That leaves Rholf up to bat.

Larissa, still glowing brightly, flexes her claws, steps toward the creature attacking Rholf, and tries to tear off a piece or two.

Attack two hits; the first one misses.....It shrieks in pain and smokes from the wound from the good vibrations.

Alinya turns and moves towards the tavern door, allowing her new sellsword time to gather his necessaries and follow. Once out of the door with backup she listens again for the telltale sounds of stealthy combat n the streets of Lepistadt.
He finishes eating, and follows her, holding a jug of wine.
There's an alley to the right, and the ting ting sound of blades comes from there.

Alinya pauses to let her eyes adjust to the gloom. She takes full advantage of the time, and whispers arcane words. Her hands move in a graceful gesture and a dark nimbus of protective sorcery settles over her form then disappears.
Protected, her mind turns to offense. She utters another sharp, unnaturally guttural, polysyllabic word and a faintly glowing skeletal hand apparates above her left shoulder.
"Follow me."
Larissa continues to assault the vampire on the ground.

For some inscrutable reason Alinya, far away, feels a warm glow of appreciation for Edwin.
She sees two men, duelling with rapiers, the red "r's."
Alinya steps boldly round the corner and calls out, "Just what do you think you're doing? There are innocent people trying to study the arcane underpinnings of life and death, and her you are making all this commotion. Not. Acceptable." The diminutive wizard glares fiercely at the combatants.
The swordman trundles forward.
"Aye. You lot piss off."
The swordsmen stop, bow to eachother, and face the two newcomers.
"Thith ith totally dithwethpectfulll!"
one of them says with a lisp.
He has the largest incisors you've ever seen on a human.
"I agwee!" says the other buck toothed varment.
"What'th it going to be little mithy?"
says the first.

Edwin, feeling smugly superior to the bat-varmint once again laying on the floor, snaps his whip to try and snip the wings of the deceptively dangerous little vampire bat.

They're perfectly alive. They're human enough, but their incisors are huge.

In no mood for further surprises, and clearly feeling the terrible physical effects of tangling with these undead menaces, Rholf takes no chances with a physical attack, instead choosing to go with a more proven tactic...
