"We don't know if the kobolds are involved in the taint, but we won't find out unless we descend. Hajar, you say the place is cursed, yet you question if kobolds are evil. I'm having trouble getting Serila's avatar on the surface map. I can only find squares, etc. No character pictures.

Serila takes two of her potions of cure light wounds and swaps them with the two oils of mage armor from the party's loot. She directly applies one of the oils, smearing it over her clothes. "Yuck..."

Old cobweb-covered racks and armor stands dominate much of this small chamber. What must have once been a well-tended armory is now devoid of arms and armor. Two rotten mattresses, scraps of weapons, armor, and the discarded remains of the kobold's lie on the floor of this room. The room is dimly lit and smells of blood and piss.

Tall grasses and chunks of stone debris have all but overtaken this small yard. Off to one side, a wooden stable has collapsed into a mound of rotting timbers and moldy straw. The outer wall on the east side has also collapsed, leaving a ragged hole. Three doors exit into this yard — the main gate to the south, a single door to the north, and a lone door leading into the squat tower in the southeast corner, which is open. A rotten corpse of a giant spider is just out side the tower door.

As Keanan looks up to begin climbing he sees a lone spider crawl on to the rope .. then 3 more come into view. A few seconds later a swarm of small spiders spews out of the trap door in the ceiling.

Serila shoots fire from her hand which hits the swarm but does not slow it down. The others all flee into the courtyard.

The spiders boil out of the tower engulfing Serila and Un'gra biting and pinching. Serila takes 5 damage and Un'gra takes 1 damage. I need a Fort Save from both of you.
