Vik wrote:
How far is the goblin to Vik? And what items need to be cut/removed before the ship is able to move?

The goblin is within move distance of vic, close to the main mast. At 40 feet movement you're in a good position to get to most threats at the moment.

One mooring rope is left. The gangplanks are lashed to the guard rails and will certainly slow the ship, but they could easily rip free if enough momentum was built up. The ship is nowhere near ready to sail though, as only about 1 1/2 minutes have passed since the swarming started. It would take nearly 5 minutes to get rigged enough to get under sail with enough force to pull those lashed gangplanks free. There are three gangplanks, but one has already been cut free and will fall aside easily enough when the ship moves.

Note that with people on te ganglplank, the weight is almost impossible to shift by hand, they will have to slide out sidewards when the ship moves.

Note the ship can start moving before five minutes with only small sails out but it is very slow.

Also, for Bo-Dan and Paera, a perception (sight) check. DC is 15 due to you focusing on combat rather than your immediate surroundings.

Spoiler:
A series of bluish green lights have sprung up below the water line of the ship and seem to be throbbing

Paera, if you make that perception

Spoiler:
These look very similar to the Elemental junction lights that ring the hull of an Airship, only their light is a different colour.

Taking note of the goblin and trying to relish the fact that an enemy is close enough to strike Vik moves to the goblin with his great axe in hand and swings for the fences.

The noise grows more intense by the moment but Algret breathes deeply, centering her mind and focusing on the task at hand. She takes careful aim at the next approaching bee, barely noticing the arrow riccocheting off the field around her.

Another vitriolic projectile streaks toward the lead bee, and finds its mark. Ranged touch 1d20=15, 1d6=6

Her keen eyes catching something in their periphral vision, Bo-Dan notices the lights and taking but a moment in her combat vigilance says "Paera! You see those? Is that part of the ship?" never for a moment losing focus on her foes.

Crow's Nest

Spoiler:
Paera's grim satisfaction at helping to put one of the bees down lasted only until she saw the other bees still in flight.

"Is what what?" Paera yelled over the buzzing as she took aim at the closest of the bee riders still in the air. She swore her eyes must have been bouncing in their sockets. She glanced where Bo-Dan pointed, but only for a fraction of a second before jerking her head back and letting her arrow loose.

Will update what we have so far.

Bo-Dan notices something unusual about the ship and tries to point it out to his companion, but to no avail.

In the few brief seconds it took for the monk to focus on the ship, the bees crested the stern of the ship. Two of three remaining insects zone in on the yellow substance on the deck and immediately land. As they do, the wicker basket slung below them crakcs along weak points and lets forth it's crew of Goblinoids. In all, 6 goblins step forth from the baskets, momentarily staggered from their unorthadox delivery to the ship. They are dressed in elaborately coloured laquered armour of leather and wood. Bows are slung across their backs and they wield shields and short swords in their hands. One of them is dressed in much better armour and wields a sword two handed. What would be a longsword for a human sized opponent becomes a double handed weapon for the goblin. This one immediately begins barking orders in goblinoid.

Goblinoid

Spoiler:

"Get to the wheel, stop this ship from leaving the docks or its all our hides. Damn them for dropping the chanter into the drink!!

The third bee moves further along the deck, heading to the prow of the ship and the second yellow patch before being struck by an acid dart and an arrow. It is quite heavily wounded and almost tumbles to the deck before righting itself and continuing on.

The wasp riders have now picked Algret as a serious threat and two more arrows fly her way. Another rider swoops up towards the crows nest but cannot get a bead on the two up here due to maneuvering through the ropes. The rider that had been struck by Dergo's blast steers the wasp away from the ship and heads back over the wall, its cries of panic and pain clearly audible above the battle. The fifth rider continues to circle the crows nest and takes another pot shot at the two half elves.

Vik, dashes across the deck, dodging through the maddened group of humans on the deck and brings his axe down on the goblin who had crashed only moments before. The creature barely had time to raise its shortsword before the axe swept down and caved in its skull, a spray of black blood arcing up and splashing across the Ulfens face.

