As for your money, did you already contact Lou for your refund? He worked out refunds for everyone that asked for it before they started on the Kickstarter. If you didn't go for the refund, I believe you are actually still going to get the main book out of this as long as the Kickstarter funds.
Anyway, you guys can probably tell, that I'm a big fan too and already in. I really think the way Lou has handled this, there is almost no risk and with big reliable names like Bill Webb and Greg Vaughn involved, I have confidence.
Howdy all. On another RPG topic, I have had the very good fortune of being selected as a finalist in Kobold Press's Valhalla Calling adventure competition. Hope you guys get a chance to check it out. The entries are really outstanding. Hope everyone is having a great holiday season. I look forward to finishing off our cultists!
So, I know that earlier there was some talk of retaining the group to run more games. Now that I'm married and all I have the time again to say that I'll still be involved. I thought I'd double check if we had ever decided anything.

Yep, I've volunteered to run the next game. I have three possibilities under consideration and input from all of you is welcome.
1. The Freeport Trilogy (modified for level). This might also lead into Dark Deeds in Freeport for which I believe Sinvel and I are both patrons.
2. Journeys to the West. This has a 5th level adventure that would be suitable for where I assume everyone will be at the end of this adventure plus a 7th level and a 9th level (written by yours truly). I could string these into a mini-campaign possibly concluding with Dark Deeds which IIRC is for 10th to 12th.
3. Razor Coast. Not out yet, but should be available in (roughly) the same timeframe we're ready for our next adventure. With the expanded material, I think this will cover 1st through 12th+, but the sweet spot for the original arc is 4th through 12th which should be just about right.
I was originally leaning Freeport Trilogy. Now I think I might be leaning Razor Coast. So, any input from you guys is definitely welcome. If you'd rather just do another short one, we can always go with one of the Freeport adventures or the 5th level Journeys adventure and then decide if we keep going.
Edit: Or, I forgot I also suggested the 2nd chapter of Second Darkness. That would still work too.
Having never played any of them, I can't really say, though I had some interest in the original Razor Coast. Do I get to become a pirate in any of them?
I am awaiting developments of Razor Coast. Even hoping to maybe get some return for my initial moneys spent....

Sounds like a lot of Razor Coast interest. I might be able to do a mashup with some of the others too. Seems to be a lot of interest in doing that in the Razor Coast thread. Only about $17k left to fund the Kickstarter. Right now it looks like it will be tight, but it should make it.
Sersa Victory won the Valhalla Calling contest, but it was nice to be a finalist. Hopefully will get a chance to do something with that pitch down the road. Both Brandon Hodge and Ben had some very nice things to say about it.
I'm happy with whatever you decide, though the idea of playing one your own adventures appeals.

The animated movie is Fire and Ice, so no, it is not what I'm talking about. I do in fact mean the novel series by Mr. Martin. Right now I'm just finding interest. No real set story or background yet.
Willing to take a newbie? If so, I'd be interested. I haven't picked up that game, but it looks like it might be good.
Kinda just gonna have to wait and see. Haven't started too much planning yet. The standard gaming style has the group create a minor noble house, and populate the characters from there. Given that it's at the specific request of a friend, and that's how he wants to play, that's how it will be done.
I'm ok with a newbie myself. It can be hard to find good games of this. I will say that having at least some familiarity with the novels can be helpful, at least to set the tone. It's not a happy place. Mechanically, know that combat is deadly, and the intrigue system can force you to do what npcs want.

The setting for the SIFRP game is still somewhat nebulous, given that unless everyone plans on taking the black we'll be going through House creation first. A general time period would be something I could take a look at. Any preferences?
I think I have some research to do since while I've read the books, I'm not sure which time periods that would refer to.
The base setting, if there really can be one, is right before the books begin. Tje War of the Ninepenny Kings is about 50ish years before the books, during the reign of Aerys the 2nd's father, and I believe is another rebellion. I think minor lords.
The Blackfyre Rebellion is a perennial favorite on pbp sites, mostly because there is a lot of freedom for character design. About 150 years before the books, a Targaryen bastard named Daemon Blackfyre tries to take the realm by force from his true bred siblings. Most of his army is made of bastards and skilled smallfolk, which is also something people like. It's also a time when at least a little magic still remains.
EDIT: Totally wrong about ninepenny kings. Group of power seekers led by a resurgent blackfyre line conquer tyrosh and other free cities. Aegon V and Barristan Selmy lead army to destroy the Band of Nine.
I'm going to be setting up an interest check/recruitment thread for SIFRP soon. Just a heads up for those interested. Is anybody definitely wanting to play?
