Marguerite moves quickly outside the crypt and pulls the wand out of her belt.

Anton moves as fast as possible out of the crypt, stopping next to Marguerite, near the rope that helped them climb down the hill.

Retreating carefully, Marguerite avoids any possible attacks. Had Marguerite use the full withdraw action.

Unable to do the same, Anton turns and runs. Anton feels the skeletons claw catch his clothing but it does no harm.

The skeletons do not seem to want to pursue outside and move out of view of the door.

"And I'll see if I can retrieve any of those arrows as well when we're done."

As plans go, it lacks a certain panache. But less style, and less getting clawed by dead guys has it's own appeal. Before we go I want to check something. Removes bone from his pack attempts to detect any magic emanating from it. Puts bone back, advances toward the entrance with cane ready for use as bludgeon or projectile.

As Anton moves forward, the skeleton takes a swipe at him, barely missing.

Marguerite's arrow destroys another skeleton. As Marguerite backs up the other skeleton beside her loses interest, obviously not wanting to go further out side.

With no other targets, both skeletons step in after Anton and deal serious wounds. The first skeleton rakes both its claws into his chest while the other gouges his head. The trauma is severe enough to knock Anton unconscious. Anton takes 14 damage total. I will need a DC 12 fort save to stop you form bleeding out.

With Marguerite's entrance into the crypt, the skeletons turn and attack. Most of the claws bounce off her armor, but one sneaks through and gives here a small cut Marguerite takes 4 damage.

After attacking the skeletons seem to become less stable, small bones beginning to fall from their body as little wisps of energy leave the joints. After a few seconds, they rain bones on the floor unable to keep themselves together.

I think that solves the problem. I wouldn't normally do that, but I am running the game more for giving the two of you experience in online play than for fidelity to the game. You are out of combat now.

Seeing that he is breathing normally, and does not appear to be bleeding profusely, she turns to pick up her bow and any of the blunt arrows that she can find.

Returning to Anton, she pulls the wand out of her belt and points its tip toward him.

As he opens his eyes and looks around, she says, "We're safe for the moment, but we're both badly injured. What do you want to do?"

"I'm hoping those who proceeded us have left a cache of equipment nearby."

The wailing continues to drifting through the hallways as you listen and look.

There isn't much of use in the room, but on the bodies of the dead townsfolk you find 14 trail rations and another wand of CLW with 20 charges.

Throwing a bit more healing in to help you two out. Its not normally this abundant. I need you to pick one of the two exits to explore next.

After listening at each door, if she hears nothing, she will try to turn the handle and see if the door is locked.
Since we have no way to disable traps if we find them, I'm not even going to bother checking for them

As the two of you look around you find nothing else magical in the room.

Investigating the two doors, you find that the wailing is definitely coming from the one further in the room outline in red. Through the other door you can hear the trickling of water.

Both doors look easy to open and free of traps or obstructions.

Please let me know what you are using for light sources once you leave the entrance.

"Keep that torch high, Anton. I can see twice as far as you can in this light. Hopefully I'll spot them before they spot us."

Opening the door, the wailing grows louder. On the other side you see two hallway branches and a dead end. The wailing appears to be louder down the hallway to your right bottom hallway in the image.

As the two of you round the corner, both of you notice a switch in the alcove behind you cyan square. Unfortunately, Marguerite does not notice the trap door in the second hallway.

As Marguerite puts her weight on it, there is an audible click, and the floor give way under her. She scrambles to save her self, but plummets through the floor.

Falling, she feels something soft hit her back and she sinks into it as it cushions the impact of her fall. When Anton shines the light down the holes they can both see that she has landed on a pile of pillows. Marguerite takes 6 non-lethal damage
