Don’t know why I didn’t specify, but there at start were two balors two chaos and 3 Vrolikai. And Yamasha of course

The grim death Ven’atorix, moves with the cold determination of the greatest of grave knights. Despair is a weapon that is particularly suitable to fighting the Balor and it stares into the sockets of your helmet with shock as it is felled in a single onslaught by the powerful undead. There is a whining crackling noise followed by a molten eruption.

100 ft range, DC 33 REF to half, I know many of you have rolled already, but if not, do so.

You that was loud, you were wrong. Seconds later, an ear and earth shattering boom is released as Sal’s foreign combat machine launches an unknown apparatus. The obsidian columns and wooden chairs and many pillows are torn to shreds as the super-velocity projectile strikes Yamasha and most everything behind her. Two lessers booms follow as explosions rock the debris mid air, changing many things projectiles in a surreal display of visual destruction. Smaller projectiles launched from shoulder mounted cannons aboard this alien monstrosity, tearing small holes wherever they struck.
The sonic screeching shatters the remaining Balor’s sword and it pees liquid flame in fear at the approaching harbinger of icy death.

Tk-Chthik Psionically charges among the Vrolikai and tears one to near shreds, it is still alive but mangled and torn in a matter of seconds and it falls to the ground unable to fly any longer.

Sal watches the chaos as she unleashes a psionically voiding field upon Yamasha. The succubus, who until now has only appeared surprised at the rail gun bolt blasting through her stomach, shows a sign of being irked. Her resistance to magic is overcome, and though it was not to devastating effect this time, these were clearly dangerous opponents.

Suddenly! There was a HUGE DINOSAUR. The not too bright Chaos demons glance at each other as now there is something to equal their size. The judicious glance is interrupted as the closer of the two demons is suddenly engaged by a natural impossibility, a dinosaur master of hand to hand combat. The first demon couldn’t even marvel at what was happening as he was torn to shreds, the second could only look on with a wistful dread/appreciation for these intruder’s destructive capacity.

Bullets bounce off Yamasha as she considers her options.

”You, Beast!.” She points at Arkon. ”Serve me lovely.” She casts a spell.

Anyone with Spellcraft 43 can tell it is a dominate Monster. Arkon DC 43 Will save or become her thrall. I will roll it so you can respond accordingly, unless there are extenuating circumstances. Let me know.

Yes its why She said stay away from Yamasha, with out a map its hard to work out where to plant the thing. Just take it she would manifest it behind Yam so it hit her and not you guys, is a single bust effect, and she has range to do this. In other words your gear is safe. Any way it seems to have upset her.

How she can use powers on her Cohort.

She is linked as a net work to her walking tank and her Cycrtal that is linked into it as well. V Battle sense as a network share powers. In other words they act as one thing when it comes to powers. But not saves and such.

, so its there if needed. Which lead me to spot Energy Conversion a power she has that she can immediate with a +4pp cost so she spends 17pp and gains +30 Resistance to core energy types [stacks] and then takes the it storing the fire DMG to use later. 200mins left Sorted 22.5/22.5 DMG stops Fire and TMP stops Unholy. Then main hit 50/50 60 DR fire stopped all, 50 THP TMP left 7.5 Regn 17 24.5

At the last moment she shifts her anti psionic/magic fields target point so it dos not hit her fellows.

GM she is mind linked with the others, if/when Arkon is taken over that link will go hostile, she would know is what I am saying. She can then act to save him.

Figured that might be the case so long as mythic spells don't ignore that immunity. Not dominated.


Mythic spells don't typically overcome immunities unless they specifically say so. A Mythic Caster can't Dominate an Ooze, for example.

Looked over the rules and the only way I can make this work the way I wish is to use Fusion v her Psicystal and link that to her Cohort the walking tank. That way she can be in it and pass powers onto it. Its way simpler.

Yamasha:

Eyeing the destructive carnage the interlopers have wrought in mere seconds, Yamasha knows immediately she is in serious danger:

In an impossibly Swift motion, while speaking Arcane words faster than the speed-of-sound, Yamasha quickendly Summons her Mistress-Proxy and some more Reinforcements.

Then, with just a moment remaining to cast another spell -- seeing as her Dominate spell utterly failed and that she is wrapped in a Dimensional Anchor -- casts a very unusual, personally crafted with the help of Nethys, PRISMATIC SPHERE, whose colors seem quite more Vivid than the standard ninth level Illusion spell.