Ok still got Dergo to act for this round. Also, Bo-Dan you can make an attack this round, though it should be limited to bees or wasp riders as technically you go before the bees land. Milhar may be back today as well, so will give him a chance to act too. The two bees that have landed are busily gathering up the yellow stuff and are not making overt threats.

The group of goblins with the leader have been deposited between the stairs leading up to the aft castle. This puts them dangerously close to Algret, Milhar and Dergo. The second group landed bang in the centre of the aft castle. Right near the cpatain. They are not flat footed but have acted this round, getting out and weapons ready.

The last bee is directly over the cargo hold as its move rate is slowed. Next round it will try to land near the forecastle unless something happens to it in the meantime.

Attacks on algret 1d20+3=17, 1d4=3, 1d20+3=17, 1d4=4. As far as i can tell that's two solid hits on you Algret. Make a single fort save please. The way I do multiple doses of poison is to increase the DC for a save per dose rather than multiple saves. Hope you're ok with that. Also, since that is a significant amount of damage, I'm happy if you'd like to rethink your action for this round. Technically that damage happened beofre you unleahsed your acid dart. It also points out a flaw in the way im running combats but we'll deal with that later.

Attack on Paera - 1d20+3=20, 1d4=1. That's also a hit i belive, but check my numbers. Make a fort save please, poison based.

Attack on Bo-Dan - 1d20+3=22, 1d4=2. And another hit. Goblins comin back. No extra save required Bo, but when you make your save for the one minute effects of teh poison it will have a slightly higher DC.

Things just got a bit more tense

Female Dwarf Cleric of Torag 2

Fort save 1d20+7=26 Yep, pretty sure if you roll te exact number needed it goes to the attacker. Will let action stand and will wait to post next round's action. Hope I'm not killed before that.

Female Half Elven/Half Human Monk/2

The stoic Monk only cries out softly as the second arrow strikes her. Taking a moment to rip both arrows out she whirls another bullet (1d20+3=10, 1d4+4=6) at the bee yet to land. At the same time, seeing her heart friend struck she calls out "Pea! Are you ok!"

Damn it! We need to take that bee down!

How close are the goblins to Vik

Vik wrote:
How close are the goblins to Vik

Vik is right next to the main mast. The goblins are between the stairs at the aft deck leading up to the Stern castle. You could try to charge but will need to make an accrobatics check due to all the people between you and the goblins. Or you could make a double move pretty easily, you just miss an attack. Note that the goblins act before your initiative so will probably change position by the time you get there. It would be better if you tell me a specific target rather than just "goblins" so I can modify the action as needed. The goblin captain is standing flanked on either side by a commando. Cheers.

Female Half-Elf (Varisian) Rogue 1

Yep, it's a hit.

Fortitude Save: 19!

"Bo-! AHH!" Paera screamed in shock as she was struck herself. Biting her lip as she pulled the arrow out, she nervously answered Bo-Dan. "Y-yeah!" She had no idea if she was or not though.

If that's enough to make the save:

Gritting her teeth in anger now, she let another arrow fly towards the bee Bo had her attention on, but her wounded arm hampered her aim.

Ranged Attack: 13

She also screamed at the top of her lungs at the deck, hoping her voice would carry past the noise of the bees. "EVERYBODY! HOLD ON TO SOMETHING!!"

If it isn't:

"Bo! They're shiplights!" She couldn't quite understand why they were under the waterline though.

after reading again, the closest goblin(s) near Algret, is/are the ones I want to aim for right now. It might be time for all those souls on the ship what is traveling with them ;) so what checks do I need to get close to Algret

Vik wrote:

A double move will do it. You can potentially move 80 feet in a double move so you'll be near Algret with no difficulty. Since you're trying to travel a direct straight line for a charge or anything, you don't even need to make a balance check. Algret is just outside the 40 feet single move action sorry to say. But this will put you near enough to her to prevent any threat from the deck without them also having to deal with you. It may make no difference to the aeirial threat though.

