So, the plan is for me to make a post 1/day. I'll try to have my posting be up first thing in the morning, that way you all have a chance to read whats going on.

We're all human though, so if you can't check it for a while, or whatever, let me know.

I don't think I have any houserules that are coming into this, so if I make a bad call, please feel free to speak up. One benefit is that you'll have lots of time to find rules to back up such things.

I'm thinking right now my maps are going to be on roll20, still setting that up. If anyone has a different preference, let me know.

XP is going to be on milestones. I'm also going to be putting together a google drive file for loot tracking.

If we do end up using roll20, then knowledge checks will be whispered to you on there. It will be up to you to share or not.

PCs interested in learning more about their employer or the political scene can learn details with either Diplomacy checks to gather information or Knowledge (local) or Knowledge (nobility) checks.

Any given player character may roll only once for each given subject.

Would that be one roll for each of the knowledge's, or would we have to pick just one?

I should also probably make it aware that even though his reformer group likely knows his origins, they're an important part of why he's fighting for a better home, Valor does not look like a Tiefling. He has pass for human, and inherited almost no fiendish traits from his mother apart from his crimson red hair. Figured I'd make sure everybody knows, forgot to add it to my character creation post.

do i have to roll a dice to know some story-songs or are we just assuming that since I'm a bard and entertaining people is my job i know some?

also should i be offended at being called a yellow I'm not familiar with the term in his context

That would be a perform (oratory) check for a story song, and knowledge local to know what the term means

okay well i rolled oratory and got a 14 but i dont have kn. local, Harmony's like a foot from away, does he have it?

harmony doesn't have either.

Apollo has knowledge(all) so he could know, not that that helps us at the moment.

Yes, a 14 is enough to do an okay job with telling the kid a story-song. Not great, but should be alright.

gonna be real with you, i hope you don't expect me to write an actual ballad for this, I was bad at that back in high school and have not gotten better with time.

I'm sure that a basic description of a ballad would do fine. Else, you might have to compose every single bard song. :P

It would be in the players handbook. As far as I am aware, you know that she has a job for you, and can pay quite well.
