So I'm thinking of writing an adventure for Starfinder to maybe run - does this hook grab any of you as a good idea?

Pact Worlds Parcel Service is in trouble - their last six delivery crews have gone missing trying to deliver a package to the depths of Absalom Station and now the company's founder Uberto Q. Gabon, forced to pay out large insurance premiums to irate families and eyed by predatory competitors, has reached out to you to make sure their packages get delivered. Neither meteor shower, nor necrovites nor swarm of space pirates will stay you brave crew from completion of your appointed rounds!

The basic idea would be that you have to deliver a sealed package safely to a secluded point inside the station and (hopefully) discover just what the heck is causing those other crews to disappear.

Dwalindor can drop out of rage but then becomes useless. At least in rage has better hp andspell resists...but more likely to drop.

Dwalindor has not moved from his spot on the map. I am not exactly sure where the wall is (or was) but assumed it blocked off the 10' square north of Dwal and Noonan.

So my question is this...is there a wall or drop between N10 and N11 on the map? Is N10 a raised platform or a room in the corner of the cliff? I see the entry from N11 to N12 in the pyramid but I am not sure how to get there

Also, I am not sure how scent works with perception and invisibility. My understanding is that it does not totally negate invis but would allow knowing which square an invisible creature was in (still have miss chance etc). I will roll a perception for Dwal vs normal stealth if needed.

I assumed Noonan summoned it in between you and the lamia matriarch so it's to the north of you.

N10 is a platform suspended over the canyon below and if you move directly west of Shad you have a cliff platform N11 leading into N12 which is the pyramid. N10 is constructed but N11 is just a natural cliff.

OK! Good news, bad news.

Bad news: Book 4 is another exploration book.

Good news: I want to do this a little differently to speed things up.

I propose that I give you maps leading you from one location to the next through the desert to your final destination. This will stop you from the exploration gameplay if you want to pursue it. However it will allow us to move from one spot to the next with a relative minimum of fuss.

Now this does mean a little more combat focus for you through the book - not all the stops are combat but there are actually only 17 stops completely in this book and none of them involve research rolls.

If this works for you guys that's how I'd like to do it since exploration gameplay is particularly ill-suited to PbP in my not so humble opinion.

Was the 16k based upon the total for items and coin found and sold, or avg gold per level? It did not seem like there was that much - maybe in total? ( I did not price them all)

Whoops, forgot to give you the stats on the effigy of anubis:

This figurine stands several inches tall and is carved of black stone with gold highlights, resembling a man with the head of a jackal. With a successful DC 20 Knowledge (religion) check, a character identifies the figure as Anubis, the Ancient Osirian god of burial, funeral rites, mummification, and a protector of the dead and their tombs. Once per week, an effigy of Anubis enables its possessor to use speak with dead and ask up to six questions. The effigy must be placed within the rib cage of a corpse, and the corpse’s answers come through the effigy— the jackal’s mouth moves with the words.

The corpse must still be mostly intact and have a mouth for the spell to work. In addition, an effigy of Anubis can be used to bring a dead creature back to life, though Anubis, as god of the dead, is willing to grant only a temporary reprieve from oblivion. Breaking the figurine reveals a hollow interior filled with diamond dust. If this diamond dust is sprinkled on a corpse that has been dead for less than 48 hours, the creature comes back to life as with temporary resurrection (Pathfinder RPG Ultimate Magic 243). This effect lasts for 24 hours, at which point the creature dies again. Once used in this way, an effigy of Anubis loses all of its magic and is destroyed.

Price: 6,900 gp, weight 1 lb.
