Doxon feels the chill of the mummy's blow but the fires of Torag's forge are not so easily quelled. Doxon returns the mummy's strike with a fury of his own.

Ham is taken surprise by AJ's dissappearance, and falls flat on his face!
Damage, DM?
He stands up and thrusts with his larger-than-life spear.

Dungeon Master S |
No damage on that fall, BUT
Ham falls, but immediately tries to stand. The temple servitor seizes the opening. AoO: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (11) + 20 = 31 for DMG: 2d6 + 11 ⇒ (6, 3) + 11 = 20 and Cold: 1d6 ⇒ 3 Ham needs to make a FORT DC 19 or be slowed by the hit. If he fails, he is too slow to make his attack.

Ushyle: Go

Dungeon Master S |
Hamilton stands, and the hit from the temple servitor is overwhelming and beyond the pain and damage, it slows the roughrider down for Duration: 1d6 ⇒ 3 rounds.
The temple servitor still sees Doxon as the greatest threat, especially with Hamilton slowed down. It slams both fists at the dwarf:
Left: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (17) + 20 = 37 for DMG: 2d6 + 11 ⇒ (4, 1) + 11 = 16 and Cold: 1d6 ⇒ 6 and FORT DC 19 or be slowed.
Right: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (18) + 20 = 38 for DMG: 2d6 + 11 ⇒ (5, 5) + 11 = 21 and Cold: 1d6 ⇒ 3 and FORT DC 19 or be slowed.

Dungeon Master S |
Ushyle's righteous might is more than a match for the undead tied to this world.
In but a moment he cuts the remaining foe down!
For killing the daughter of Urgathoa and the two temple servitors, each hero earns 4,635 XP.
Vael Oakfist |
Vael dismisses his summoned elemental, then calls out a chant to have the spirits reveal to him any auras of magic. He then looks over the remains of the daughter of Urgathoa.

Raen studies the ring. Spellcraft Take 10: 10 + 21 = 31
She also considers the corpse of Dybellos. Is there blood? If not, is there sufficient ichor for me to use for writing?
Vael Oakfist |
"They be magic, little one. And they be useful," Vael says, removing one and wiping the blood off it. He then takes off a headband of a similar make, dons the new one, and stows the old one.
"Now what?"
Ushyle |
Ushyle nods in agreement at Vael's question, and in a few moments remembers that no one can see him. Vael has a point, he says. How can we make this fell devotee's death help our cause here?
Dungeon Master S |
The ring is a ring of protection +3!
Raen Varkath |
Enlisting the aid of her stronger fellows, Raen positions the priestess and her undead minions to lean against each other, sitting up in triangle, in the center of the main room. She takes out the letter, marked up for clarity, and nails into the dead priestess's forehead. Tearing off a length of rag from the giant's robes, she soaks the cloth in the blood and ichor collecting on the floor and writes out, in Giantish blood-letters:
[giant]TRAITOR TO THE CAUSE[/giant]
She steps back to survey her work and offers a brief nod. "The other doors, then?" she asks, eyes not moving from the picture.
Vael Oakfist |
"Aye. Let's do the western door. Whistle Pig, can ye do yer thing?"
Pig Approaches the door:

As everyone sets about their post-battle activities, Doxon notices that several of them, himself included, took a bit of a beating that last fight. He quickly gathers everyone around and summons his faith to reinvigorate his friends.

The door yields no clue as to what's beyond. Whistle Pig finds no traps, so he opens the door.
The sickly sweet smell of blood and viscera is almost overpowering in this room. A long, giant-sized table rests against the west wall. A partially devoured human corpse lies on top of the table like a meal to be served, complete with an apple jammed in its mouth. The floor near the body is sticky with blood; elsewhere, hides and furs cover the floor.
Alone, eating a delicious meal in utter and total silence, is a lean figure. The giant is hairless and has smooth, milky white skin. A scythe gleams next to the giant’s hands....
Somehow it didn't hear the combat....

Raen grabs on to Doxon and Ushyle, and shunts them both (and herself) behind the giant. Dimension Door.
Ushyle |
Ushyle feels the tug in his stomach, more familiar than he'd like now, of Rae and her spell. He finds the rainbow bridge of Vael to be somewhat less unsettling — perhaps it's the comforting scent of hops and barley, reminiscent of simpler times in the Ramblehouse. It is somehow less disorienting than Raen's, perhaps becau...

For defeating the tomb giant in silence, each hero earns 3,200 XP.
The giant apparently lived an aesthetic life. He carried nothing of value. After searching the room peacefully, it appears this room is used for little else beyond the macabre. There's nothing of value here.
