Those that can see observe that there are at least 12 crooks taking advantage of the Pyrotechnics to run amok; taking down the bouncers, barring the doors, roughly ripping off the jewelry off of passing rich folk, etc.
The woman [red 1] is shouting (bardic oration)"All right folks! Drop to the ground and don't try anything stupid and we might let you live!'
Naturally only half submit to this, the rest of the hundred odd gamblers shriek and run hither and fro, looking for escape. This produces a difficult terrain situation for any movement on the floor.
"This is unwise. You are outnumbered here. Stand down and we can avoid bloodshed."
'the gendarmes are moments away: cease this foolish assault and you can avoid being pigmeat in an earth bath!'
This makes no impression on the crooks, and the woman laughs.
"Outnumbered ye say? Ye need to go back to school an' larn how ta count all over again! An' the gendarmes don't know nothin' about this just yet. Ye don't need ta be dyin fer a casino taday now me lads, so lie down nice an' quiet while we finish our bizness."She doesn't seem like she's bluffing.
The crooks take no other actions during Surprise, those who made the Sense Motive check and are unblinded may take their action during Surprise before regular initiatives begin.
Maelorn cast a spell, Darcy tried a bluff, Bor is last to act.

Darcy DeWinter |

Darcy (assuming the initiative count gets to him and he's still up... and any of the following is still relevant...) laughs out loud, a grin spliting his handsome face: silken banners, chandeliers, and him on the stage at the most accustically viable spot in the hall? Perfection! He mutters a pray of thanks that of all the gods, at least Cayden Cailean knows how to offer his followers a good time...
'You think us a flock of pigeons, to be plucked and baked in your pie?' he calls out, addressing the female bard who seems to be leading the criminals, but making sure all can hear him, 'We're a hundred or more Riddleport citizens! You think any man here doesn't wield steel or spell? And the women are even more dangerous... Your dimwitted dozen don't stand a chance! Come on,' he calls to the crowd, in an attempt to rally them, 'the party's just starting! Get them!'
Perform (oratory) 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18
That oratory is also an Inspire Courage bardic performance (two can play at that game) - and Darcy's happy for everyone except the criminals to count themselves his allies (hopefully his previous well received performances may have gotten a few citizens to that state anyway).
For his move action, Darcy will run to the edge of the stage near the female Bard and leap over the (difficult terrain) crowd to land next to her, drawing his longsword as he does so. If there happens to be a chandelier handy to buckle his swash even more, then by all means, he'll take the opportunity!
Acrobatics 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

DM-Camris |

Description addition-
Chandeliers are present throughout the casino floor (though unlit for this tournament). These seem to be bolted to ceiling joists, so you can't drop them on enemies (at least, not without an epic sunder roll).
In game terms, anyone who can make an Acrobatics check DC16 can jump up and move (swing) up to twenty feet without going through the difficult terrain on the floor. If you start from a tabletop or the platform the DC is reduced to 6.
Weapons-
For the tournament, the bouncers at the door don't allow any weapons that take two hands to operate, so no halberds, bows (any type), greataxes, et al. The bouncers do check backpacks.
One hand side arms are all right.
Apologies for not mentioning this at the outset.

Maelorn |

Since neither Thief #1 or #9 (the only ones ahead of Maelorn in the initiative) are likely to do anything that will change my action, I'll post it now so it doesn't slow things up
Maelorn draws his silver hammer, and holding it high calls out "Torag, lend your aid upon we who are beset!" Casting Bless on everyone who isn't one of the criminals within 50'. That gets most of the casino, and all of the PCs except Bor, who is too far away...The +1 morale bonus to saves won't stack with the one provided by Darcy, but the +1 to hit will stack.

Eros Tristil |

Free Action: Eros is trying to remember where the guards put his two handed weapons when he walked in.
Intelligence Check: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Move Action: Eros Draws his Flail.
Standard Action: He then swings it viciously at Thug #6 and he lets out a spirted battle cry that would even make a demogorgon cringe.
+1 to attack added in for Maerlorn's Bless
Attack Roll:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
Critical Threat:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
If theat is a crit, here is the extra damage:
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

