[DM Kludde] First Steps I: In service to lore (Inactive)

Game Master Kludde

In service to lore, where Venture-Captain Ambrus Valsin sends the PCs around Absalom on their first mission for the Society

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Wanted:
Players that want to have a dig at Pathfinder Society. I'm looking to run "First Steps: Part I", which is a somewhat short, but fun, introduction to PFS. For the table, I prefer 4-6 players new to PFS. I don't mind giving some help in setting up characters.

This is a PbP, and I am based in Europe. It really doesn't matter where you're from, but having some synchronicity in nocturnal cycle helps the thing move forward faster.

About myself:
As a veteran of 2nd edition AD&D, I recently started having a go at PFS as a player. Before, I have DM'ed Planescape, Ravenloft and home-brew stuff. This would be my first GM-ing of a PFS game.

Scarab Sages

I have a Tiefling Hedge Witch, she has played the second part of the first steps and I'd like for her to play the first and third.

I would like to play an Inquisitor but it might take a day or two. I'm also from Europe and have not played PFS

Liberty's Edge

I've never played pathfinder or pathfinder society but would love to get into a PBP game. I have played a few other RPG's, but for the most part am inexperienced.

I am in North America, but I am on at all different times. I have a weird sleep schedule so I tend to be on when people from Europe are on versus North Americans.

I've only made one character so far a human fighter. I would be willing to make something else, but figured this would be a good novice class.

I'm interested. I have partially made a dwarven paladin that I want to take the mounted route with; however, I am prone to changing based on the setting or what class I feel like would be good to play. I haven't got very far with making the paladin, so I may just make something new if I feel this particular character would be suited elsewhere. Haven't played pfs before, but I have played pbps, and I am centered in Europe currently.

Hi,

I'm very interested in this. I'm new to both PF and PFS but have played a lot of 3rd and 3.5, both in RL and as PbP. I live in South Africa but timezones matchup nicely to Europe.

I generally prefer playing some kind of caster. Currently thinking I would like to play an elven druid or ranger but happy to change my mind if these won't fit.

Silver Crusade

I am new, just played a virtual game saturday, ran through an AP so we leveled to 2. So I have Cole at here, Fighter 1, Monk 1 looking to run through more adventures. I am very active PBP but new to society play.

Thanks for the interest everyone. Looks like we have a nice table of six players.

To those that haven't decided on what character they want to try yet: choose what you like (as look as it is PFS legal), as long as you have rp-ing the character :). It's fairly rare to have a balanced PFS party anyway.

Would you all be so kind as to post as your character in the shiny new discussion thread?

Please correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that the First Steps games are only for level 1 legal characters.

The discussion thread should be right at the top of this thread, in a tabbed menu with Campaign Info, Gameplay, Discussion, Recruitmen, Players, Characters. If not, the thread is here

Mr Killer is indeed right that First Steps is for Tier 1. Mr Jacobs, would you consider creating a first level character?

If you'd still like one more, I would be interested in throwing in a character. I have been playing for almost 20 years [2nd ed, white wolf, 3.0, 3.5, pf], but this would be my first experience with PFS.

I am in the USA, but keep very strange hours, and post at any time of day.

Room for one more? That would make us seven. As a DM I detest the number seven. Seven cannot be, a DM cannot accomodate seven.

PFS is kind of nasty to tables of seven. Legal PFS run 4-6, so as much as I hate it, I will either have to put you on the waiting list, or encourage you find another player to fill a second table.

Sadly, I do not have any connections to anyone on the boards, so I shall wait in the wings, ready should you need a new player! I will check your campaign thread routinely, feel free to message me if a space opens up.

Silver Crusade

Ah wasn't aware it was only for levels 1. If I have a spot go ahead and let wanderer82 have it. I am in 6 PBP and just started a new job and not sure of how it will effect my activity on here. Thanks.

Thank you for your kindness Cole! Count me in, character will be up tonight!
