I like all your campaign rules, DM. Shel checking in for duty, ready to rock and roll.
Now one of the group seems to have signed up for both PFS games that are currently recruiting. You might check with them to see which game they intend on playing.

Oswin here, I'm ready to go. If you'd like, I have a dropbox folder with my chronicle sheets and an Excel file with my GP activity here.
Kobad Miro

Hey guys! checking in! It looks like all roles are covered pretty well, and switching characters wouldn't make a big difference, so I am gonna stick with Kobad. Looking forward to playing with you all!

Well, we have a witch/alchemist, but nothing dedicated, so it still seems like a good choice lol

Ok, I reset some of my stats, which should be legal because I haven't played at level 2 yet. I tried to adjust skills accordingly, but will review more thoroughly tonight.
My cleric is sturdier, but I dropped some of his channeling - also took improved init to help get buffs out sooner.
Ellie Whitespring
|
Hey all, this is Calanthe from the recruitment thread.
I had a quick look at all the players and figured that Ellie was the best fit. She's a ranged fighter, and I didn't notice that we had any of those yet. :)
EDIT: A second look discovers Kargen! Well, I'll put it out to the group--would you prefer a mad dog barbarian instead?
Oswin Durnhelm

Hey Calanthe, I would sure love a flanking buddy! My plan for the cleric is to drop bless on the party in just about every fight with my wand, and probably save protection from evil for the BBEG fight (or any fight v. casters really). I'd then wade in since my AC is pretty good and try to aid the main tank-type character.

Sigrun, out of curiosity I went looking for the Mad Dog archetype last night, but couldnt find it... what book is it from?
Sigrun Wolfrunner
|
It's in Animal Archive. :) You can check it out here if you're interested.
The short version: I trade half my rage powers and a delayed rage and DR progression for a pet and some tricks to pull with him. It's a pretty cool ranger/barbarian mixed feel archetype.

Looks like I'll drop. Seven is probably too many for PbP.

So, I was having an artistic moment and started drawing Kobad and Waldo (a drawing I will likely not share, due to how terrible it is), and after I finished drawing Kobad I looked up how big dodo's are. In the Skull and Shackles Wormwood Mutiny Book, it just says small. So I Googled it. They were up to about 1 meter. 3 ft 4 inches. Kobad is 3 foot on the nose. His familiar is taller than him. And heavier.
Sigrun Wolfrunner

Bom, one person already dropped out so we're actually at 5, if you still want to play :)
Kobad, that is one big chicken! Yikes. You should draw Kobad (attempting to) ride Waldo :P
Kobad Miro
|
The thing is, if Waldo was like 8 inches taller, he could be considered a Medium creature, and Kobad COULD ride him!

Who dropped?
Bom Skjold

Okay. Happy to join up. Thanks.

As an FYI, Bom is more than happy to help people out with their faction missions. Just prompt him IC.
@GM
- I also have the Blood of the Tales Pathfinder novel I got at PaizoCon, but I forgot to have a GM sign the Pathfinder Tales Chronicle sheet. I want to add that to Bom's chronicles.
-Also wondering if you'll honor a Character Folio Reroll. I purchased one from a game store.
Kobad Miro

Kobad would probly help anyone except a Chelaxian, which I don't think we have
Bom Skjold
|
@Bom. I'm happy to help if I can. If you want to e-mail me a pic of the folio, the re-roll is no problem. What can I do about the novel chronicle?
I'll include a picture of the book. I just need the associated Chronicle signed by a GM.

I edited the map to have workable party order...unless someone objects.
I'm always going to be in favor of Shel or someone sneaky scouting ahead and so we can know before hand whether we are going into combat or not.
Shel Whispertongue PFS

Put Shel in the front. That's her job...she's happy with that.
Bom Skjold
|
Shel, is there a reason you can't use the wand on yourself?
Shel Whispertongue PFS
|
Lol, very good point, Bom. I forget sometimes I picked up ranger rather than going straight rogue.
Bom Skjold
|
Speaking of which, drop me an IC hint that you are a ranger and I will be happy to share a charge from my Longstrider wand. Another 10 feet of movement can be a big advanage in combat.
Bom Skjold

GM, how close are we to the archive room? Wondering if it makes sense to complete the faction mission now?
Kobad Miro

I am leaving for camp here in a little bit. If I have cell service, I can post on my phone tonight and tomorrow, otherwise you can bot Kobad until I get back Wednesday evening. He is curious, but also a coward.

Had a chance to watch about half of it. Very impressive. I don't know I've seen a similar endeavor on Youtube, but then I haven't been actively looking.
Observations:
- Make sure people don't look at the camera. I think the woman seated at the table made eye contact with me during the opening joke. :)
- You might consider a little make up to make the character seem more gritty. Especially after coming back from killing x,y, z. Of course make up takes time and is one more thing that if done incorrectly might do more harm than good.
-I did like the costumes. The 3:36 Common Time is funny to me. You found a great setting with that bar. The titles screen was nicely done as was the music. Having a bard is a great plot device and mechanic of this genre.
I'll try to watch the rest of it later.

Well, the DC for tracking by scent is 10. Something this strong should get at least a +2 circumstance modifier, if not more. And yet, this would be the first time across three characters that I'd ever seen an option for tracking a creature actually contemplated by a scenario. While I will remain optimistic, I fear the GM would have to go off-script to honor the use of our ability to track.
On a related topic, Sigrun, what is the Shared Vigilance ability. I can't seem to find that in any of my books.
Sigrun Wolfrunner

It's also from Animal Archive (along with my archetype). It's from the Bodyguard animal companion archetype. It replaces Share Spells with Alertness for both the master and the pet whenever your companion is adjacent (among other things). Kinda cool for someone like me who doesn't have spells.
Animal Archive is awesome if you're interested in "pet" classes! Huntmaster Cavalier is super cool as well, trading your mount for a dog or an eagle/hawk. Probably not as strong DPS-wise as a mounted charger, but it's a lot easier to bring them into a dungeon than a horse!

Yes, I am planning on buying AA when I next visit my FLGS, rather than buy it in a PDF which I've done for my other books.
