Growing impatient with the inability of fellow party members to make a decision, the rash eidolon strikes out to the west, the rest of the party following with a little prodding from Zart.
The majority of this room contains a nasty-looking stretch of mud—a partially collapsed sinkhole—kept damp by rivulets of water seeping from the walls. A patch of solid ground extends into the mud to form an island, on which is heaped a reeking pile of body parts. To the north, a rickety wheelbarrow sits on its side against the wall.
A disgusting creature with three tentacles wallows around in the mud, enjoying a veritable feast of body parts. It notices the eidolon, who is making no effort to be silent, and immediately cries out "Warm Food!

Party Up!

Wednesday Daud |

Looking about the room shrouded in "magical dark" he wasn't even sure was there he will go over and inspect the body of their opponent
Uh, Crispy?

Wednesday Daud |

Heal: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28
Daud will check the man for signs of yet life while disarming him. (Kinda foregone since you already said he was unconscious but still) Dragging him over to be questioned later that plan is cut short when Raamanti bursts into another room and greets it's occupant. Cursing under his breath he will instead opt to throw the dead weight at the creature to hopefully deter it from charging.
Also are the weapons sized for a small or medium creature?

Wednesday Daud |

Ooo we could tie the repeater to Bones so we have a little mini siege creature.

Raamanti |

Raamanti closes the distance between the tentacled creature, stopping short 5ft away and swings his enormous hammer with all his might.
Lucerne hammer, power attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
Damage, power attack: 1d12 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18
Crit confirm: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Crit damage (maybe, you never know): 1d12 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10

Zart the Lost |

Zart enters the room as stealthily as he is able trying to keep Raamanti and the other party members between him and the creature (will try to stay within reach of Raamanti, but to the north of him).
Zart stealth: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12
Zart casts a spell that will help Raamanti avoid all but the most accurate of the creature's blows.
"ασπίδα" -- shield

Pyron Firehide |

Even though Pyron can act first, he doesn't actually see what's around the bend, so when the individuals in front of him move forward, he will move forward accordingly and use evil eye on the creature. (Will DC 11, 4 turns if fail, 1 turn if saved, -2 vs attack rolls)

Gaius Tindareus |

Gaius once again drops his sword, unstraps his shield, and draws his crossbow.
Filthy creature...
Looks like an aberration. Anyone have Know (Dungeoneering)?

DM Crispy |

Wednesday steps into the room, tossing their unconscious captive close to the creature in the hopes it will distract the beast.
Gaius readies himself to battle the creature from a distance...either thinking tactically or deciding to let more intrepid party members engage the beast up close.
Raamanti charges in, hitting the creature with a powerful blow that takes its breath away.
Tolenn moves into the room, up close and personal with the creature to try to take the brunt of its attacks.
Pyron moves up, making faces at the creature. It looks only mildly concerned at these faces.
Zart stealthily moves into the room, hugging the shadows of the northern wall. He casts a spell to make his eidolon and closest friend harder to hit for the freak show they are fighting.
The beast focuses most of its attacks on the aggressor who has damaged it. The abomination's bite seems to find its mark, only to be thwarted by an invisible force around Raamanti. The tentacle gets nowhere close.
Bite: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Tentacle 1: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
It slaps at Tolenn with the other tentacle. It succeeds against the human woman, trying to grab her. It succeeds, starting to squeeze the woman forcefully.
Grapple: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (15) + 13 = 28
Tentacle 2: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
I screwed up and put the grapple up top. Tentacle 2 was just a regular hit.
Summary:
Thing - 18 damage
Party Up!
Edit:
Will: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
Rolled an 18 against her AC before my screw up, and Pyron's Evil Eye reduces to 16, which misses.

Pyron Firehide |

Pyron will use Evil Eye (-2 to AC) and will cackle to extend the evil eye by one turn. DC 11 Wis, cackle means (5 turns if fail and 2 turns if successful on will save).

Wednesday Daud |

Stepping up alongside Tolenn he'll draw the hammer again, no seeming rhyme or reason for why he specifially picked that one as he brings it down on the creature.
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Raamanti |

Raamanti brings his hammer around for another blow, his shadowy face set in grim determination (that none can see).
Lucerne hammer, power attack : 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Damage : 1d12 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21
Zart's action will depend on the creature's status. If I'm holding things up, he takes a delay action.

Zart the Lost |

Okay, got some more time for a contingency post. Zart will wait for Tolenn to strike again.
If the monster goes down...
Zart sighs deeply and surveys the room.
"Well, it's nice to have such powerful allies. It would appear we went the wrong way. Perhaps Raamanti, you would like to lead the way east?"
If the monster is still standing...
Zart casts a spell in the haughty tongue of divination:
"οδηγία" -- Guidance
The shadow caller touches Raamanti on the shoulder before returning to the shadows behind the big eidolon.