DM-Camris |

Thief #9 continues to loot.
Thief #1 continues to orate threats and encourage the thieves; she sneers at Darcy's efforts and tells him to shut up and lie down. She unlimbers a light crossbow, but holds her fire. [holds action]
Maelorn calls down a Bless on allies.
Thug #8 continues to loot.
Thug #12, walking from the public privies towards the center platform is subjected to Bor's sniper attack; which hits him dead center. The illusion covering him is disrupted and disappears with a pop; revealing a distinguished man in robes and carrying a staff.
Barely hesitating, he calls out.
"Mister Green, Mister Blue, Mister Gray, there is someone at the bar who dearly wishes to be a hero. Be so good as to grant him a heroic death." [Delaying the rest of his turn till phase 10]
Thugs 2, 3 and 4 all drop their saps, draw shortswords, daggers and clubs and hustle up towards Bor. Hampered by the difficult terrain, only Thug 2 gets inside the bar this round. He looks around for Bor, but doesn't see him.
Bor fires at #2 from behind the wall hangings, sinking his bolt under his armpit and dropping him.
Thug 6 shouts "Hey its a mage, get him!" and charges towards Maelorn.
Shortsword charge attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16 but it glances aside from his shield.
Eros can't quite remember where the bouncers stashed his two handed weapons. Pulling his flail he winds up, and as #6 isn't in range anymore, he unloads on #5 and obliterates the thieves face, pinning him to the wall in a gruesome display.
Darcy grins and orates for the people to rise up at the thieves. Mostly preoccupied, only two respond; but still blind, they are quickly dropped by attacks of opportunity from the thieves.
Jumping up to a chandelier and swinging over to #1 (in a very swashbuckling flourish, he draws his sword.
Thief #11 maneuvers behind Darcy and makes a sneak attack.
Rapier sneak attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Rapier damage: 1d6 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + 1 + (6) = 11
Thug 12, at the platform.
He says "Thuvalia, dispose of that cretin. It's time."
He snaps a scroll open and speaks the command word. As the scroll smokes and withers, the armored chest with the prize money wavers and shrinks down, down, down until it is the size of a shoebox.
Thief #7 steps up to Eros and attacks with his rapier.
Rapier attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10 but misses.
Thug #10 double moves over to the platform to back up #11.
Last up:
Zane-- 8
Alexandru-- 7

Eros Tristil |

Eros: Round 2
Standard Action: Eros sneers at Thug #7 as he swings violently at him.
+2Attack\+1 damage added in for Bless/Inspire Courage
Attack Roll:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
Damage Roll:1d8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Move Action: Perception Check: Eros is looking for his weapons
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
Are any of the thugs Elven or half-elven?

Darcy DeWinter |

Round 2: again, assuming that Darcy's even up by his count in the Initiative order...
Gritting his teeth as the point of a thug's rapier slices him from behind, Darcy inwardly sighs at the lack-luster response to his rousing speach: that he thinks to himself, is why the world needs heroes...
Managing to still smile through the pain of his wound, Darcy keeps up the verbal tirade,
'Keep it up lads!' he shouts encouragingly, 'We've got 'em on the ropes!'... honestly he silently adds to himself...
Free action - continue Inspire Courage
Standard action - Fighting Defensively with Combat Expertise, Darcy will swing his sword at the rapier-wielder who just skewered him, so, including competance and morale bonuses to hit, that's an even: 1d20 ⇒ 1
If he hits, damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Move action - Darcy takes a 5ft step 'up' / 'north' / towards the curved table he's near, readying his shield as he does so. With the Fighting Defensively and Combat Expertise that should give him an AC of 20
(By the way, Alexandu - did you remember the Bless and Inspire Courage bonuses in your rolls? Not sure if it'd help in that particular case, but you never know!)
Edit: okay, so Darcy obviously forgot which end of a sword goes in the other guy... but on the plus side, he has a beautiful singing voice! ;)

DM-Camris |

Round 1 phase 8
[npc]Zane decides to hold his action, carefully studying the scene around him and waiting for his opportunity to act effectively.
Round 1 phase 7
Alexandu rises, draws his sling and fires at Thug #12; only to miss.