Also note, Algret has made herself a bit of a target by standing high on the rail near the gangplank and launching acid bolts :). Depending on the actions of others, that threat range may vary next round.

Cheers

Dergo grinned at his lucky shot, and pulled back for another blast of the vile, angry force he had inside him. This time, his sadistic satisfaction began to color the energy, adding sickly greens and yellows.

"You didn't think it'd be so easy, right" He hissed as he let the next one fly. Some voice whispered to him what the wasp-riders were after, but that could wait until after they were beaten back,

Male Ulfen(shifter) Barbarian 2

Seeing the goblins touchdown and Algret getting hit with arrows, Vik just screams in primal outrage not going rage, yet;) and heads towards Algret. *double move* Hoping his scream distracts some of the goblins close to her.

Female Dwarf Cleric of Torag 2

The stranger's touch takes enough of the edge off the pain to get her mind and body moving again.

Taking a moment to pull the arrows out of her wounds, Algret focuses through the pain. Her birthmark glows and pulses again calling Torag's energy into her body. Channel positive energy 1d6=6

As the wounds begin to close and the pain subsides she sees a sight that makes her heart sing. Vik rushing accros the deck to impose himself between herself and the goblins.

"Torag bless his wild heart," she mutters to herself,"time to do what we do best."

Jumping down from the railing (5ft step), hammer ready she prepares for the filthy little monsters to come.

Bo-Dan's stone is released with force, but again her accuracy is somewhat questionable as the stone flies wide. To her horror she watches it swirl into the crowd milling on the deck. No seems to fall but she can't tell if anyone was struck.

Dergo unleashes another hatefilled bolt at the group of goblinoids that just touched down but it skims past the goblins head as it reflexively ducks. When it looks up again, its eyes are gelaming with malice.

Algrets pain is very great after the two arrows strike home. Without warning she feels a warm hand grab her around the ankle and a sense of wellbeing flows through her. She can smell a summer field of flowers and pine, and for the briefest of moments the sky seems brighter and clear. Looking down, she see the robed man who spoke to them earlier slowly remove his hand from her, before turnign back to unfolding battle.

Ok to finish out this round, Dergo attacks one of the nearest goblins, randomly determined 1d20+3=9, 1d6=1. Milhar uses his bloodline to try and heal Algret.1d6=1, unfortunately not a great deal.

Dergo

Spoiler:

TN I am going to use the default of you attacking the nearest opponent if that's ok. Unless you specify otherwise in your posts I'll stick with that assumption, Cheers. Also, are you happy with me rolling for you at this stage. I understand your really busy atm so was just running with that. I'm fine with it as long as you are.

Algret

Spoiler:

Mark, I wanted to use Milhar's ability to try and prevent you going under next round. May not work out that way though. Hope you don't mind the DM fiat there. Cheers

To all players
That sees out that round of combat. Next round Vik needs to make a DC 12 will save as the remaining bee flies over his head. Also, Vik has already posted his action for the round as he plans to un towards Algret and offer her some protection. Everyone also please make a DC15 perception (sound) check to hear

Spoiler:
Paera is calling from the crows nest for everyone to grab hold of something quickly

Edit: Ninja'd by algret. Algret has also gone for this round too :)

Ok I'm back and you have just written what I was about to do last round. Luckily Wrath you rolled a better touch attack but I think Algret's AC is 10 so both of us would have missed. Anyway Milhar stunning bee drone save got a 15. That's last round.

The grey man takes a moment to let his cloak fall away revealing twin short swords then he places a hand to one of his shoulders, trying to search for the inner lines of magic woven into his arm. He soon finds it and a momentary blue shield glows into existence before disappearing casts shield.

Then the man retrieves one sword looking around for where the most need is in the crowded decks.

Fate has swamped the ship with helpless souls and now I must defend them from the horde.

"Does anyone speak Goblin!" he shouts.

