Turn order. Frog goes first in the first round and attacks Mark though.

Kierra
Nalun
Yorn
Frog
Shalee
Maggie
Mark

The door comes off its hinges and Mark is greeted with a giant frog setting on a slimy sarcophagus. The frog shoots its tongue out at mark attempting to grab him.

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13 Mark the tongue wraps around you wet and slimy but your strength is such you break the hold. (CMD 16)

Kierra goes first. Everyone post your round 1 actions and update the map if you can. if not reference it so we can move for you.

Just for example.

Round 1

The Giant frog is in B19

Mark B16
Yorn and Maggie B15 (The map is small you can share a space to stand but not make standard or full round actions)
Shalee is in B14
Nalun is in C14
Kierra is in D14

So Kierra could say I will move to A16 and cast bless. Then someone can move her token there. I think this will be pretty cool! I am excited to try it at least.

The water in the hall is not rough terrain. But the water in the room with the frog is.

Male Slayer 8| AC 22 T 17 FF 16 | HP 73 | F +9 R +10 W +5 | Init +3 | Perc +11

Nalun moves into the room and fires a web bolt at the frog

Reflex DC 17

Web Bolt:
You launch a ball of webbing at a target, which must make a save or be affected as if by a web spell occupying only the creature's space. If the creature saves or breaks free of the webbing, the remaining webs dissolve and the square is not considered difficult terrain. The spell has no effect if the target is not on or adjacent to a solid surface that can support the webbing.

Female Human Oracle 1

Kierra casts bless on the party.

Yorn slogs through the deep water, attempting to get to his target.

Double moved to get to spot where I ended on the map due to difficult terrain

Guys do you care if we scrap initiative? It doesn't really work for PbP. The last 2 combats we have kinda ignored initiative anyway.

Frog Reflex 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26 The frog hops out of the way!

Another 2 Giant Frogs come out of the murky water. One right beside Yorn! (I don't think that qualifies as an AoO right?)

Frog Bite: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

Yorn is bit and the Frog tries to swallow him as well!

Grapple attempt: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20

Yorn I don't see your CMD but i assume its less then 20.

Yorn you are grappled by the sticky tongue You will have to attempt to break free in round 2 or be swallowed whole!

Still Round 1.

Yorn's Hp updated on the map. Ok I love this map thing!

CMB/CMD added to profile.

Yorn cries out in pain and disgust as the frog's bite shreds him. His cry turns to a bellow of anger as he slashes out at the beast.

power attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
damage: 1d12 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18

That would be your round 2 action correct? Combat started when you opened the door and Mark got attacked. You double moved for your round 1 action.

You are grappled and need to try to break free. For you to break the grapple you would have to make a CMB check vs the frogs CMD correct?

Shalee, Mark and Maggie need to take their first round actions.

Yes. CMB check vs Frog's CMD

Grand Lodge

M Half-orc Rogue 4 HP: 35/35 AC: 17, F:3 R:5 W:1 CMD: 19 Perc:+6 Init:3

Yes, I could have tried to break free or attack - you can do that while grappled. The wise thing to do would have been to break the grapple but I thought that Yorn would probably try to hack his way out first, then calm down and try and escape. Note: You can escape a grapple with either CMB vs CMD or with Escape Artist vs CMD.

Male Slayer 8| AC 22 T 17 FF 16 | HP 73 | F +9 R +10 W +5 | Init +3 | Perc +11

Grappled Condition:
Grappled: A grappled creature is restrained by a creature, trap, or effect. Grappled creatures cannot move and take a –4 penalty to Dexterity. A grappled creature takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls and combat maneuver checks, except those made to grapple or escape a grapple. In addition, grappled creatures can take no action that requires two hands to perform. A grappled character who attempts to cast a spell or use a spell-like ability must make a concentration check (DC 10 + grappler's CMB + spell level), or lose the spell. Grappled creatures cannot make attacks of opportunity.