DM-Camris |

Round 2 phase 24
Spotting Alexandru's attack, Thief #9 jumps up and swings on a chandelier to the top of a card table in the middle of the casino floor on his way to attack Alexandru next round.
Round 2 phase 24
Thuvalia [Thief #1], having held until now, calmly steps back and unloads her crossbow into Darcy.
Crossbow shot: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11 Miss. She curses and drops the crossbow.
Round 2 phase 23
Thuvalia [Thief #1] draws her rapier and lunges at Darcy, snarling curses.
Rapier thrust: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10 Miss. Darcy doesn't even need to parry as he sways aside.
Round 2 phase 20
[npc]Maelorn holds his action and waits for opportunity.
Round 2 phase 19
Thug #8 moves up next to Eros and attacks with a shortsword.
Shortsword attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24 for 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 points of damage.
Critical threat confirmed? 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 is confirmed for an extra 1d2 ⇒ 1 points of DEX damage. Target speed is halved until healed.
Round 2 phase 18
Thug #12 climbs up to the platform, picks up the newly micronized grand prize chest and puts it in his pocket. He says: "Come Thuvalia, it is time."
Round 2 phase 18
Thief #3 "Mr. Blue" moves up to Bor and attacks with a rapier.
Rapier thrust: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13 Miss. Deflected off of armor.
Round 2 phase 17
Thug #4 "Mr. Gray" moves up to engage Bor but moved too far to attack this round.

Maelorn |

Noting the effectiveness of Eros' flail, Maelorn calls out, "Eros, I'm leaving this one to you. I'm going to try and help that Bard, he's surrounded."
Maelorn then moves towards Darcy as quickly as he can, but is hampered by the milling crowd.
Double Move in difficult terrain, while encumbered. Ugh. Maelorn will end up 4 squares east of #10.
As a reminder, AC is currently 20 due to Shield of Faith

DM-Camris |

At this point Maelor takes his action to double move closer to Darcy.
Thug #6 takes an attack of opportunity.
Sap attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24 Hit! For 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6 nonlethal damage.
Round 2 phase 15
[npc] Bor holds his action.
Round 2 phase 15
Thug #6 pursues Maelor, "Hey come back here!", but moves too far to attack.
Round 2 phase 14
Eros sneers at thief #7 and drops him with an almost casual backanded flail hit.
Eros doesnt see any of his large weapons, and none of the thugs he sees appear to be elf blooded.
Round 2 phase 13
Darcy shouts encouragingly [inspire courage +1], spins to attack thief #11 and threatens a fumble.
Fumble confirmed? 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (17) + 0 = 17 Becomes an ordinary miss. Barely. He then moves five feet towards a card table defensively.
Round 2 phase 12
Thief #11 pursues Darcy and lunges again.
Rapier lunge: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 Hit! For 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 points of damage.
Critical threat? 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 Denied.
Round 2 phase 9
Thug #10 runs up with a shortsword grinning and attacks.
Shortsword attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11 Miss. Casual parry by Darcy.
Bor, Zane and Alexandru are left to act this round.

Maelorn |

Since the actions of #1 & #9 are again unlikely to affect his actions, I'll again post prior to my action.
Maelorm moves to the edge of the dias (just southeast of #12), ignoring the thug trailing him, and takes a swing at the man with with the box in his pocket.
Silvered Hammer: 1d20 + 3 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 3 + 1 + 1 = 7...yikes, what a crappy roll
edited location since the map when up whitle I was posting :)

Alexandu Trefilidis |

Alexandu fires his sling again, pronouncing a judgment of destruction to make it hurt, this time at thug #10, as he recognizes a fellow Calistrian in the bard.
Remembering Bless and Inspire Courage this time.
Attack:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16, damage1d4 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

Eros Tristil |

Eros: Round 3
Move Action: Eros, seemingly immune to the assault by #8, Coughs up a large green and yellow hoocker and spits it into the face of thug #8, and he laughs defiantly.
+2Attack/+1Damage Added in for Bless/Inspire Courage
Standard Action: Eros lets out a groan as he strains to put all of his strength behind his flail attack, and he twists his hips for better follow-through.
Attack Roll:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
Damage:1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9

Darcy DeWinter |

Round 3:
Free actions: Rather amazed that he's actually still standing, Darcy backs to the card table (5ft step - hopefully making flanking him a little harder) while keeping up his oration (i.e. maintains his Inspire Courage effect),
'While I'd never harm a lady,' Darcy grins (quite possibly like the proverbial idiot, considering his beaten state - but at least he's still cute...) to Thuvalia, 'it seems that others aren't quite as blinded by your beauty...' he nods to the wound caused by Zane's magical assault, '... I strongly suggest you all surrender before my companions of the moment get fed up and start to take this whole thing seriously.'
Move action: Darcy sheaths his longsword to free up a hand...
Standard action: ... and casts Cure Light Wounds on his own battered form...
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Bor |

so I lost my round 2 action..ok
Round 3:
Realizing he is out numbered Bor dives behind the bar for cover and reloads his crossbow..
Move action 1: Move 5' diagonally to the northwest and leap over the bar.
Move action 2: reload crossbow
Acrobatics 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23
Stealth behind bar 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28

Darcy DeWinter |

so I lost my round 2 action..ok
I don't think so - the DM hasn't posted the results of actions since he posted that you're one of the three 'left to act'; just 'cos some of us post out of turn (and hope that our characters are still alive to carry out those actions) shouldn't mean you don't get to act.