Spoiler:
Perfectly fine with me. As you rightly noticed, I am pretty preoccupied right now

Dergo had no idea, what the sudden alarm was supposed signify, but he knew better than to question it, and ducked back towards the trapdoor he had entered the deck from. Grasped the edge as hard as he could.

Through the constant droning Vik manages to keep his wits about him, and continues to move to help out Algret. When he reaches his target he has his axe ready for some goblin fun. Finaly some action I can get in on

Some wild weather coming in tonight. I may have to delay posting till morning Brisbane time. Sorry about that.

Hearing his companion call for her to brace, Bo-Dan ducks into the relative cover of the crows nest and pushes in gainst the wooden walls of the little platform, concealing her from the swooping wasp rider. She is joined only moments later by Paera, a look of wild excitement and fear on her face.

The two riders remaining low on the deck are suddenly torn between targets. The hated dwarf was still standing tall on the rail, having taken two of their best shots, yet a giant of a man had just split the head of their companion while he tried to rise. In the end they split the difference, each taking aim at a different target but in the confusion, allowing the shots to go wide. Arrow attack on Algret 1d20+3=6, 1d4=4, Arrow attack on Vik1d20+3=6, 1d4=4

The raiding force of goblin commandos springs into action. The three on the stern castle move unneringly to engage the captain and the helmsman of the ship. Both seamen draw weapons and defend themselves but the helmsman takes a vicious cut to his ribs. For his part, the captain manages to run his sabre through one of the goblins but it stays standing, blood pouring from its mouth as it tries desperately to cut him back. The attack is weak and the blade falls from its weakening fingers as it staggers to its knees before toppling sidwards to die on the deck. The third goblin steps into the captain and drives his blade deep into the mans leg, and all can clearly hear the weapon grate as it strikes bone.

The three on the main deck seem to bicker in goblinoid very briefly, with the one Dergo nearly struck moving to attack the warlock before being called back to task. They turn and dash up the stairs, heading to surround the beleagured captain and helmsman, but unable to bring weapons to bear. The Goblin leader stands at the top of the starboard stairwell to try and prevent any others from getting to the landing.

The wounded bee finally gets into a position over the yellow marker and lands heavily on the deck, its injuries making the landing clumsy. Yet the wcker basket still breaks in the same way as teh others and three more commandos step up. One of these carries a satchel on its back which it is handling with great care, taking longer then the other two to rise. The people near this group start screaming and running from them, so now the crowd is mostly milling in teh centre of teh dec, as far from the two goblin forces as possible. Yet still more pour on from the gangplanks,

Algret channels a burst of healing though her body, curing much of the damage from the two posioned arrows, but she notes the burn of the venom in her wounds is still strong. As she stepps down from the rail she also sees the prone form of a woman lying on the deck near her start to stir slightly as the magic washes over her as well. Beside her, her husband cries out in joy even as he clutches his two children to him.

Dergo barely makes out the words of Paera above but he moves into the stair well, grabbing the guide rails tightly for what might be coming.

Milhar unleashes the force from within his body, bringing further protection to himself and readying himslef for combat.

Vik wipes the black blood from his eyes and moves rapidly to join his dwarven friend at the rail. As he rushes up, checking to make sure she is safe from harm, the ship makes a huge surge forwards. Timbers snap as the rail and cleats are torn from the ship where the fore and mid gangplanks were tied. Worse damage occurs at the point where teh remainign mooring line was left tied. The bollard is much sturdier they teh boarding cleats and as it tears away, a portion fo teh deck is dragged with it. The two struggling men on teh deck are suddenly thrown into the waters below with a scream. Some thirty people were standing on the gangplanks when the ship moved and they also plummet screaming into the waters between the docks and the ship. People and goblins alike are tossed to the deck in a hoplelessly tangled mass. One man is thrown down into the cargo hold through the open doors, to have his back broken as he lands on teh shifting crates and barrels below him. The ship is moving, yet no sails are fully set. The goblin commander, having managed to stay on his feet screams in anger and frustration.