A grappled creature cannot use Stealth to hide from the creature grappling it, even if a special ability, such as hide in plain sight, would normally allow it to do so. If a grappled creature becomes invisible, through a spell or other ability, it gains a +2 circumstance bonus on its CMD to avoid being grappled, but receives no other benefit.

Both the Frog and Yorn have this condition.

Normally, the frogs would gain this condition as well, but their sticky tongue special ability means only the PC is considered grappled. Grappled
creatures cannot take any action that requires both hands to perform.

So only Yorn is Grappled.

You will not be able to swing your great axe so I can only see Yorn trying to escape. So just do that on round 2

Yorn you can do whatever you want for round 2.

You can attack diagonally with out a reach weapon right?

Mark is up for Round 1.

Go ahead and submit your round 2 actions.

Shalee you are on higher ground so that give you a bonus. +2 is that right?

3 More posts and the frogs will go again.

(If you took initiative based feats refund them to yourself and pick a new one)

Shalee can post her round 2 action.

I will use the above initiative to decide sequence.

In round 2 Kierra comes over to Yorn's frog and fries it.

Nalun shoots frog 2 with magic missle

Yorn Power attacks frog 1 and it goes down.

The remaining frog slips under the water. Unless Mark can kill it in one hit at the end of round 1.

Do you want to leave the last frog alone or hunt it down?

Male Slayer 8| AC 22 T 17 FF 16 | HP 73 | F +9 R +10 W +5 | Init +3 | Perc +11

Nalun isn't all that bloodthirsty. He votes to exit the room via the southern exit asap.

If you do that you will avoid the fungus room.

Male Human Druid 1 0/0 XP 19/19 HP 1 Armor

Was out and about and away from my computer during the day today.

Mark will counterattack the frog immediately, moving into position and swinging his axe down mercilessly.

Power Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Damage: 1d12 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11

Maggie will follow suit if the frog survives.

Attack, with Pack Tactics flanking bonus: 1d20 + 5 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 5 + 4 = 10
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

...Well.

The frog escapes with just a blast from Nalun's wand.

I will assume you move to the room with the wheel.

Kierra remember that Yorn took 10 damage!

Yorn leans heavily against the sarcophagus and smiles at Kierra. "I think I might be more trouble than I'm worth."

Map updated!

Yorn scouting is difficult in the water but you do the best you can. You see nothing to attack you but you never can tell in this place...

This large chamber is partially flooded, with the south end just
barely rising out of the stagnant water. A large wheel is set
into the floor of the dry area, attached to chains that rise up
into the ceiling. A thick layer of slick, black mold covers the
carvings on the walls of this chamber.

Yorn roll perception please.

Female Human Oracle 1

Kierra catches the smile from Yorn, and nods reassuringly as she approaches him. "You're worth a lot though..."

Blushing, she brushes her hair back behind her ear, and lays a hand on the half-orc's injuries.

Her eyes roll back into her head briefly, and the air feels alive in the tight quarters of the crypt as she casts her spell.

Nice roll!

Yorn you can just barely make out through the scummy water that there is a small underwater path in the center of this room. If you were to cross the room the wrong way you would plunge into the water. Yuck!

Path is marked on the Map now.

"Whoa! Stick to this side. That other side will swallow you up."

You are just about to tell everyone about the Pits when you see six skeletons rise up from the water! They bring rusted javelins out from the pool of water and ready them to throw at the party.

Round 1: Post your action we are scrapping initiative.

Male Human Druid 1 0/0 XP 19/19 HP 1 Armor

"I'll handle this," Mark says, looking confident. He strides across the safe path toward the wheel and begins to turn it.

The water in here is not hindering terrain btw.

Mark you get about right there (check the map) and you see the skeletons come out of the water.

Spell sound effect

"HEY! What the...huh?! OH! OH I'M BIG! IIIII HAAAAAVE THE POWAAAAAAHHHHH!!" Mark roars.