DM Crispy |

Wednesday again finds that the cow hammer did a much better job of slaughtering innocent people than terrifying monsters.
Gaius steps in front of Pyron, getting ready to shoot something.
Raamanti completely blasts the creature with his lucerne hammer again, acting like he's swinging at the strong man event at the fair. The beast is visibly worn out by the blow...
And then Tolenn finishes it off with a sweeping gash across its side. It collapses unceremoniously to the ground.
Combat over!

Wednesday Daud |

Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24
Clicking his tongue Daid will return the hammer to its strap before searching the room for anything useable.

Raamanti |

So, I may have missed it in a description above, but there seems to be another dude in here with us... ignoring him in Raamanti's actions below, but if he's alive, we'll clearly focus on helping him out.
Ramanti helps Daud to search the room, paying particular attention to the rickety wheelbarrow. Specifically, Raamanti checks to see if this is likely the wheelbarrow used to transport the body down here.
Perception: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (17) + 14 = 31

Zart the Lost |

Zart quickly and quietly casts another know-it-all incantation, sounding very aloof as he chants in the haughty tongue of divination:
"ανίχνευση μαγεία" -- detect magic
Eyes glowing slightly as he senses magical auras, Zart will sweep the room for any that do not belong to the party.

DM Crispy |

That's the poor dude you all just blasted that Wednesday threw to the creature in the hopes it would eat him and not you. :)
Between Raamanti and Wednesday, you find a set of legs and hips with Shoanti tribal tattoos. The wheelbarrow does seem a likely candidate for the corpse transport from up above.
Wednesday finds a necklace made of amber while looking through a particularly disgusting pile of...stuff.
Raamanti manages to snag a silver dagger while using his hammer to sift through things.
After funneling through the party's magic, Zart sees a faint aura of Divination coming from a pile of goo near where the creature was.

Wednesday Daud |

Daud will begin absentmindly cleaning and polishing the necklace with the cuff of his shirt while moving over and placing a boot upon the downed man.

Raamanti |

"OH, THANK YOU FOR THAT OPPORTUNITY, MY MASTER," says Raamanti, obviously in response to some form of magical command, "I WOULD LOVE TO SIFT THROUGH THAT PILE WHILE YOU CHECK TO SEE WHAT THE GLOW IS FROM AFAR. IN MY REST THE SHADOW WORLD, I AM A KEEN GARBAGE PILE DIVER, ALWAYS FILTERING THROUGH OTHERS REFUSE TO FIND SHINY TRINKETS. SO GLAD I COULD CONTINUE MY PROUD TRADITION HERE, MY MASTER. THANK YOU."
The sarcastic Eidolon then obediently, but grumpily, sifts through the pile of goo until he produces whatever it is that produced the divination aura.
Once the object has been found, Zart will attempt to identify it. Spellcraft: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22

Pyron Firehide |

Pyron searches around the room and walls for anything out of the ordinary out that seems out of place. perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Gaius Tindareus |

Gaius retrieves his weapons and stows them, continuing to hold the now-loaded crossbow. He points it toward the unconscious creature.
Do you think he knows where the necromancer is? I could wake him up and...ask.
The half-elf produces a vial of smelling salts and looks to the others for their input.

Wednesday Daud |

Daud steps off the man and gives a slight flourish of his hands for the the inquisitor to proceed.

Zart the Lost |

"Hello there, my name is Zart, and we have come to retrieve a body and capture the necromancer," says Zart, rather matter-of-factly, "You attacked us, but beyond that we care not taking you in. We'd be happy if you just left Korvosa. But that favor requires a certain amount of give on your part. Tell us where to find the rest of the Shoanti's body and the necromancer and we will let you leave the city unhindered. If not, you'll face Korvosan justice. I think you know what that means.
"These things are no threats, just statements of fact," Zart leans back casually, "So, do you have anything you'd like to share with us?"
Diplomancy: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26
I figured we'd give him a chance to accept the carrot before Gaius brings in the stick.

Zart the Lost |

Zart will repeat the same line of reasoning in Aklo then Infernal. If neither works, he shrugs and looks to Gaius.

DM Crispy |

When Zart repeats his question in Aklo, the man suddenly perks up, nodding as he continues to cackle.
The little man's eyes move shiftily from side to side, then he grins, speaking again.
He looks at Zart expectantly, nodding his head vigorously, smile on his face, eyes watering (likely because they haven't blinked at all during the entire conversation).

Zart the Lost |

Zart looks to Raamanti, who approaches slowly and steadily, lucerne hammer in hand.

