Would that be one roll for each of the knowledge's, or would we have to pick just one?

I should also probably make it aware that even though his reformer group likely knows his origins, they're an important part of why he's fighting for a better home, Valor does not look like a Tiefling. He has pass for human, and inherited almost no fiendish traits from his mother apart from his crimson red hair. Figured I'd make sure everybody knows, forgot to add it to my character creation post.

Valor shrugs to himself as Minentte runs off towards the strange noise.
"Well, guess that's what we're doing." he mutters, following close behind.
"This better not make us late"

Valor, pondering whether or not he should browse the nearby stalls, notices his friend waving to get his attention. He decides to join her where it's less crowded, and quickly responds with a confident smile "I'm always ready for trouble!", before double checking all his pockets to make sure he was indeed ready for trouble.

Content he hadn't forgotten anything at home, turns to Minentte and says "We have about an hour before the meeting though, any thoughts on how we pass the time?"

For Valor, the Grand Day of Exaltation is a reprieve from the struggles of day to day life, a time when people care less about who you are and where you're from in order to celebrate together. He could spend hours just watching the bustling streets, and even longer browsing the wares of merchants only here for the event.

He doesn't usually have the time for that however, the event brings a flock of customers to his Alchemy shop. The busiest day of the year for the merchants of Oppara, and by far the most profitable. Jovial tourists here to celebrate the Grand Day are willing to pay more for wares, and Valor tends to take full advantage of that.

Today was different though, the Crimson Concoction is closed for the day. Valor has a meeting that could potentially be the chance he's been waiting for, and he doesn't want to be late. He heads to Cafe Zaini through the packed streets, stopping only briefly to look at a few Vendor's stalls that catch his eye on the way.

Alright, here's Valor's backstory

Spoiler:
Valor Gestahl was born in the Crownsgate district of Oppara, and raised by his tiefling mother Scarlet. His mother used her training in alchemy to make ends meet, but living in poverty wasn't easy. Racism kept most business away from Scarlet's shop, with most humans not wanting to do business with a tiefling. The only people willing to buy from Scarlet, were those struggling just as much. The prices needed to be low to bring in these customers though, meaning there was almost no profit being made. Valor spent most of his childhood helping around the shop however he could, cleaning and organizing, and even learning what he could about alchemy to lessen the burden for his mother. He was quite talented, and it was not long before his own alchemical creations began to be put on the shelves.
After a few years, the poor living conditions became too much for Scarlet. Born with a naturally weak constitution, her immune system began failing and she fell ill. Valor, now in his teenage years, had to run the store by himself, while caring for his ailing mother. He did what he could to help scarlet recover, but the reagents required to craft a remedy were too expensive to purchase. He sought aid from whoever he could, even going to other districts to find anybody generous enough to help, but none cared about the life of a lower class tiefling woman. The inevitable happened, and Scarlet soon passed. Stricken with grief Valor swore that he would fix this broken, uncaring nation.

Fending for himself now, Valor searched for more people sick of toiling endlessly to survive while the rich live in careless luxury. He found others like himself, and quickly befriended other reformers who actually care about the people they share these streets with. Broadening his studies to better suit his new purpose, he found he had a knack for explosive demolition and picking locks. Skills that could be invaluable to his cause. Change WILL come to Taldor, one way or another.

And his Character Sheet.

Though with both Valor and Minentte working with the reformers it is likely they are well acquainted, and if they are Valor would learn Varisian sign language in an attempt to ease communication with his mute ally. I can trade out one of my bonus languages in that case.

Alchemist here. I'll PM you details when I've got it all written down, so we can workshop before I post it