Crows nest are braced and hidden from view. Dergo was braced as well so no need to make accrobatics roll. All others please make a DC 15 accrobatics roll to remain on your feet. Failure measn you fall prone and take 1 point of non lethal damge from being tossed around. All the goblins failed except the captain. All the passangers failed. The helmsman and ships captain are also down, both are badly wounded, the captain having suffered a crtical. Algrets heaing burst was just out. Use the deck plans to get a rough idea of where you and the goblins would be. I've got them linked on my DM page. Cheers. New round too. The bees are actually gathering up the yellow substance into their pollen cones. They are no threat if not engaged. They also aren't buzzing anymore.

Can Bo-Dan see where the Captain is from the Crow's nest? If she can...
Crow's Nest

Spoiler:

(If you need her to make a perception check, please go ahead)
Seeing the dire straits of the Captian and as there are much fewer ariel targets now Bo-Dan shouts "Paera! I must see to the Captian! He is gravely wounded! Try and cover us from here if you can!" Not being a fool though and realizing that she would likely be only throwing her own life away in her current condition Bo-Dan first uses one of the healing charges from her Medallion on herself: CLW (1d8+1=6)

Then casting at quick look to her companion to asses her wound and seeing it to only be a scratch she nevertheless calls out "Will you be OK?!"

At last, assuming her friend indicates she'll be all right, Bo-Dan begins to make her way down towards the Captain as rapidly as possible. Acrobatics Checks (1d20+5=8, 1d20+5=14, 1d20+5=13). Moving a bit too recklessly at first, the Monk slows down a bit to try and prevent breaking her own neck.

She will try, if possible, to jump from one mast to the next to so she will end up over where the Captain is and can jump right down on some of his assailants

If she can't see what's going on with the Captain she will still try and make her way down to the deck (but still healing herself first) to take on the first goblin she comes to and will attack (1d20+5=12, 1d6+4=6) with her kama in one hand and the other hand free.

Bo-Dan

Spoiler:

That's a jump of nearly 50 feet according to the deck plans 8). I don't imagine you're able to jump there but you may be able to do some rigging hopping if you run along a mast and end up closer to the captain. Your three rolls would be enough to keep you alive for that.

However, and this is the big one. It takes three rounds to climb up and down to the crows nest. Longer if you have to do the rigging hop you're asking for. The fight may well be over by then. Choice is yours completely Bo-Dan, but I wanted to make those points absoultely clear to you so you were fully aware of the situation. Cheers

Edit:

Spoiler:

Bo, I just thought of something. On the thrid round you could probably grabe a trailing line and swing down onto the deck like they do in all the priate movies. This would put you about ten feet from the steps at the end of three rounds.

Yaaaaahhooooooo! haha PERFECT! If you think that's the quickest way to get there, yes do that. If not, then no. And yes, haha of course I hadn't meant she attempted a 50' leap, I must have mis-worded it but I meant hoping from one mast (or rigging) to the next one.

Spoiler:

Which group are you charging? The group who have just landed or the the group on the aftcastle attacking the captain.

The group on the foredeck (just landed) are too far away to charge them unfortunately. They're close to 100 feet from you on the foredeck.

Also unfortunately if you're attacking the goblins on the upper deck, you can't charge up stairs (difficult ground). However, your attack of 15 will still hit the goblin leader and you should reach him in a move action. He's at the top of the nearest stairs to you. It does put you in combat with their best fighter, and blocks movement on those stairs (which is his plan).

The third option is a double move up to the port stairs which puts you in base with a fallen goblin and you can use your attack as an Attack of opportunity when it tries to stand.

I Wanted to make sure you understood the combat situation fully before comitting. Since I'm not using a map it is getting a bit confusing I'm sure.Cheers

She didn't see it, but she could imagine what must have happened to all of those people still on the gangplanks. She wanted to hate the ship's captain with all her heart at that moment, whether it was reasonable or not.

Picking herself back up, she went wide-eyed at Bo's sudden descent from the nest. She started to follow, but the sight of the wasp riders still in flight kept her in place. "I've got your back, Bo!" she called out, taking aim at the wasp rider closest to her beloved.