Gaius Tindareus |

Gaius moves to draw his sap then pauses, seeing that the strange creature seems to understand Zart. He eyes the exchange warily, waiting to hear some good news.

DM Crispy |

The diminutive man's eyes grow even wider, the grin on his face larger as he cackles madly.
The man looks up for a moment, mouthing what he just said, then laughs.
The mad creature nods furiously at the fetchling, hopeful grin in place.

Zart the Lost |

"Thank you for indulging me," Zart says as he turns to the group, a sad look on his face, "It appears as though the necromancer wil be using the poor Shoanti's head on some kind of flesh golem. His arms and torso may be scattered elsewhere in this complex, but this crazed fool knows not where - nor does he know where Rolth is.
"You heard the deal I offered him," says Zart finally, "He has not fulfilled his part of the bargain. He says he spoke the truth, but I asked for to locations, neither of which he provided. If it is okay with you, I will have Raamanti knock him out so we can take him back to the Citadel to face..." Zart hesitates to spark an argument again, but sighs and continues anyway, "...justice."

Wednesday Daud |

"Not that I'm all that fond of doing Croft any favors but why exactly don't we just snuff the little git right now?"

Zart the Lost |

"My assumption was that we weren't cold blooded killers," says Zart sarcastically, and more than a little exasperated, "But we have more important things to do here than argue. Do what you will."

Wednesday Daud |

"Well we both know what happens when we make assumptions, just ask Trinia." As the words leave him the grim smirk he was wearing immediately shifts to a snarl. "Oh, wait." Finalizing his point he'll bring the cleaver down into the creature's neck... Provided no one intervenes.

Zart the Lost |

Disgusted Zart turns away mumbling, "Trinia yet lives, how many times must I say this? And that man, sad creature though he was, had nothing to do with it."

Raamanti |

Raamanti echoes his master's sentiments by slowly shaking his head. Raamanti sighs deeply, walking up to the north west door, checking for sounds or traps and then opening it to investigate the room beyond.
Perception : 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (6) + 14 = 20

Pyron Firehide |

Pyron will intervene, "Do you think that this creature has a chance of redemptionfrom his evil ways if we were to bring him to Croft? If you answer is yes, then let him live; if not, then do not let him live. Ask him if you must."

Wednesday Daud |

If I say no Tolenn will smack me even though it's true.

Raamanti |

"ENOUGH OF THIS!" grumbles Raamanti, sounding like a massive rock-slide heard two towns over, "THE MAN IS NOT WORTH OUR ATTENTIONS. FROM WHAT I HEARD, HE IS INSANE AN INCAPABLE OF REPENTANCE."
Raamanti brings his enormous hammer to bear, striking at the base of the man's skull. Observant onlookers would notice that he turned the hammer at the last minute to strike a less harmful blow.
Lucerne hammer, non-lethal: 1d20 + 7 - 4 ⇒ (15) + 7 - 4 = 18
Non-lethal damage: 1d12 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
None are sure whether Raamanti did this in response to a telepathic command from Zart or of his own volition. Given the eidolon's agitated state, it is perhaps wise not to ask.
With that sorted out, Raamanti turns his back upon Daud and Pyron and (for real this time) opens the door to the north west.

Zart the Lost |

"Thank you, my friend," says Zart, solemnly, and then addresses the others, "Raamanti was quite correct. This creature has long ago gone completely mad. The gravity of the situation completely escapes him. Now he offers no threat and we can take him to the authorities. If we want to continue in meting out justice ourselves without deference to the law, then perhaps we'd best agree in advance that this is what we are doing.
"Daud," he says, holding up a hand to forestall the expected outburst, "I am fully sympathetic to your cause with Trinia. I do not agree with your methods, though. I am used to a more circumspect approach to things. If the trial goes against her, then we will mount a rescue mission and I will be at your side. Do not forget that I sent my beloved daughter away from here only a short while after we were reunited. I did this in anticipation of a new career as an outlaw,a career choice made primarily because of our likely next course of action regarding Trinia. I want to help right that particular wrong, but only if your head is in the right place.
"For now, though, our thoughts and deeds need to be occupied with another matter. The necromancer is wanted dead or alive, so it is perfectly lawful to kill him. I do not think it necessary to decide on his death ahead of time, though - in fact, I find it disgusting to do so - but if he should die as a result of his resistance to his arrest, then so be it. Now, let us move on and remember what we are here for: to retrieve a body and see to it that war does not come to Korvosa."
Zart then goes about re-casting resistance on everyone, finishing with guidance on Raamanti (assuming, of course, that Raamanti doesn't trigger something new by opening the door).
