sorry about the elemental but I hate that guy
Zandu pokes the unconscious woman with a nearby stick before shrugging "well at least we have a captive.. he says as he starts getting healed with his wand "hmm I wonder if they were getting ready for the murderer ghost" he says as he starts rummaging through pockets for clues.

Zandu laughs "now why would we want to do that? I know you Taldans may have some honor things you uphold but us Kelish ... now we are merchants and unless you have a currency to pay with I would rather not waste a potential resource... besides I'm sure you would fetch a pretty copper in the right market " he says as he pulls out a dagger and holds it near her neck.

oh noes interweb ate my long post
Zandu takes a moment to ponder several of the questions striking several poses similar to statues of philosophers and great thinkers before speaking "Well I guess the first and most simple would be why are you doing this"
what lies ahead of us
" where is Adril
"what happened to VC Eliza and did your group harm the pathfinders down stairs"
"what is your favorite color?"
"have they encountered a ghost that kills people yet"
"who are her compatriots and what were they doing here? and are their more groups ahead?"
is she married or in a significant relationship
"why does she want to die?
Is she even a pathfinder or former pathfinder and what is her connection with Adril
sorry for all the questions Gm but their seems to be some rather great back story here I hope
| DM Feral |
The woman seems genuinely puzzled by most of Zandu's questions.
"I don't know what's above or below us. We never got off this floor. Shemis thawed us out of stasis, stuck weapons in our hands, and told us to kill anyone that came up here. The others had the bright idea of escaping but the golems in the other room kept us from making it down the stairs. I guess I like green. Wait, what ghost? And who's Adril?"
Zandu K. Rool
|
Zandu looks perplexed and for a rare moment finds himself speechless taking a moment he continues "stasis? and how many were thawed out? Also Adril is kinda like me I guess except ugly, mean, rude, and here to kill Shemis.... so nothing like me when you think about it... so ummm why were you in stasis
| DM Feral |
"There was four of us originally, I think. The half-orc snuck off right away. I don't know if he got away or the golems got him. The Ten keep us inside the mirrors in stasis because we're 'too dangerous' for normal Society work. They only thaw us out when there's something really tough that needs doing. I assume once whatever's going on is over they'll freeze me again. I'd rather die."
Zandu K. Rool
|
" 'too dangerous' what does that mean also what is your name? Zandu says with a little pity for the lady."also whos blood is this on the floor he says as he points to the blood trail his friends found earlier.
Sm cause this sounds kinda fishy: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (19) - 2 = 17
well if anyone else has questions ask away Zandu will knock her out again and tie her up when we are done with the questions
Zarzuket "Shade"

Shade heals up with some taps from thr wand as Moonlight does it while Shade casts detect magic to see if these fallen foes have anything of use getting it and handing it out if there, and if nothing nodding and trlepahically saying time to hurry on

"Wait, so you serve Shemis, and not Adril? That must mean Adril either hasn't made it up this far, or he teleported somehow..."

Adaxis

If yer too dangerous, then what are da Ten gonna do wit us? How long have yew been frozen fer?
Adaxis clicks his heals to deactivate his boots of speed and completely heals himself with a cure light wounds wand (26 charges used) and then gathers loot from the dead bodies. He holds up each trinket and repeatedly asks Shade what each magical item does until he is ignored.
Reminds me of the movie Demolition Man

I tink it is 4710 AR, but much has happened with da Society in last few years.
I search for a timeline by Pathfinder Seasons or scenario, but no luck.
Zandu K. Rool

"Simon says sleep. Zandu says as he delivers the peoples elbow to knock her out and ties her up making sure to cover her with a rug or debris.
So I think we should follow the blood trail that was pointed out... following the bodies hasn't led us wrong yet"
Butyl Ithyomsson
|
"Well, except for the part where we just wiped out the people guarding the person we're trying to protect. But agreed, let's go. If Adril hasn't passed through here, he surely found a shortcut."
| DM Feral |
Following the trail of blood leads the party through the hallway on the right. Surprisingly, what appears to be a short 15 foot long hallway (#18) turns out to be some kind of dimensional trick and is over 100 feet long. Eventually the hallway opens into a wedge-shaped room (#19), its outer wall bisected by a spherical chamber. Blackened, lightning-shaped streaks run across the walls and floors. In the middle of the spherical chamber floats an ebon gemstone with fifteen facets. Long chains forged from a strange blue alloy run from the center of each facet to the chamber walls.
This looks to be the stasis prison the brawny woman mentioned a moment ago.
Zandu K. Rool
|
Speak for yourself we are being paid by the body and very well I might add. Also we might even be ahead of him for the first time since we started this. See positive thoughts so much better to focus on those. Zandu says to Butyl
Adaxis
|
Adaxis chuckles at Zandu's remarks, collects the loot and investigates the northwestern room (near #17).
| DM Feral |
The floor of this chamber is inlaid with giant circular mosaic of the four primary elements divided into quarters that swirl counter-clockwise. A brass plaque encircles the mosaic, engraved with a passage that reads: “The shortest year has five seasons of fire.”
In the northwest corner, a short passage leads to a door.
Zandu K. Rool
|
Zandu looks at the swirl skeptically.
I think vote for most suspicious looking room goes to this one. Are we still in take 10 perception mode? Also is some knowledge check available for this room?
Zandu K. Rool
|
Zandu lets his more observant and less sickened party mates inspect the room before entering looks at the levers then the walls around them.
"we could try to cut through the walls or possibly try to figure out what these levers are for" he says as he resists the urge to pull the big silver lever.
Butyl Ithyomsson

Crap, I already used my Engineer's Workgloves today! Can I make an Engineering check to learn anything about what these levers do?