Just catching a glimpse of the battle on the aftcastle, Bo-Dan decides she is best used fighting down there. Sending a quick farewell to her heart companion, she rolls over the side of the crows and begins to scale down the ropes. The crazily swaying ship at first gives her some trouble but she soon gets the hang of things.

The wasp rider that had been buzzing the crows nest draws a bead on the young monk, before noticiing the archer in the crows nest. He quickly changes targets and lets fly but the arrow goes wide as Paera's return shot casues him to wrench the wasp to the left. Bow shot at Paera1d20+3=9, 1d4=4.

On the deck all is chaos as goblins and humans alike begin to stand on the swaying deck. The wasp rider who earlier targetted Vik again looses an arrow at the big barbarian as he tries to pull himself to his feet. The arrow strikes his back but most of the force is absorbed by the armour he wears. Still he feels the sting of the poison entering his veins. Bow shot at Vik 1d20+3=18, 1d4=1. Can't remember if you've already rolled for posion Vik. If not please make a fort save, if so then the DC for the second save is going to be a bit higher.

Milhar stands from the awkward fall then moves to help supprt the dwarven priest, but finds he cannot get hier then the first few stairs.

Vik finally gets back to his feet and rushes to help his companion of the last year. Seeing the stairwell closest is blocked, he instead moves easily to teh starboard stairs where another goblin has taken a position to block teh stairwell. The little green humanoid looks up...and up, at the towering form of the big Ulfen and suddenly all its confidence seems to vanish.

The rest of the people on the ship untangle themselves and try to stand. Neither the captain nor the helmsman are hit again, but now they face 4 opponents and both of them are heavily wounded.

The three goblins at teh rear of teh deck move to the aft deck doorway, but before tehy can open it Mjobo is amongst them, wielding a marlin pike like a great spear. His head is gashed and his elft arm hangs limply at his side, obviously broken, but the big Mwangi seems enraged and is fearsome to behold.

Ok, next round up. Getting close now folks, and I hav to say, you're doing a bang up job of things so far. Vik, I moved you to the far stairs as I didn't think you'd want to waste the action moving to the blocked stairs. Milhar, you are directly behind Algret and can make ranged touch attacks without the screeingin rails providing cover (but still at -4 for shottingin into combat). Cheers.

Laughing Algret whirls her hammer in the opposide direction connecting with a rising swing to the other side of the goblin's ribcage.

"Stay still, damn you..." Paera muttered as she let loose another arrow towards the wasp rider. Her constant, nervous glances at Bo-Dan's descent did little to help her concentration.

Somewhere in the ether is the dark light of the goblin captain. I shall search for you and offer a peaceful choice. When I find your heart and mind perhaps it will be weak enough for my choice to win through?

Milhar has not drawn any weapons yet. From behind Algret, he will call on the Source to give the goblin captain a way out.

Cast charm person on the goblin captain. Will Save DC14

"Girrak, take your warriors and flee this ship. Now!"

Bo-Dan continues to scale down the rigging of the main mast, her feet and hands moving in perfect unison to provide the balance and strength required for the task. As she reaches a lower cross beam, the monk grabs a trailing line and cuts it free, readying to swing herself down onto the sterncastle.

The captain of the goblins swings with savage glee at Algret, striking the dwarf on her left shoulder and drawing blood there. A crazy grin spreads across his face, showing the pointed teeth to be flecked with its own black blood. The woud in its ribs may have punctured a lung. Attack on Algret, 1d20+4=19, 1d8+3=6. I forgot to add the mods for its potion last round. Still wouldn't have hit you though.

The remainder of the goblin commanders again attack the captain and his helmsman. The captain's defense ssems to be sound, but the helmsmn gasps suddenly as his oponents weapon slips deeply into his stomach. The man doubles over the weapon, and slowly sinks to the ground, desperately clutching at this stomach and trying to prevent everything from spiling out onto the deck.