DM-Camris |

Cleanup for round 2
Bor flips up and over the bar, crouches down and reloads his crossbow.
Levelling his cane, Zane calls upon the power of his bonded item as a sliver of pure force
strikes Thief #1 "Thuvalia", wounding her.
Alexandru pops up and slings a bullet into the back of thug #10's head with unnatural force,
dropping him.

Thief #9-- 24
Jumps up and swings on a chandelier over to where Alexandru is, drops to the ground, and
attacks.
Rapier thrust: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16 Miss. Blocked by Alexandru's shield.
Thief #1 "Thuvalia"-- 23
Jumps up on the card table, then swings on a chandelier over to where thug #12 is;
amazingly just in time to block the advance of Maelorn.
Maelorn-- 20
Advances towards Thug #12, but is blocked by Thuvalia. He swings and misses.
Thug #8-- 19
Attacks Eros in a rage, for killing his buddies.
Shortsword attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 Just plain missed.
Thug #12-- 18
Ignoring Maelorn like he was unworthy of notice, double moves towards the front doors.
Thief #3 "Mr. Blue"-- 18
Rolls over the bar and looks for Bor.
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 "Where'd the %$#^%$# did he go?"
Thug #4 "Mr. Gray"-- 17
Rolls over the bar and looks for Bor.
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19 "He's gotta be here somewhere!"
Bor-- 15
Holds his action, waiting.
Thug #6-- 15
Flanks Maelorn from behind and attacks.
Shortsword attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 Miss.
Eros-- 14
Spits, laughs, groans and crushes thug #8s ribcage, dropping him.
Darcy-- 13
Makes a cutting comment, continues Inspire courage +1, [I assume steps back,
holds sword with shield hand] and casts Cure Light Wounds on self.
Thief #11-- 12
Follows Darcy to attack. Rapier thrust: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13 Miss.
Leaving Bor, Zane and Alexandru last to act for round 3.
Bor, they WILL find you next round, no matter how high your stealth is.

Maelorn |

In the same way that Maelorn's double move provoked an AoO, I'm assuming Thug #12 provokes an AoO with his double move
Hammer Attack on #12 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13 feh...likely a miss...oh, wait, forgot Bless and Inspire Courage...so a 15
Just in case his AC is lowered from being in same square as Thuvalia, I'll roll dmg :)
Dmg 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
I am going to have to wait for #1 & #9 before figuring out my action, but at the top of the round, Maelorn points to #12 and shouts to the room at large...
"Stop him! He has the prize money!"

Darcy DeWinter |

[I assume steps back, holds sword with shield hand]
Nope - as stated he took a 5ft step back (Free action) to avoid AoO, then sheathed his sword (Move action), then cast (Standard action). Since his darkwood shield is a heavy shield, he can't use that hand to hold anything else... and he's damned well not dropping his sword, hence the posted sequence of actions.
Round 4:
Feeling a little healthier, Darcy's torn between his logical brain thanking the gods that some of the heat is off him, and his romantic brain being sad that the pretty lady ran away... (to tell the truth I have no idea if she's pretty or not (has he seen enough of her for a description yet?), but Darcy tends to think that way about most women...)
'That's right, you grog-blossoms!' Dacy continues to orate, 'Run! Lest you face the wrath of... Darcy DeWinter!.. and some other heroes... (and Eros...).'
Free action: Maintain Inspire Courage
Move action: Draw longsword again
Standard action: Take a swing at the thug he's left with...
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
Damage (if he hits): 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Bor |

Round 3:
Bor jumps up on the bar and swings from a chandelier "Yeehaa!!! This is definetly my kinda joint" jokes the dwarf as hits the ground and fires a bolt fat Mr. Grey...
Move Action: Move 20' by chandelier to N4
Acrobatics 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
Attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Confirm Critical 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Damage 1d10 ⇒ 9
Critical Damage 1d10 ⇒ 1

DM-Camris |

Cleanup for round 3
Bor jumps up on the bar and swings from a chandelier "Yeehaa!!! This is definetly my kinda joint" jokes the dwarf as hits the ground and fires a bolt fat Mr. Grey, taking him in the throat and dropping him.
When Thug #12 double moved, Maelorn made an attack of opportunity as he passed by, only to have it knocked aside by his staff.
Zane's action.
As the thug approaches, Alexandu drops his sling and draws his morningstar in one swift movement, bashing at thug #9, crushing his skull with unnatural force and dropping him.

