Jimmy cuddles back into Gwen's arms and is soon fast asleep again himself
Shortly before noon someone knocks at the door. "The room is only paid for one night. You have to get out now, or pay another night."
"What's the price?" Jimmy asks the voice at the door
"Two gold." the voice replies.
"Then leave us to sleep." Jimmy replies as he pulls Gwen close and cuddles her until he is asleep again
"I will, once you paid." the voice insists.
"Leave now and you will get 5."
Gwenhwyfar yawns and stretches. "Now I'm hungry. I'm going to eat you!" she says and puts her teeth on Jimmy's shoulder while making growling noises.
"I don't know you. And you are not even the one who rented that room to start with. You pay up front now, or I come in."
"I am Jakobs lad, the lady who rented the room is my fiancee, now leave us be." Jimmy will reply again.
He then nips Gwen's ear softly as her sharp teeth dig into his shoulder
"You're going to treat me to breakfast or should I get serious?" Gwenhwyfar mumbles with her mouth full, putting a little more pressure on her teeth.
"I wonder what you can do with those teeth." Jimmy says with a grin not having heard anything from the door again
Letting go of his shoulder Gwenhwyfar states "You're such a tease!" She pokes him with her finger in the belly.
"Come here." Jimmy says as he rolls on top of her and kisses her for a moment. He then rolls again to the edge of the bed and sits there for a moment looking at her before standing to get dressed. "Lets see what we can do about food."
Seeing that the hunger is severely limiting Gwen's cognitive abilities Jimmy pulls on his clothes and stands, "I will be back soon." He says giving Gwen a kiss on the forehead as he goes to make a plan.
He steps outside and calls over the first child he sees. "I will pay you 5 gold to bring me 1 of every type of fruit in the market. I will pay for the fruit as well, and you will get more if you are quick. What do you say?"
In front of the door he finds the woman demanding the payment for the room. Holding out her hand she repeats "Two gold."
"You need to give me the money for the fruits first." The kid replies.
Gwenhwyfar rolls over to the side of the bed but rolls too far and manges to fall out. She lands sitting beside the bed instead of on it. She pushes herself up and scuffles to the door. Opening the door and looking up and down the floor she sees the woman collecting the room fare and asks "Food?" In her mind it was a full sentence, but most of it didn't make it on the way out.
"The breakfast buffet is served on floor level, past the reception." The woman replies without looking.
Jimmy pulls out his coin pouch and hands her two gold. She can easily see that he has the gold to have paid her the 5 had she left. "You cost yourself 3 gold." Jimmy says as he makes his way downstairs.
He hands the child 1 gold and says "I want good stuff. If that runs out come back with what you have and I will give you more." Jimmy says flipping a coin to the boy
And off the kid goes.
Jimmy watches the kid run off before following his nose. He finds Gwen lurching towards the food and makes to help her to a table and rushes to bring her some bread. He then kisses her forehead once again before saying "I will be right back" before making his way back outside to wait for the fruit.
Gwenhwyfar would have scuffled right to the buffet indulging on the goods but Jimmy manages to lead her with tasty bakery goods to lure her at a table. There she chews on the bread. But soon her eyes start to wander to the other goods presented there. "Food!" she voices before she gets up again to get more and different kinds of food.
After a time that feels like forever the kid comes back with a sack full of fruits. It is a collection of different apples, some pears, and handful of assorted nuts. the kid hands the sack over and holds out her hand.
Jimmy hands over 5 gold before rushing inside with his sack of fruit. He leads Gwen back to the table again with a pear
Almost 6 gold made with an easy job. The kid decides to camp in front of the inn just in case more jobs come along that way.
Gwenhwyfar comes to the table again but only after grabbing a hand full of fried sausages at the buffet. "nomnom" Slowly she wakes from her Food-Zombie stupor.
Jimmy puts the fruit on the table and watches Gwen. He grabs an apple and chomps away on that
Gwenhwyfar takes another round at the buffet. This time in a civilized manner with a plate. She collects some of the delicious things she likes most and enjoys them at the table. "You are not hungry?" She asks as Jimmy is content with just an apple. Last she takes an apple too - a beautiful red shining apple.
"Not overly hungry no." He says. As she bites into her apple Jimmy stands, collects a plate and grabs himself a few sausages and some bacon
"So what are we going to do today? Chose a wedding dress, a temple, a date, make a guest list?" Gwenhwyfar asks.
"Maybe we should tell people first?" Jimmy asks
"Why? Isn't it better to have some things clarified before telling others about it?" Gwenhwyfar asks.
"I suppose we could do it that way... Should we finish the house first?"
"I don't think the one has something to do with the other. We know several priests. Once we decided on the temple - I would prefer Sarenrae, but having my mum do the wedding feels strange. Fater Zantus would be great though. So once we decided on a temple with what small number of people we would invite the biggest issue is the dress. But with our favourite tailor in Magnimar this isn't much of an issue."
"I guess with some effort we could manage to marry on sunday." Gwenhwyfar states.
"Well all I want is my parents, you obviously want your mum. Who else would you like to be there?"
"Well, Tauriell, Abomentolor, Niamh, should we invite Hector?, I guess Carl and the other guy we could invite, do you think the kids from the orphanage want to come? Maybe Mrs. Heidmarch, her husband, oh my... that are a lot of people."
"I don't really want them all at the wedding. They are all welcome to the reception, but I would like to keep the ceremony small." Jimmy says thinking
"Who'm would you want? Or should I ask whom not?"
"I only want my parent's and your mum, and the priest obviously." Jimmy replies, "And you?"
"I would want everyone who knows us and is happy for us to get married." Gwenhwyfar replies in a very overexcited way.
"I don't want the ceremony to be 'exciting'. I want it to be romantic, and sincere. The party afterwards can be exciting and all of that."
"The people are all sitting quiet in the temple during the ceremony, don't they? I don't see how that is a difference if there are 10 or 100 sitting in the pews. But they can see and hear how we give each other our wedding vows!" Gwenhwyfar shares her thoughts. "I don't see the idea behind having them come to a party after the reason for the party from which they were excluded."
"Do you really expect Tauriell, or Abomentollor to keep quiet?"
"Maybe they make some stupid jokes with each other. But they wouldn't call into the ceremony, would they?"
"Do you really expect Abomentollor not to do everything he can to draw attention to himself?" Wondering if Gwen has met their companions
"Probably. But not at the ceremony. Maybe he'd spend the beer for the party and make sure everyone has seen his counterfeit on the bottles or something. But what would he do in the temple? Interrupt the priest while preaching?" Gwenhwyfar lacks the fantasy to come up with a situation in which this would make sense even for a self-centered mind like Abomentolor.
"Wouldn't he though?" Jimmy says looking at her tilting his head
"You don't think he would manage to sit through the ceremony? I mean the priest is not going to provoke him in any way."
