Ok so our group summary looks like this with some poetic license taken by me to summarize backstory/themes. If I'm not highlighting the thing :
Kearra is a Law-Abiding Half-Orc Pit-Fighter - She found out the fights were run by Evil Crime-lords and tried to organize resistance, they responded with the entirely pragmatic assassin and she's been on the run since.
I think that's a rough summary, when discussion opens up we can try to integrate a bit more. Mechanically if we're in a low divine magic setting, defenses are more important than usual since the CLW wand may not be an option. Lots of interesting long term hooks, but we're going to have to flesh out our first small town a bit to have us come together it looks like.
Well Kearra is Chaotic Good. She's free-spirited and wants everyone to do their own thing unless they're total a&@#&$!s. She loves fighting for its own sake but prefers non-lethal bouts. She's not a killer and it means they can fight again some day. She won't go out of her way to break moral laws but I wouldn't call her "law-abiding."
Anyway, when it comes to defenses, we've got a lot of martial characters with only Pasie (a 6/9 caster who can wade into melee as well) and Melanie (9/9 but also capable of melee fighting) there as casting backup. No one is a ranged fighter so everyone has to beat enemies down with melee attacks. I think teamwork feats like outflank and precise strike might help since we're all scrapping together anyway.
Thankfully we have an even number of frontliners. Two are big two-handed fighters. They can deal the hurt while Pushie soaks damage and Kearra debuffs and mezzes. With Martial Flexibility, I can throw down some combat maneuvers while Varian and Lotar go with the direct route. Melanie buffs and throws down some ranged magic while Pasie mezzes from range.
Notes for players:
Pasie - what's your alignment if you don't mind sharing it. And what does Pushie look like?
Varian - Have you considered Cavalier? The lost nobility and honorable warrior seem to fit it better. It'd also give you a different niche than Lotar as a tactician. If you're worried about mounts not fitting the backstory, there are archetypes to trade it away.
I don't want to come off as combative or criticizing. I just like building characters so much I sometimes go a bit far. Let me know if I do.

Its all right! My IRL group doesn't care much about alignment so I often forget to put it down. (There's also the risk of people trying to say "A CHAOTIC GOOD CHARACTER WOULDNT DO THAT!" which annoys me but I doubt anyone here will do) Anyways, Pasie is neutral good, Pushie is true neutral.
On the subject of Pushies looks, he looks like a poor old deformed man with a scar that runs from one side of his face to the other (A hidden mouth full of razorlike teeth) His appearance will however change as we go through things.

Oh don't worry about that from me. Alignment is a guideline, not a straitjacket. And there are multiple interpretations of every alignment.
And that description really helps. I'm used to Eidolons being monstrous so I'm glad I didn't assume that.

There is a PC or two who still haven't checked in. If I don't hear from them in about 24 hours, I will be seeking a replacement.
Everyone should have at least one PM from me, one with details on any needed character revisions, or one with a link to your campaign thread.
Please let me know if you don't know where you should be dotting in.