Bor, since you are in full view of people, you can't use stealth.

Attacks with his shortsword against Maelorn.
Shortsword attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16 Miss. Foiled against his shield.

Sorry about that, your equipment list only says "Darkwood Shield"; I assumed it was a light shield.
For the record, Thuvalia's Charisma is 15.
'That's right, you grog-blossoms!' Dacy continues to orate, 'Run! Lest you face the wrath of... Darcy DeWinter!.. and some other heroes... (and Eros...).'
Darcy draws his longsword again and smoothly runs thief #11 through, dropping him.
Zane-- 8
Alexandru-- 7
Leaving Maelorn, Eros, Zane and Alexandru to act.

Zane Argentus |

Assessing the situation, Zane incants a quick arcane phrase, the air around him rippling as reality reshapes to his will, a momentarily shimmering image of armor appearing around his body.
He strides forward, coming around the other side of the table to face the thug with Alexandru
Mage Armor

Maelorn |

__________________________________
Thief #1 "Thuvalia"-- 23
Attacks with her Rapier against Maelorn.
Rapier thrust: 1d20+5 Hit! For 1d6+1 points of damage.
Not today :) AC is currently 20 due to Shield of Faith
Maelorn sighs, "Well, miss, since your friend is so obliging, I guess we can discuss your situation further"
Stopping his pursuit of the mage, he swings at Thuvalia.
Hammer Attack: 1d20 + 3 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 3 + 1 + 1 = 19
Damage: 1d8 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 + 1 = 6

Eros Tristil |

Eros delights in the pain brought on by the magic darts. The feeling has caused his blood to boil, and it has made him feel alive.
Free Action: Eros takes a 5-foot step northeast, so he will be in front of the door where dead thug #5 is laying.
Standard Action: Eros flails thug #12 with an electric energy brought on by fatigue and pain.
+2Attack/+1Damage added in for Bless/Inspire Courage
Attack Roll:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Damage:1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

Eros Tristil |

If Eros is not within melee range to attack # 12, then he will get as close to him as he can and throw his dagger at him. He will just use the die roll given above, but his modifiers will be different since it is a ranged attack. The range increment for the dagger is 10 feet, so there may be some kind of penalty to the attack roll.
Attack Roll: 1d20+7 = 13+7 = 20
Modifiers: +2 BaB, +2Dex, +1 Point Blank Shot, +1 Bless, +1 Inspire Courage
This will be his damage for the dagger:
1d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Modifiers: +1Str,+1Inspire Courage,+1Point Blank Shot

Cleanup for round 4
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- -----
Zane
Assessing the situation, Zane incants a quick arcane phrase, the air around him rippling
as reality reshapes to his will, a momentarily shimmering image of armor appearing
around his body.
He strides forward, coming around the other side of the table to face the thug with
Alexandru.
Alexandu Trefilidis
Alexandu advances to engage Thug #6, hoping to take some of the heat off Maelorn.
Maelorn
Maelorn's Shield of Faith actually deflected Thuvalia's thrust.
Maelorn sighs, "Well, miss, since your friend is so obliging, I guess we can discuss
your situation further"
Stopping his pursuit of the mage, he swings at Thuvalia and cracks her left leg.
She stumbles back wounded twice now.
Eros Tristil
Eros delights in the pain brought on by the magic darts. The feeling has caused his
blood to boil, and it has made him feel alive.
Eros takes a 5-foot step northeast, so he will be in front of the door
where dead thug #5 is laying.
Eros flails thug #12 with an electric energy brought on by fatigue and pain.
Thug #12 easily blocks the attack with his staff, also elegantly using the corner
of the wall as cover.

Darcy DeWinter |

Glancing down at the thug he's just skewered, Darcy sighs,
'Why do they never listen to the whole "wrath" bit?' he mutters, then shakes his head and runs to vault up on the stage once more, trying to flank Thuvalia (and gain a high ground advantage), orating as he goes,

Maelorn |

Maelorn will pause long enough to give Thuvalia the option to surrender. If she does not, he'll continue to attack, taking advantage of Darcy's flanking maneuver.
