Sorry, I probably wasn't clear - the Knowledge checks earlier were to give you the clue to unlock the door. You have to say something repeatedly in order to get the door to unlock.

The block in front of you disolves and falls apart into sand, leading you inside another area of the pyramid.
A large painting of a scarab covers most of the floor of this chamber, and hieroglyphs are carved in the walls. A dark stone block is embedded in the east wall of the chamber, with etchings and carved hieroglyphs surrounding a scarab symbol inscribed on its face.

After a bit of time with a chisel and hammer he disrupts the magical trap allowing you to attempt to break through the ground.
Either make an attack against standard stone to break through or a DC 25 Strength check to lever the stone out!