After blasting the space around Yamasha to shreds, and punching a fist size whole throw their mistress, the counter attack on it is ferocious. The Vrolikai leads a frenzied attack on the alien walking Gollom. 1st she slams past it raking its side with her massive stinger like tail, the blow crashes down on to it with a ear splitting CLANG! and sends shuddering back 10' slamming it into a wall. Then behind her come a Balor frantically smashing down on it as the thing tried to stabilize itself. The Balor's huge unholy great sword raining down Blow after blow seek to crack it open. The legged construct staggered under the blows, put some force and its near impenetrable armor seemed to send all but one of the blows glancing off. All but one this seem to hit hard and blue oily fluid could be seen flowing down one of its leg. Yet, but the Unholy goods such blows would have felled even a grown dragon, yet this thing took the blows and did little more then plat its feed deeper in the floor. Its huge wait sinking down. Then from the other side came an enraged Chaos Demon, Claws that could crack own city walls frantically sort to rip parts off the odd metal construct. with each impact the metal from rocked but again the blows seem to do little more than rack off the massive steal thing. Such powerful Demonic enteritis would have divested most living things in this world no matter the size, yet the undead, unfeeling, thing!, This alien Adamantine device seems to have been built and specifically designed to withstand such massive distinctive forces. what ever it was, it may not hit as hard as the others in the group but by the uncaring gods it could take far more in the way of punishment. After the attacks the think just seems to shrug, then flexed it legs and once more leveled it array of alien weaponry, readying an attack.

Then it did, with such a target rich environment it did not even move, its just leveled its guns point blank and opened up at the Balor.

Wouldn't that 95HP of Damage from the MindBlast affect allies in addition to Demons?!?

The construct was sending out electronic counter measures and sending up flares to counter heat seeking missiles, none of which did anothying of use in this fight.

I'm very tempted to just walk through the Prismatic Sphere like the f&#%ing terminator and see how Yamasha reacts. I can become immune or resistant to all the effects but the Violet light, and am pretty sure I can pass that Will save with little issue.

I should ask, how do you adjudicate what the violet light does? Whatd does "destroy all objects and effects" mean, and does the Will save apply to that too, or just the offensive Plane Shift part of it?

Pulling upon his mastery of war and the planes as he tires of this game of cat and mouse, he slips through space to appear right beside Yamasha, and reaches a single gauntleted hand out to touch her.

The first threat, the Blindness, doesn't affect Ven, as he's undead, not living.

Red Light: immune to fire.

The walking tank like construct is hit by the Fudkaton's Death Throws, it do's do's not even bother to move. It was designed to fight on battle fields blasted by radiation and shell fire. Some Fleshy thing suicide bombs itself next to it, its auto systems just kick in an it ignores it concentrating on the attack. The heat damage is complicity absorbed into its refracting armor, the energy to be used later with the last heat blast. The negative wave of unholy energy has little effect in a constrict just affecting a few parts of hits systems but back up take care of that.

Q: Do's unholy DMG even affect a construct? I cant find anywhere that says it dos, Just opposite alignment.

Its stored energy pool from energy convention is now 100 points of fire DMG

Again the great gun blasts a whole far into the building, then it opens up with more chain gun rounds and explosions. The thing never tires or stops, while the demons bellow and scream at it in rage it do's nothing more than kill them as militarily as it can.


Yamasha, in her Prismatic Sphere with Ven'atorix, having already lost over 200 HP & knowing full well what will happen to her minions outside, grins.

"Ah, welcome into my parlor, ye Champion of the Dead; it's been too long since a real threat has dared bare its audacity before my arcane beauty. I will deal with Nocticula later for her treachery but before that, I think I'll play with my new undead toy-antipaladin."

Yamasha gracefully caresses Ven'atorix's cheek as she casts her spells defensively, ensuring she does not provoke any opportune attacks from her new toy.

"Tell me, my thrall, why you are here."

Mechanics:
In her first turn in Rd two Yamasha casts defensively, Limited Wish, to force her target a -7 penalty on its next Saving Throw.
Defensive Casting: 1d20 ⇒ 20 (Need a 2 or higher!)
(Using Limited Wish in this way does not grant the target any kind of Save.)

With her second turn in Rd two, Yamasha casts defensively, Control Undead, to make Ven'atorix her cute little undead minion.
Defensive Casting: 1d20 ⇒ 7 (No 1s please!)
And Ven'atorix will have to attempt a DC 36 Will Save or be under Yamasha's control.

The cheek caressing is fluff, with no actual in-game effects.

With Ven'atorix inside Yamasha's Prismatic Sphere the Balors know that they may be in trouble. But Type Six Demons know no fear or regret. If hey are to die in the Chaos of bloodshed then they will erupt in enough carnage to threaten the infidels laying them to waste!

Mechanics:
Each Balor uses a sort of 'Hero Point' to gain Haste and enters into a Barbarian-Like Rage. Then, flanking the PCs, attack with all the fury of The Abyss.

METAGAME: I figure a bit of Haste and Rage is not too gross for me to add. I think it makes sense that these Balors could have a Hero Point and that they would pull out all the stops, here. Plus, I don't think anyone is in too much danger. (Remember we're all easing our way into the mechanics of this campaign and a bit of a learning curve, in my opinion, is called for.)
