Thank you, give me until the end of today to update Alexia and I'll be ready.

It just won't be the same without the Bear Cub.

Hey all, this is the first time I've logged into Paizo in what feels like a month.
Just a perfect storm of pregnant wife health issues, crazy-time at work, and community obligations. I feel really embarrassed I was gone so long without a word, but I have enough room to breath that I wanted to get back and see the state of things.
Sorry for the disappearing act but I feel confident the worst of the storm is past and I can get back onto the boards.
Did Chorister lose his place in the game? I wouldn't blame anyone if he did. Let me know and sorry again!

Since I'm not the DM, I'll say nothing but "as long as 3 encounters are finished with a character around, they can get XP, but I know Feral is cutthroat about skipping people in his recruitment thing.
... But then I saw Feral posted in gameplay that you're around, so, yeah. Never mind!
Sen Tarlpan

Hey, Good Alignment people can be cutthroat! Just in a nicer way. (Says the LN pushing LE guy.)
Then again, I don't actually follow your Super Recruitment Bonanza and notice any time lapses between callings and no-shows since you're running stuff I can't play (which is usually pretty likely, do ho ho.)

I have an *ugh* dental appointment in the morning, so posting may be slim tomorrow, but don't worry. I haven't forgotten you.

That's what I thought, too. Favored weapon is a Short sword, but he never seemed super martial, and (from what I've seen) the "striving to be heroic" thing could work for Chorister.

I also want to note that while Top Man Matt may be excellent at builds, dming, theories, and other good RPG skills, I seriously doubt he could spell his way out of a paper bag. So that name has a pretty good chance of being spelled wrong.

I'd actually hold onto it regardless, if only for the virtue of having a Bludgeoning weapon. Skeletons and whatnot. It's easily one of the best Simple weapons, and pretty iconic for Clerics.

I really want to dip into Barbarian (Hurler) only to get another 10 feet on throwing distance for my shuriken, but I also really want to get up to Weapon Spec as soon as possible and get tasty, tasty weapon training...

It's been enjoyable. I feel that no feedback is good feedback. Most people are too happy to complain, but less so to compliment. From my standpoint, it moved a little fast, but that's just me. Still lots of fun, though!

It has given me a better idea of Alexia's limitations at low levels, however. When she makes about fifth, she'll be formidable, but until then, the best she can do is zone defense.

I've been very pleased/satisfied. I understand about time issues as you well know. I would be interested, but as stated, have done the City of Strangers and Shades of Ice arcs.

I’m fine for more games, though I’m wishing there was a way to rebuild after you play at level 2. I’m thinking I’d prefer a regular melee weapon like he had to begin with. I thought the reach thing would be fun, but it’s not my cup of tea.

Even moreso than Ryster, I have played a LOT. I literally have one 1-5 I can play for credit. Dropping out is no issue for me, since I've pretty much come to terms with the fact I play too much, do ho ho.
As for speed, Feral and Red have faster-paced games while people like myself have games where I forget I'm running decide to play Assassin's Creed or some other "new" game have random short breaks in play (though I focus harder during running combat, because flow is super important then.) It's all a preference thing, really.
@Rhyno: You can rebuild using Ultimate Combat and retraining rules. It costs 5 prestige per day, but it's not too bad. Reach is EXCELLENT when it's excellent. Combat Reflexes and Reach can shut down an entire combat, though I'm a pretty big fan of reach weapons in general.

You can rebuild using the Ultimate Campaign rules, it costs PP and gold.
Ninja'd of course

Not sure. I always get OCD with warrior because with all the feats and cool options, I want to play a dozen different things. Do I go power attack/cleave? Trips? Intimidating prowess?
I might just pick up a second melee weapon for when things get up close and personal. Maybe multiclass into Monk for some Crane Style Shenanigains
Sen Tarlpan

Ninja/figher'd
Crane style won't do you too good with a 2h weapon. Though I do have an Unarmed Fighter who actually uses a Bec de Corbin for reach; that's always a fun way to threaten locally. The other fun way is the Boot Blade from the Adventurer's Armory. It's a knife-boot, prevents 5' steps, but is fun to whip out when needed.
You could always look into this if you just want to wield a BUNCH of polearms effectively (since they have variable amounts of reach.)

I'd be up for another series. Can maybe get Alexia up a level or two. She would be my first PFS character to reach 5th.

I've had a good time with the game, as for speed it seemed a tad jumpy at times. Jumping from event to event/fight to fight. For myself that's kind of how I like to play, the exciting stuff. This has been a very fun experience for me.
Also I'm not sure that was more a reflection on your GM style or our own level of involvement (or lack of it) in the roleplaying aspect of the game. For PFS I think I like the jumpier type of game, as PFS seems intended to be shorter and more event driven/goal based style of Pathfinder.
I'm always up to play more, although I do play too much as it is, and I had my extended 'moment of silence' for awhile during the game.

Step 1: Buy the Pathfinder Society Field Guide
Step 2: Go to the Vanities chapter.
Step 3: Spend PA.
Step 4: Roll intimidate with your new, mean caravan.
Step 5: Profit!

my laptop officially gave up the ghost yesterday. my geekRadar tells me the motherboard is the culprit. it's a work computer, which is 100% essential for my job, so i'm hoping for a quick turnaround. at the moment i'm using my wifes laptop -the availability of which is typically very dear.
just an fyi and i'll do my best to post as i'm able while my new comp gets to me.

Just a little side note. I created a thread that sevrves as a place just to muster and shoot the sh*t, here
The Gameplay is still used for in-character stuff and discussion for...well..dicussing things. Feel free to drop in. Sen already knows of it and I thought Feral did too, but perhaps not.
