As a note, Sleep is a full-round cast time. You start it this round and it goes off at the beginning of your turn next round. It has the same cast time as a summon spell.
I am aware of that. I did not move or take any other actions. That is simply what I am doing until my turn comes around again.
I'd never noticed that. I did notice it only affects up to 4 HD though. Seems unlikely that this beasty would be lower than our level though. Guess we'll see if it works.
Can't hurt to try. No sense in using a higher level spell if it isn't needed.

Yea, I misread the initial post by Zhan. I'm going to continue assuming the party went with him. It looks like everybody but Silent has gone with, but I'm sure once everybody leaves, Silent will too. He seemed rather uneasy at the wreck.
Robert: I'll bot your character only if I need to. Probably after 24 hours or so. I'm not too good at being a bot though, so hopefully I'll get it close enough. Don't stress if you can't get online, it happens.
Silent will follow the majority of the party. His primary goal is to make sure Kiwyn doesn't get herself killed following everyone. Until he realizes she's not as weak as she looks, that'll be his main goal. Secondary right now is figuring out those dwarven runes and seeing if he can get some new armor plans from them.

Are you house ruling CMD? Normally it isn't an opposed check. Its a static number not a bonus to a roll.
Normally a creature's CMD is 10+BaB+str+dex+size mod.
OH GOD! I totally forgot. hold on, let me redo the CMD.
Whew. I've seen GMs that do CMD as an opposed roll. I learned not to play combat maneuver builds in games like that. I was a little worried.
I'm still considering reworking Simon. He's *way* underpowered for our level.
I don't think so. I mean I've never played a monk, but he seems pretty decent so far. I guess part of it could be from dropping from Full BAB to medium with the multi-classing.
It's not that. He doesn't have a problem hitting and he has good defenses. It's his damage output. All his feats are tied up in setting up for later levels. Right now he does 1d6 damage, or 1d3 damage at a range of 15 feet, and he doesn't threaten at reach with the whip yet.
To be functional he needs that and an Agile whip, but that's a level or two away.
We'll get there. Probably decently soon.
3.5 and Pathfinder don't have any facing rules, meaning you always get an AoO regardless of what direction you are facing, so long as you are capable of making one (are armed and haven't already made your max number of AoO's).
There is a Selective Channelling feat that the cleric could have taken if he wanted to avoid harming his allies.

No no. At least the way I understand it, you join my campaign as players, I give you control of your character emblem, and when it's your turn to act, just make your action :)

Running away is a bad idea because then there's a bunch of undead roaming the countryside. Simon would really prefer to deal with them now.
Well, consider the fact that Kiwyn and silent are still near the town square, and your group was slowly exploring, only a few minutes has passed (probably 15-20). Realistically speaking, you probably weren't more than a couple thousand feet away. You're between about 1/4 and 1/3 of a mile away.
EDIT: Yes. The jail is near the barracks, which is close to the town square. So you're group is about a 45 second ride away, the other group is about a 1.5-2 minute run (without mounts) and 1 min with mounts.

Omg almost three days without updating, I appologize. I had a 60 hour week this week. I was exhausted and decided to spend yesterday sleeping instead of doing...well, anything really.
Ok, so, we locked the prisoner in the cell, then I went back outside. The zombies started to rise. Meridian went to a window or something, and took a shot down the street helping clear the way while I got people's attention with the horn.
The rest of the group came running. Meridian locked himself in with the prisoner. The rest of us are headed inside now.
Is that a pretty good recap?
Um, except for one thing. Meridian shot a zombie that was inside the building, not out through a window.