The goblin facing Vik swings his weapon at the big Ulfen. The sword slices in low and hard, catching the barbarian just below the line of his armour, but at the last minute Vik turns with the force of the cut and prevents the goblin from causing him serious harm. attack on Vik,1d20+2=21, 1d6+1=2. That was close VIk, he rolled a 14 on his critical confirmation which missed by one, and then did 7 damage. Oh well

The last wasp rider wheel their mounts up and towards the city, but not before the one circling the crows nest takes a departing shot at Paera 1d20+3=21, 1d4=2. The arrow flies straight and true and slices a deep line across the ribs of the half elf rogue before thudding into the woodwork beside her.

Paera tries to return fire but the pain and shock of her new wound prevents her from using the bow with any accuracy.

Paera

Spoiler:

The sun gleams redly uupon a flight of beautiul creatures suddenly flying above the city. The great bodies of a lion with wings and heads of eagles clearly mark them as griffons. Upon their backs sit mounted humans, dressed in the gold and silver armour of the ruling elite, their lances held at the ready as the magestic creatures wheel and dive into the swirling maelstrom of aerial combat that is happening over the city. One of the riders swings towards the docks, and your breath catches as you realise it is a young woman, probably no more than 16 years, charging into the screaming and whooping mass of wasp riders that rise to meet her. The sight nearly brings a tear to your eye, despite the chaos around you.

Back on deck, Algret shrugs off the damage from the goblins wounds and strikes back with her hammer. The heavy head of the weapon whistles into the side of the goblins head and caves it in with a wet crack. The goblin drops to the ground and twitches briefly before the body realises the brain is dead.

Seeing his initial target is now dead, Milhar instead tries to persuade on of the other goblins to give up the fight. The scorceror finds the wil of this one to be almost jelly like, its brain so addled with drugs and lust for combat that neaarly any suggestion will work on it. As milhar calls for it to surrender, it immediately drops its weapons and calls for it's companions to do so as well, using a very heavily accented common rather than the gobin tongue. Will save 1d20=2. Brains like mushy peas, I swear.

Vik backhands his axe into the body of his opponent, but the little goblin ducks under most of the blow, only catching a glancing hit the helm for its troubles. It snarls at the Shifter, swearing at him in broken common as it prepares to fight back.

The ship continues to move forward, finally leaving the dock behind and the desperate wails and screams of those still standing there echo through the morning as they watch their only chance of salvation slip into the deepening waters of the harbour.

New round is up. BoDan, this round you'll swing down onto the sterncastle and into combat, assuming the goblins there aren't all dead. There are three remaining combatants around the captain. Milhar just convinced the fourth one to stop fighting. Vik is engaged in combat with another on the port stairwell leading onto the sterncastle. Parea, that goblin is still in range of your bow. Cheers

Female Half Elven/Half Human Monk/2

Wrath

Spoiler:
If Bo-Dan can make that swing part on an attack somehow, she'll do that, trying to spectacularly take out one of the goblins facing the Captain. I think I still have an attack roll or two saved up, but if not, feel free to roll.

Female Half-Elf (Varisian) Rogue 1

Paera almost wanted to just stay as she had fallen against the edge of the nest and simply watch the battle over the city. The sight of that one particular griffon rider had struck a chord in her. Gods, if only I had one of those, I'd show these.....good luck up there, whoever you are. Her eyes flashed back to the goblin rider still within range. Pushing herself back upright and wincing from the pain, she took aim once more.

"HEY! BASTARD! WE'RE NOT FINISHED YET!" she shouted as she let another arrow loose. The pain in her side was flaring as she did so however...

"Jump for it or die like your Captain did. Tell them to jump."

Milhar winces.

These two are throwing off auras of reds and blacks, violence and death as they smash and cleave away the horde. Such wanton pain from both sides!

The man draws a short sword just in case. He steps up a pace to back up his argument. Then searches for the big man with the axe in the mists. He reaches out with the power of the Source of all Magic to heal the warrior after such a dangerous wound.
