes even less sense than your dust bunny." Jimmy says with a laugh
"You are lucky that the Winslow doesn't care if you mock him." Gwenhwyfar scolds Jimmy.
"Tell me more."
"No. You are not worthy of the secrets of the Winslow." Gwenhwyfar replies trying to keep a straight face. But she fails and starts chuckling and then bursts out in laughter.
Jimmy sits there, with a very confused look on his face as he watches Gwen's outburst
"You know what? We're done now." Gwenhwyfar states.
After a long pause she adds "All business is taken care of and we can visit your parents now."
Jimmy goes into a panic at Gwen's words, unsure of her meaning. A held breathe escapes as she continues. "I think tomorrow would be better than today."
"How long is the travel?" Gwenwhyfar asks. "What is the name of the town?"
"They live in Nybor. It is about 200 miles up the Yondabakari River." Doing some quick maths in his head, "We could do it in a week on horse, ten days by cart. A sailboat could possibly manage in four days."
Gwenhwyfar jumps up "I need a map!"
"Don't tell me we are back to Heidmarch Manor now?"
"I don't know. Do you have a map with you?" Gwenhwyfar asks.
"Of the two of us you expect me to be the one to have a map." Jimmy says as he can't help but laughing
Approaching Jimmy again and pressing herself at him Gwenhwyfar asks "What did you bring to our romantic night out?"
"It was so spontaneous I didn't quite have time to plan anything. So for our romantic night, it is you me and the stars."
"Then let's move closer to the stars." Gwenhwyfar replies stroking carefully with the back of her hands over Jimmy's cheeks looking him into the eyes with a smile. For Jimmy it feels like he is floating and the world starts turning around them.
Jimmy looks away for amount, and then around. After a moment he looks Gwen in the eyes once more and says "The view certainly is beautiful up here"
"Indeed it is." Gwenhwyfar replies while raising further up into the air. The houses become smaller and smaller with the windows just being specks of light in the darkness of the night. A fresh breeze blows up there.
Jimmy smiles as he watches the horizon drop away behind Gwen as his eyes are fixed on hers
Gwenhwyfar shivers. She snuggles up at Jimmy her lower lip shaking. "Hold me warm." she begs. She rests her head on Jimmy's chest and watches the town below while still turning slowly.
"I was hoping you would ask." Jimmy says wrapping his arms around her. He is obviously rather excited by the whole situation, being so close to Gwen floating in the sky. Gwen would have to be numb from the cold not to notice
"There is something in your pocket that's poking me." Gwenhwyfar complains.
"Ummmm... These pants don't have pockets." Jimmy says, his face burning in the cold air. He does however try to angle away from her slightly
